I eat my best stl's greesy cheeseburgers & cottage fries with aioli here when it's to hot outside to eat at the Dam's picnic-style sports bar atmosphere, and have been seen drinking alcoholic beverages at the Amsterdam's charming like cool cozy sports bar with indoor airconditioning. Gulp!!!

Best soccer bar in St Louis. They have a good beer list and get specials based on who is playing (and from where they come). There is no kitchen, but the next door neighbors at the Dam are happy to deliver very good burgers and hot dogs. Highly recommended.

Walked in, sat 5 min with no greeting, despite only a few patrons present. Area of the bar demarcated "ordering only-- no standing here." Place smells of soured fruit and moldy hops. Ugly signage everywhere.

What a great place! We came here for the first time and loved the atmosphere. Great neighborhood soccer bar with excellent choice of beers on draft and cans. Warm and dark interior which I love. Soccer culture is alive at Amsterdam. Catch any major game at any time playing on the big screen, and the World Cup crowds are so fun. Chill bartenders, casual sports crowd. Order the Belgium burger next door from the Dam and get it delivered to the bar.

Great soccer bar. Has local craft beers and always plays soccer. It is quite small but not so loud that you can't have a normal volume conversation. The burger joint next door has some of the best burgers and fires I have ever tasted and offer to bring your food to you in the bar.

Best futbol bar in STL. There's plenty of local soccer history on the walls. Excellent tap list full of local brews and special beers just for Amsterdam. You can order burgers from the Dam next store and they will bring it to you at the bar. Bartenders are quick to serve you a drink. Plenty of outdoor seating in the back. No dogs are allowed. Whenever USA is playing or the world cup is on expect a huge turnout and party.

World Cup atmosphere was amazing. Food however was poor at best. Had sign for $.50 each shrimp, ordered a shrimp taco for $7 expecting salsa or something with it. Was given 3 shrimp and a tortilla. SERIOUSLY? Tortilla was super dry and could not even eat it. Someone else in the group ordered the $7 brat. Dry and tasteless. Recommend eating before or after and not at Amsterdam.

The Amsterdam Tavern has several screens playing soccer games from around the world as well as an appropriately fitting selection of beers and beverages. Go next door to the dam, which is the Burger Joint affiliated with the bar, and enjoy any of their Myriad Gourmet Burgers with the Special curry Sauce that comes as a side to the french fries.

This is a great bar with a solid tap collection, a huge outdoor covered patio/beer garden and food from a related spot a few doors down. You do have to order over there in person but they bring it over when it's ready. We went on a quiet evening but on weekends I'm sure it gets crowded. All beers we're $4 on Thursday which was a great deal.

Known for it's dedication to futbol, come here anytime there is a game on. That even extends to early morning games during Euro Cup or World Cup. But having a traditional futbol atmosphere is not everything, as the beers on tap are always on point. This place doesn't serve food, but don't despair because next door is The Dam Burger and you are more than welcome to bring their food in.

Went with my husband to watch a an English football game. Great place. The bar tender was very friendly and attentive. The drinks were very reasonably priced. The only drawback is that it’s small, though there is a lot of outdoor seating with a tv. If you go for a big weekend game you would want to turn up early to guarantee an inside seat.

The staff is always very friendly and inviting regardless of the team that you like. Other soccer bars are usually dedicated to certain teams but Amsterdam is always packed with fans of a variety of soccer fans. Many supporter's groups call Amsterdam Tavern home
