You know that we don't usually bother to write tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant belongs to the category of Korean restaurant.
They would have 5 stars but the card machine is down. Other than that, excellent food. The lady in front is so cute and nice
Classic Korean dishes! The Bulgogi beef is amazing. Great flavor, good portions. Great place to get your out of country fixes. It has a cozy feel and some private seating in the back. Good hometown feel.
Great good and service!
Love the bulgogi and the Kim bap!!
Food is excellent and the service was great!
Good dining expetience. Ordered the beef bulgogi. Received a lot, good flavor. Only mistake was I didn't specify I wanted it spicy.
We are visiting from Virginia and just had lunch here. Oh. My. Goodness. The bulgogi and sides were absolutely delicious! Very nice staff. What a pleasurable experience.
Great food and service
NO stars!! The service was AWFUL!! I blame the server as well as the owner who kept insisting we pay for an appetizer that we never received. They said they were out of fried rice but then brought some over to us instead of giving us a discount for the orders being wrong and missing appetizers.
Place used to be good, but it's gone down hill. Takes forever to get your order taken, then even longer to actually get your food! Couple of times I've been in,they didn't hardly have any of the appetizers available. Time to move onto another place to curb my Korean food cravings
Good Korean food!! Its taste wonderful and added bonus it's cheap. If you miss or want Asian food, especially Korean food, come this restaurant!!!
Nice
Good food, good service from friendly staff. Enjoyed the bulgogi!
Really great staff. Delicious food. Loved it.
Have always enjoyed the food and service here, but it has declined in the last month or so.
This place is a hidden gem! The owner is super friendly and also waited on us tonight. Food came out very quickly and was delicious! Will definitely be back!
Wow! The Bulgogi House is definitely a gem in St. Robert. It is nestled in a run down strip mall right outside the main gate of Fort Leonard-Wood. Don't let the appearance fool you though. As soon as you step inside the door, you enter a warm and inviting place. It almost feels like you're in your Korean friend's mom's kitchen! The front is cozy but there is more seating around the corner. The staff was friendly and chatty...but not too chatty. I ordered the Kim Bop and Jap Chae. The food was delicious and the price was right! Everything was well seasoned and you get a lot for what you pay for! If you're craving Korean food, go here!
Very good food and friendly staff.
sucks, too slow, wait more than 1 hour
It was a delightful dining experience waitress was a Lil.overwhelmed at times but the food was good 2x spicy has some heat but nice flavor big portions.
Good food, good service and good company.
I loved it. The beef bulgogi is delicious and the kimchi perfectly spicy.
The food is good, the portions are large they seem to have a lot of staffing issues so wait times vary a lot.
Best kimchi jigae I have had since being in Korea. Delicious.
1 star. The food I actually did receive, an hour after I ordered, was good. But that's the only good thing I can say. I ordered half sweet/half unsweetened tea, received tea so sweet it was undrinkable. Waitress said she would change it out, never did. When my food arrived, it wasn't what I ordered, and was only part of an order. Was told "that's what we have". Went ahead and ate it anyway since I had been there so long. Did not receive a check, so went to the counter to pay, and they charged me for the entire order I originally ordered, although that wasn't what I got. Then told me she gave me a dollar off because of the trouble. The entire experience was absolute craziness! Would not advise going there
Great food.
One star because the food was good but not worth the horrendous service. We ordered our drinks, appetizers and food at once, after waiting about 15 minutes to be greeted as we sat ourselves. Our drinks had t be refilled by ourself or it would not have happened. One appetizer never came the other came after our food. None of our orders were correct. The waitress said they were slow on the fried rice and then later changed it to they were out of fried rice (but some magically appeared after we were all done eating). Two people at our table didn’t get their food for over an hour and that was only after we said they would leave. Then we asked for our checks and for the appetizer to be taken off that was not brought and the lady was condescending and rude. She told us she took the appetizers off only to find out she charged the two others at the table for them. Awful service and will never eat there again.
Nice, clean Korean restaurant. Food was great!
Always the most delicious bugolgi and kimchi.
