This Restaurant is included in the category of Buffet restaurant.
It was so clean, the waitress was WONDERFUL. Even the young ladies that took your money were excellent. Wish your hotel was that nice. It was dark and dirty the night I stayed. Will eat here again, and tell all my friends. But please stay away from the hotel.
Prime rib and shrimp were great desserts are awesome
Food should be better
the food was excellent the only thing I didn't like was the waiters staring at us.... I know it was the end of the night but dang lol
pretty much what you would expect from a $30 buffet, but worse.
Buffett sucks. No variety of food. Everything was old on the buffett
Very good for the money.
Enjoyed luncheon. Plenty of different foods and desserts. All for a good value.
Loved the food here and the employees were nice and friendly. This is my #2 Buffett in the whole state. The state
Not very good on a Monday night! Cold food, poor selection. Desert was good...
Good and fresh food
No a good buffet. Never will go back.
Flies limited food selection why is everybody unfriendly?
Buffet not very big for Sunday lunch
Worst Buffet ever. Monday morning I believe it was everything left over from the Sunday dinner you could tell that the vegetable lasagna was reheated because it wasn't different pieces in the pan Which is more cheese melted over the top part of the green beans part was cold part was hot so it definitely not keeping up with temperature will not be back
Saturday nights its fresh and good if you play at the casino its pretty much free ... during the week not so fresh
I was at the casino, and I attended the buffet. I am not a fan of buffets. It was kept well enough, and was probably one of the nicer places to eat in the area.
They need to learn how to cook and put better quality of food
It was great an endless sleection but some of the deserts and food is extremely old like the pie I got was stuck to another plate indicating it was there long enough to get stuck.
Plenty of food and above average. Dessert was just ok
Had a great time.
This place dont even deserve 1 star. The buffet is a joke. I literally counted how many items there was to choose from 9 items for a price of $25 on Saturday. This is how most of the containers looked. Dont waste your time there you will be disappointed especially when the Horseshoe is nearby with an absolutely wonderful buffet
Food always good
The food was ok. Pretty bland for a $18 buffet... most everything was way over cooked and the sweet tea was horrible.. over all not worth the money
Not many choices and overpriced
Very good variety and food was delicious. Cashier and server were very polite and attentive. Sunday brunch supervisor (today's manager) was not talkative at all to us as customers. When we first paid at the cash register, the cashier said follow me but then the supervisor walked up and said something socially to the cashier and took our ticket. When she took the ticket from the cashier, she turned away from us and walked to a table without ever saying a word to us. I had to ask the cashier if we were supposed to follow her (the supervisor) now and she said yes. The supervisor put our ticket on the table and turned immediately to the server without ever saying a word to us. When we voiced our displeasure with the server, the supervisor was about 10' away and turned to listen to what we were saying but never came back and then just walked off. The supervisor spoke socially to both the cashier and the server but never said a word to us.
Selection was minimal especially for the price. The food was not fresh & very bland. The server was attentive but not very friendly, until he saw we tipped well (mostly because we didn’t have change & We always tip). I do not recommend & will not eat there again.
The crab legs here are to die for!!! We had been eating them at Hollywood but Sam's Town is way better!!!
Went in the evening, Saturday (seafood dinner). Food and service were both amazing!!!!
Wide variety, good service.
This buffet had food that was amazing it tastes great that have many choices of food to choose that serve breakfast lunch and dinner you can come at anytime before they close if your staying somewhere and want some food just go to this buffet
Joes 24hr nasty tho
The food was very good and the staff very friendly!
So many options for food. It's well worth the money to go.
The waitress wasn't friendly.Very poor customer service she didn't say a word to us the whole time.Everything else was great.
Always have awesome food, lot of choices
Talking about good
Good food, good variety.
The food is good but other casinos do offer a larger selection.
Food was awful...everything cooked out a box...cold food and not any flavor.very greasy
The buffets all suck at the Tunica casinos. Not much food & too much $$$$
Every time we go I always have a good time and the staff is friendly and the seafood buffet the best.
Great seafood buffet on Saturdays.
This buffet used to be wonderful with a large selection. The lunch selections were limited to salad bar, pork chops with sides, nachos and deserts.
Friendly servers, but the buffet is definitely lacking. Seafood buffet is not worth what they are charging you for. Dessert bar is a joke too.
This buffet is the best there is, everything has great flavor, staff was very attentive, clean, and just spectacular. Too bad I stay in Texas, I wanted to take some food home and want to come back every weekend just to eat there. Thank you for a great experience.
Was disappointed in the selections available . Considering the price you would expect more choices. Staff was friendly
Alas it's not as good as it once was. Selection of food wasn't as good as on previous visits but it was prepared well and delicious. Our server did a great job too, keeping our coffee warm and plates cleared and doing it with a smile.
