Mixed emotions here. There once was a time that I would have said that this was my absolute favorite nightspot on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, however my opinion has changed since the change in management. All of the Bartenders, Malcolm and the cooks are all wonderful, but some of the other member of the staff seem to have some issues with attitude that adversely effect the atmosphere. While I appreciate the diversity of musical acts, the schedule should be followed a bit better. On a super positive note, the food is obscenely good. It seems that they take standard sysco foods and transform them into delightful edibles. Don't miss the second to none potato salad!

I hate having to 1 star The Juke Joint, I have gone to this place for years and hope that this review will help recover what used to be an awesome place. The bartenders are still super good but the "bouncer" situation has gotten terrible. They started wearing black, aggressive looking "security" shirts and wandering around literally looking to create drama it seems. The one female bouncer dresses SWAT-style and gives off the ultimate Eric Cartman "respect my authoritie" vibe. She's singling out and picking on girls and seems to be creating drama when none is there. Juke Joint please fix whatever insecurities your bouncers have or else replace them.

Really chill cool place to hang out. Or at least it used to be. Recently there's an extremely rude female bouncer that makes it not a fun experience at all. Less than 2 weeks ago the bouncer followed and harrassed my friend at the restroom. Before she could even order her first drink the female bouncer told her she was cut off for the night. My friend told her that she had ordered a Lyft and wasn't going to be driving anyway. The bouncer was super awful with no people skills whatsoever. She was so horrible that my friend left because she made her so uncomfortable. We were regulars at the juke joint and loved the vibe. I highly recommend firing this person before she chases off all your clientele.

Love the live music, the cozy interior and the open space outside. The drinks are usually good too. Great place to hang, or if you are bar hopping, make sure it's a stop. Worth checking out at least twice.

If you are out and about in Ocean Springs Mississippi and enjoying the local night life this fun town has to offer, definitelftry include this bar on your list of " must stop spots" !!!!! Especially if you are a live local music buff !!! This bar is not directly downtown, like most of the other hot spots in Ocean Springs, but being off the main though fare has it's advantages!!!! They have a large back yard with fire pits and corn hole plus a big stage where bands perform and huge patio with plenty of seating !!!!!

This place is the bees knees. I’m sitting outside on the front porch right meow, sippin’ my third drink and I only paid $15 for UNLIMITED drinks!!! WHAT’S UP WITH THAT?!? I feel as giddy as a school girl! On top of that, the staff is hella friendly! Like, friendlier than my southern grandma who makes me a feast when I come to visit her! Now, at first glance, it kind of looks like a haunted house, but it is SOOOOO DOPE! Once you get to the porch, you immediately feel the sick vibes going on! You get your drinks, chill inside, and then you go out back... and let me tell you about going out back! The place is LIT! Like, literally. It’s lit. There’s all kinds of crazy cool lights in the back strung around the trees! Did I mention there’s a fire pit?!?! Anyway, if you haven’t been here, you’re more than likely wasting your life sitting in front of your Xbox playing PUBG, thinking, “man, I wish I could get social interaction but I’m just so afraid of talking to real people.” Seriously. Come here. Have a good time. Get turnt. You’re welcome.

The security is the best because they are friendly and respectful to everyone. The juke joint is somewhere we always go. It was a house that was turned into a bar. They usually have live music on the weekends either inside or they have a stage out back. They have games like corn hole, giant jenga, and giant connect 4. I also belive they have $10 beer pong. There's plenty of seating outside, they have multiple tables and chairs. They also have fire pits too, perfect for when it gets colder. Oh yah the mascot is a trash panda!!(racoon) this place is pretty great!

It is truly a shame that I have to elaborate on my 5 star review! Apparently being a female wearing ANY kind of clothing that says “security” on it means that they’re ‘aggressive’?! Anyways I’ve encountered ALL of the Security people on several occasions and the ONLY time they have even talked to people (other than a smile and a kind word) was if they were asking if someone (you drunk people) needed a ride to be called for you. Let’s keep it classy and not blame the people trying to keep everyone safe! The Juke Joint is a really cool place! EXPECIALLY if DJ Rocco & Lady Mel are DJing!! :)

In short this place is amazing. Super friendly staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. Brandi is an incredible bartender who makes the best Bloody Mary’s on Sunday. My wife and myself went for the all you can eat crawfish. Walked in, dirty, dog was inside, and not one employee even spoke. Walked through to the back yard, and back through, still, nobody even acknowledged we were there. We went to Crawfish House instead

Very cool place to go before it gets late! BUT some of the reagulars there are not the best. I and the group I was with was threatened by a regular there with a gun and the staff told us he did that often. I will not be going back because of the type of people the bar brings in at night.

Loved this place but apparently some incident made the security start breathing down your neck. I ordered some food when I got there recently and then was tracked down by security out on the bridge to be told I was cut off, after she asked about our transportation and I told her we used Lyft. I was later told by another security person it’s becuase she saw me wobbling when I was sitting on a little edge earlier. Anyway I have never been cut off in my life, 31 years, and that was super weird to be tracked down by her for that. I go to the bar to get intoxicated obviously, now at the juke joint I feel like I need to be able to pass a sobriety test to be there.. hope this changes soon.