My friend and I came here almost daily. She's a vegetarian and I only eat chicken. We were told the cheese ramen has no meat in it whatsoever. Everytime we both ate here, we would go home feeling miserable. However, I chucked it up to the dairy in the crab ragoons and the cheese in the ramen because I'm lactose intolerant... but I'll still eat the heck out of cheese
Forgot my rice, and ice tea had sugar after I requested unsweetened. That say the Bulgogi and kimchee was outstanding. I'll go back making sure to check my order before leaving.
Wonderful food and fantastic owner and staff!
The owner "oppa" is seriously perverted. First, he only hires females and he speaks very inappropriately to them. My girlfriend worked there and she had to quit because of the inappropriate things he said to her and did to her and the other workers. Seriously just ask any of the young girls that work there, I think it is only one now. I hate that he is so inappropriate because I used to really like the food there but I can not support a man as perverted as him.
Awesome food, great prices, huge portions, expedient service. Great spot right off fort wood
Was nice! Love kalbi/galbi ♡
First experience with Korean food.
Good!
Food was awesome, girl was alone. She needed help. Overall I'd go back.
the flavor of the beef was great. the rice was dry though and for the price the portions of the sides were very small.
We always stop here when we are near Ft Leonard Wood. We love the Pork Bulgogi. Staff is always great and the food is amazing.
Today I ordered two Bulgogie meals. Had a chose for lunch or dinner. I decided Dinner portion. Dinner portion is now lunch portion for $30+. Greasiest bulgogie ever! Nice place for a one time meal,They need a new cook. Running tie with lucky place around the corner hit and run. They need help.
The best ever.
한국음식맛을 느낄 수 있는 식당
When I was a teenager I had a good friend from Korea. His mom frequently invited me for traditional Korean meals. I grew to love the many subtle flavors, the perfect blend of sweet and salt that is Korean cuisine. I've tried many Korean restaurants over the years with mixed results. Some good, some not as much. Bulgogi House outside of Fort Leonard Wood, MO is every bit as good as my friend's Mama's cooking. Sorry, Yong. Nobody's a better cook than your mom, but this place is as good. Simple, cozy atmosphere. Extremely warm and friendly folks - all of them. If you love Korean food, this is the place. If you've never tried Korean food but are ready to fall in love with it, this is the place.
My party of 4 were trying Korean food for the first time!! We all ordered the lunch beef Bulgogi which came with rice and an assortment of free appetizers such as: pickled radish, cabbage kimchi and some other delicacies. Bulgogi House serves 3 proteins; chicken, beef or pork for a non-discriminatory price of $7. We really enjoyed our experience.
Best bulgogi in town
Love bulgogi house. The food is always great. The employees and owners are awesome. Will be back for sure
The most phenomenal kimchi pancakes! Also for what we paid we got an incredible spread of delicious Korean dishes.
Great little place, big portions, decent prices
Spicy Bulgogie Beef w/ White Rice! Love it!
Bulgogi was great, and so were the prices.
Wait for 50 mins to get small Korean plates on, have no idea how much longer it will be to have my noodle.there were only 5 people sitting in the restaurant when we came in.One star, no excuse
Food was great, good service.
Good food. My fav is pork and beef bulgogi among other food
Excellent food. And great service. Katie is handling the entire floor by herself, and yet still delivers great service.
Wonderful food. Nice hidden gem. Lunch specials are a ton of food. Love it.
Amazing food!!! Super fresh and for a great price. The bulgogi lunch specials are top notch!!!
Never disappointed when I come here.....A+ food!!
The food was good, but the service left something to be desired...
Pretty dang good!!!
Love me some noodles with black bean sauce! Ramen is always a winner for my husband.
Went there with my cousin for the first time. I was disappointed with the menu since it was a Korean restaurant I had expected there to be a lot more Korean dishes but nope. There were a page of Chinese food along with others and the small selection of Korean food, but the beef Bulgogie was delicious although the beef was a little too tender. Everything else was good. :) I love how they bring food out in plates and dishes used in Korea, it was really interesting to use them
Always had great service and great food here.
Great food great service!my kind of place!