Buffet was not replenished. A lot of empty containers of food items.
No crackers for the crab legs.
No seafood at lunch, other wise great, everything u could want
You expect to go to the casino and lose money. You don’t expect to lose money at the restaurant. The value for what I paid was so abysmally low compared to the food that I got. If you want to get powdered eggs, watery gravy, stale biscuits, and dry muffins for $17 of a buffet you go right ahead. I won’t ever again .
Never get a comp for the buffet so I can't tell u anything ok
Good food
Ribs was Bangin!!!
You get what you pay for. I do like that the buffet includes three complementary drinks
The food was not too pleasing. The waiter seemed as if he did not want to serve our table. This was my first time on a seafood night and the price was definitely not worth the taste. The only good thing I can say is that the lines were not long and they provided complimentary wine/beer. I was expecting so much better, but was very dissatisfied.
always the same things. very consistent
Food wasn't super fresh, and it was very very very expensive for a casino buffet. Like I get i'm there to be milked for money, but these people are straight robbers.
Not near what it was a few years ago. We ate on a Wednesday for supper. They carved Turkey only with no gravy. The desert bar was as good as Las Vegas. They had a small Asian and small Italian area. The waiter was excellent which upped it to a 4.
Very nice experience.
It was 10.99 a person for a full buffet of everything u can think of even oriental food. I'd have to say I usually get salad but after eating all the hot food and desert I was set. We saw our waiter twice for drinks, that was all we needed anyhow. The food was of great quality so before u seek other casino options go here because there is no restaurants in this town unless u go to memphis
excellent service fantastic food great atmosphere
If you can't find something you like then you don't like food
Poor selection of food and it was Valentine's night. We paid for fried chicken, the main dish.
So good
The BEST BUFFET EVERYDAY of the week! Catfish is soooooo good! Snow Crablegs are huge on the seafood buffet!!!!!!
It,was very good not over wellming but enjoyable had snow crabs with it but no crackers to crack it had free beer and wine
It was ok
Food was good, tasty and not overly seasoned. The desserts were scrumptious especially the cookies that were on a hot tray , this was something that was added All in All good food experience.
Love the breakfast buffet with the best oml et station people are great
Food not good $ 39.00 buffet.
Clean nice staff. Food was warm not hot. Dessert was awesome.
It was very good food and i love the waiter she was so nice
Everything was excellent! The ribs and beef brisket were amazing! So many choices, too! Loved it.
We stayed at a different casino hotel, but chose The Great Buffet because how good previous visits have been. Prime rib carved at the carving station was not edible. Pizza was cold "frozen" pizza. Almost everything was cold. Chinese rice and other options wer dried out and cold. Im not sure if it was because it was a Sunday night, but we will not eat there again.
Lousy food not worth the price ate breakfast and lunch
My wife and I was greatly disappointed. Our first time it little Vegas, and the food sucked. I did find one bright spot, and that was the Chinese buffet. The best part of the whole trip was getting to spend it with our great friends.
Sunday night buffet is $18 and closes between 9-930, depending on how busy they are. Hubs and I showed up around 830 not expecting much. We were pleasantly surprised to find all the stations full of fresh, hot food. We had a little bit of everything and it was all delicious. Husband was very fond of the ribs. The mashed potatoes are swimming in butter and the greens and catfish are amazingly full of flavor. I did not taste much at the Asian side but the egg roll was delish. This one beats out Hollywood by a long shot and we didn't even get crab legs here.
The chef is cool !
The water never came back to see if I needed anything so I just got up and left. But the food was very good and the cashier lady was nice.
The breakfast buffet is a MUST. Omelettes were on point, and all the food was fresh.
Small selection but very tasty
Awesome food!
Great Casino I hope to get $100.00 free play from you soon.
Normal buffet stuff. The staff was very nice and helpful. The waiter was quick to refill drinks and pick up plates.
It was a little pricey for the food. The Asian section was left out for a long time. So it was more like mush. The servers staff was great. Came back often.
The employees were very helpful and polite. The food was delicious what we picked out to eat. The fried chicken was done of the best we have had, and the mashed potatoes was awesome. Everything looked great but we only got a few items. The desert bar is so tempting. My friend had fresh fruit and a chocolate pie, plus a lemon pie slice. I only had fresh fruit and a couple oatmeal raisin cookies. I would eat here anytime the food is always great. Can't beat the friendly people that works here.
We always go for the buffet. Usually always on point. Last time we went during seafood. Hubby liked it but not me. Im more of a sides eater and they cut back the sides for all the extra meat. I was not happy at all. This time was much better but hubby was disappointed they didnt have the catfish. They've always had the catfish no matter the night. So no clue what was up last night. Service is always food. We use to go so much the waiters instantly know us. Plus dont hurt when you tip very well!
