Dee was the server for our group of 8 who all showed up at different times because of commuter issues. She was very sweet about it and kept our bar drinks coming, each was made correctly too! 4 of us ended up having appetizers that she recommended and we're very satisfying. By the time our last member was able to make it we were feeling very at home. No pool tables as someone else had said there are but no big loss. There was a live band on a random Wednesday night too and they sounded good from the back.

In 1989 a film by the name of Road House came out. It had Patrick Swayze in the role of Dalton. He went to work at the Double Duece, a bar owned by Frank Tilghman. The bar is rowdy at first but Dalton quickly whips it into shape. Steeles Dive is this bar post Dalton's arrival. The Dalton role is assumed by Brett and the role of Frank is seamlessly assumed by Jason, the owner of Steele's Dive. It occasionally gets a little rowdy but Dalt...I mean Brett keeps it under control. The entertainment is always top notch for this area. The drinks are great and Dana at the bar will always take care of you. I'm still searching for the Sam Elliott character at Steele's Dive, which I should be able to find, because I'll certainly be back. This is a country bar with great service and friendly staff. All types are welcome and the crowd is typically diverse. Just remember, if you get rowdy, you might catch a round house kick.

They had amazing food here. On Sundays I have a buffet that is out of this world is home cooking. The staff is so good. if you enjoy yourself social scene Thursday Friday and Saturday nights they absolutely have it going on with great bands each of those nights. I love being able to sit him the screened-in back porch. Even in the winter you can sit there because they turn heaters on and it's still comfortable. If you haven't met yet I absolutely recommend you go soon!

Steele's is a very large evening bar that turns into a buffet during the day. I've never been at night, but I'm told it can get "exciting". The lunch buffet is always good. Usually the same types of food (meat and two veggies with chicken strips, dressing, or hamburger steak to choose from). I would suggest it because it is easy to get in and out of if in a hurry. And the food is always good.

This place is AWESOME. The atmosphere is very laid back and inviting. I have never had bad service and the food is excellent. I recommend the steak. I've never been there for it, but I hear they have some pretty good live music there occasionally too. You need to go to here!

I am thankful to have anywhere like this fine establishment, it is like a light to a moth for the surrounding area. In fact, I live in a certain "dry" county directly north of Lee county, and I happily make the 40 minute drive and spend my locally earned money in one of the surrounding counties, counties that are not where I live nor work. It appears to me, judging just on the shameful, desperate, and unnecessarily hazardous condition of the backroads I drive daily, that we are in great need of the revenue that is being earned here just to be spent out of town to benefit their local roads, schools, etc. In summary, thank y'all kindly for the fun times Steele's!

The outside bandstand was great, little disappointed we've such an early flight out, that would've been cool! Service was good, but my shrimp was too done. The rest of our group had much better luck then I did. If you like southern food, this is your spot!

Be aware that smoking IS permitted in their "outside" dining area. Disappointed that all-you-can-eat "Catfish Friday" is available ONLY for bone-in fish. Food tasted great, though. Little disappointed with wait time considering the size of the crowd.

I decided to give this place a shot based on the high reviews here and was sorely disappointed. Drinks were served in plastic cups and were weak and bland. My prime rib was so over cooked I had to get steak sauce just to be able to eat it. The place was dirty and unkempt and the bartender kept talking about how much she didn't want to be there or would just like to sit down and have herself a drink instead of working. I won't be back.

Visited this place for the first and only time. We went in and sat down, ordered our drinks and ordered our food. Food came out and steak was seasoned good, but overdone for what we ordered. Smoked cabbage didn't have any seasoning on it and the red potatoes were not done. And a roach crawled close to where we were sitting. We will not be going back!

Went to Steele's last night for a bite to eat. Always heard the food was good. Ordered the bone in pork chop. The flavor was out of this world. Cooked to perfection and was very tender. The whole entree was very good. Service was good and wait on the food was not long.

Whole catfish was either ruined are not done..tasted awful and tried to get them to fix another one but she wouldnt and my sister tht had dementia said hers was cold and tasted bad too but she tried to eat but didnt finish...all they did was give a 2.00 discount...bad customer service...never been treated like this at any other restaurant...maybe they need a new chef...will never eat there again

The environment was amazing! The music was great, Spud Monkees! The food was amazing (what we recieved) ! The waitress forgot to bring our salads, and we had to flag her down for drink refills! Our food took 1 hour & 45 mins to make it to the table & we didn't receive any discounts for the missing food or the long wait so I was pretty disappointed! We ended up spending $100! I definitely won't be back

Worse service ever! I had asked for a suggestion of what to eat, since I couldn't make my mind up. My server suggested the buffalo style chicken nachos. My nachos barely had meat or cheese, on it. I asked for something else, since I wasn't pleased with my selection that the server recommended. I was told, "WE DO NOT SEND FOOD BACK." I was like okay, but I was told that the chicken would be shredded. It wasn't. I was extremely disappointed and not happy. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE. If I could give ZERO STARS I WOULD! Food was not good at all. The second picture is what they served me, in the restaurant. The first picture is what I did to it, when I got home. This is a big difference, I could have made this better, at home. Save your money!

Food was not good at all. Steaks were overcooked and the sides had no flavor. Friend ordered BBQ sandwich and the bun was so soggy that she only ate the meat. On the up side the music and drinks were great. Definitely a place to have fun, not to eat at.

We just had our 10 year class reunion at this location. It was a great decision. Steele’s Dive has an inviting atmosphere that allowed our group of 60 to socialize, reconnect, relax, and celebrate all at once. This business is staffed with people who are very well trained. Steele’s is lucky to have such a professional staff. Throughout the planning process and party, the managers and staff were more than attentive to every person’s wants and concerns. Special thank you to Steele’s managers, servers, and bartenders who works our reunion. Lisa, Tiffany, Dee, Madison, and Harley, y’all hustled all night. Thank you for an amazing experience.