I’ll give bulgogi house 3 stars because the food was pretty good. I won’t give them any more because the service was absolutely terrible. I’d strongly recommend cafe Korea over bulgogi house. See below for my most recent experience from about a week ago. We ordered an appetizer (Kim bop and yaki mandu), bibimbap, and kimchi soup and two waters. The bibimbap came out before the app, our side dishes, the soup, our waters, or any utensils. Before we could ask about the rest of our food, water, or even a spoon to eat with, the server bolted off back to the kitchen. After a few minutes, she came back asking what we were still waiting for. I gave her the laundry list of items we still needed so she came back with waters and a spoon and asked what else. This process repeated until eventually (maybe 20 minutes after the bibimbap came out) I finally got my soup. We got the kim bop and yaki mandu later on after asking multiple times. The food was delicious aside from the bibimbap being cold after waiting so long for the rest of the order. When we went to cash out, another server asked if we ever got our appetizers and said that sometimes the kitchen just doesn’t feel like making them they so won’t. To reiterate, the food was pretty good; I’d recommend the kimchi soup. They’re actually open on saturdays so that’s nice. Any other day of the week though, I’d recommend going to cafe Korea.
Lunch special is great!
Excellent food and friendly folks.
I have been to korean three times now for family and this restaurant does a great job with authenticity. I had the japchae which is a stir fry with glass noodles, veggies, and meat . My boyfriend had the pork bulgolgi lunch special. I will definelty be coming back!
The food here was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and the service was fast. They have a selection of authentic dishes as well as some more well known Korean/Chinese fusion fare. Dinner included side dishes, which were all very tasty as well. I will definitely come again if I am ever in the area.
Great food, fast, and friendly staff. I love this place.
Delicious Korean food! Exactly service! Great prices!
Food is really good. I saw the owner cutting up fresh foods one day I went in there. Friendly service and quick to bring your food out.
The food and portions are awesome!
Food is good but the service is horrible. Especially ordering on the phone. Either get your phone fixed and your attitude or don’t bother answering the phone.
Nice place to get bulgogi
Super tasty
Love the atmosphere. The ladies were very welcoming and made sure we were well taken care of!! The food was excellent!!
Food was good. The one server Katie is literally running almost the entire restaurant by herself. I wish all my Soldiers would have her work ethic. Lord help her when she leaves, this place won't survive.
Horrible in every way!!!! New to the area and had a taste for Asian cuisine. Located this place just off post. First, I waited 15 minutes to be greeted calling back to the kitchen. They apologized. I asked how long for I take out order and was told 15 minutes. Great, I said. I order 3 entrees and 2 appetizers ($50). While waiting, I realized that others were waiting on take out too at tables. Sure enough, 15 minutes proved to be over an hour wait. After so long, I was ready to go once my order came. It was a long drive home and we were starving. I open entree to find 1/4 of the pound of meat for our Bulgogi. Entree was also thin with just 5 ice cold pre cooked shrimp and raw veges (sweet and sour shrimp dish). Last, the third entree had hard under cooked fried rice and no egg as the menu listed. Then, I come to find that we only recieved 1 of the 2 appetizers we ordered and that 1 was burnt on one side (Korean pancake). I called and complain. They offered to fix the order if I could return but I couldn't. I returned the next day with all the food and requested a refund but was turned away. Maybe it was an off night. I don't know. I can't overlook their unwillingness to make things right though. Don't buy from this place!
food was very good and great atmosphere.
The food was great, but don't go if you're on a short lunch break. Pretty slow in the early afternoon, not mad though.
Awesome Bulgogi!
This was my first experience with Korean food and I enjoyed it.
Great food
Friendly staff. Ordered sample platter, very good.
Great
It was good
Delicious food and good service. I love all of the little sides they serve. Always a go to spot.
Amazing food. Very friendly service and prices are reasonable for the quality of service.
This place has good food and the service is fast. Around the at Roberts area, this is pretty close to authentic Korea food!
Bulbogi house is our local favorite choice for beef or chicken bulbogi.
Very welcoming staff and great food
Great food and reasonable prices!
Food was very good, priced reasonably and the portions were large.
Great food, great staff