Big price for old food. Servers were good.
Good food price a little high
Not the best buffet by far
Food could have been a little fresher. Price was right.
$89 for 2 adults and a child. No children s discount. Very small selection and gross food. We ate at Goldstike last night for $60. All the crablegs I can eat and a better selection of food. Everything at Goldstrike was delish. I will never eat at Sam's Town again, or give them anymore of my money. If you like nasty gross food, feel free to go. I will spend my mone at Goldstrike!
Service was poor food selection was poor. Not impressed with Buffett at all
Food was real good and fresh.the people and service was good also. The buffet was huge.
Very good nice selection.
Good food, just wish they had served real turkey instead of processed.
Hardly any selection and food stations were a mess. Although the servers who bring napkins and refills were good, but the food was not that great.
Food was dried out horrible they need to do better on keeping the food fresh
Nicely laid out, food was so yummy, freshly made, and staff was very friendly.
Good
Great food a little pricy
The food was delicious and the price for the buffet was very reasonable. I especially enjoyed the dessert options they had. We will eat here again for sure.
Didn't like the food
Not very good
Went for the Prime rib and shrimp buffet last night. The prime was overcooked, dry and rubbery. The shrimp tasted like they had been sitting in water for a while and were soggy. Just the opposite of the way either of these two things should be served. The vegetables were okay. This buffet used to be one of the better ones in the casinos around here. What happened?
The Buffett smoke Joe the biscuits and gravy was watery
Very nice even though we are in the old section of the hotel. Clean but worn and a cold shower last night.
Great food and staff
Good food.
OMG!! The catfish tasted like home! Everything was delicious!
Great
Good food but some of the staff unfriendly!
Crab legs were excellent & all wait staff was very friendly.
The best food, lots of choices. Very friendly staff.
With the young-at-heart discount this was a great destination.
Wed night dinner was awful! Catfish cold, not cooked thru and thru. Muffin was very stale. Baked potato was cool and not soft ( not cooked enough & butter would not melt). Ranch Salad dressing was thin. Do not reccomend this dinner place. Breakfast on Thursday was ok but not great as the pancakes were tough and how does one manage that? Scrambled eggs ok as was bacon. Fruit cocktail had a metallic taste. Eating elsewhere now
Fresh food. Great service.
Nice in room clean bathroom was cleaned the lady's at the front desk was so nice Thank you
Gordon needs to get here ASAP. Doesn't even deserve a 1 star. The food was DISCUSTING.
Good food, only complaint is dessert was not good.
Awesome seafood!
Paid $20 and it wasn't great! Everything was cold and nothing was fresh. Salad wasn't even good!
Outstanding food and service
Get your food in a timely matter.
How can such a great Casino have such a poor Buffet, not even worth it if comped.
Great selection and friendly staff
Always great
Good food great omlete good price
Nice casino to play, stay and eat check out the pool area it's 5* by it's self
The dining room was immaculate, not like the room I stayed in last month. The catfish was delicious but fried harder than I like The server was one of the best I've had in a casino restaurant
Over priced, bland food, not many choices, friendly staff
Food use to be better, but today it was ok
For the price the food could have taste better... probably won't go back.
Was ok and was satisfied, but not superb food.
Loved it
Came in really to try the buffet. 18.00 a head and 90% of the hard, dried out and cold. It looked like someone lefti out far too long. Pizza cheese looked plastic, baked potatos rock hard, rice was dried and horrible. Sweet tea tasted spoiled. Server was very attentive and catfish was yummy!
Way over priced. Food was mostly cold. Some food had no flavor. Disappointed
It was horrible. We went on a Tuesday evening at 6pm. Half of all the stations were covered up and closed the ones that were open were completely empty. One man was working and we all started asking about food. He was very confused and just kind of ran around. We lined up at the carving station for about 15 minutes and then he finally brought out a VERY RARE piece of meet. We Paid $40 and my husband had 2 pieces of dried up pizza and I had a salad. Our server was good enough to cook a couple pieces of meat. It use to be great but I won't go back. Complained to managment but all she said was she didn't know. Don't pay good money to go there
Loved it was a great Brunch so so full and good price
Was good, went for the crab legs, they were good, they serve them now, which with the high price of crab legs, that makes sense, still can get all you want. Bring back the shrimp and grits and carve the strip again instead of precutting it into a pan
The food was good
The food is awesome.
The selection of food was not good. The deserts were horrible. I'm sorry I was not impressed by the staff .
Good selection, good food and only $9.99 for lunch. Great deal!
Very good food compared to the other surrounding area restaurants at the near bye cosinos'
Meh
