Wow what a great experience! From the view And the food to the amazing service! Roy took amazing care of me and my family! He made sure my kids were happy! The server didn't get wipes after we ate. They said the wipes were in front where we came in. They should have got the wipes for us! We had bbq and our hands were sticky! The food was good. They charged too much for a small piece of corn on the cob. $2.99 is too much for such a small piece of corn!

We’re not from the area and have been to this place twice in the last five days! I absolutely love the cheese fries!! Their barbecue is better than the barbecue we had down in Texas a couple weeks back. Prices are decent. The atmosphere is great and kid friendly. One of my favorite places on the beach. The smoked chicken wings are worth the drive from Baton Rouge. Great for families and larger parties, nice beach views along the newly established Biloxi boardwalk.

The food is outstanding......as always, although I feel it's too expensive. I feel owners of restaurants directly on the water (man-made beach) feel privileged enough to where they can charge more for their food inwhich I do not agree. That being said....I will return for more brisket plates with mac-n-cheese and baked beans, extremely delicious!!!

Family group of 9 for a late lunch, hubby and I both had the beef brisket sandwich, that meat was sooo tender and good. Lots of it piled on the roll, with onion strings. Yummy. We all shared the cheesy bacon fries for an appetizer, again, yummy. Grandson had to have fried pickles so we tried those too. Left full of good food! If I lived closer I'd be here every month!

Our family ate at Slap Ya Momma's tonight and Emilia was a ROCKIN' server! She was polite , fast , and attentive! Our food was the bomb too. The Hog fries and the half chicken are 10/10 and the pulled pork is a must!

BBQ sauce was mostly sugar, no distinct flavors or taste. Side were just okay. The wings were cooked well, the brisket was dry though. The fried pickles were some of the best I've had; good flavor and texture. Server was friendly and knowledgeable. Seats were not that comfortable, as well as a couple of bugs flying/crawling was just a little much.

The loaded baked potato that I ordered today was horrible. The brisket was over cooked, very dry. The potato was baked until it hollered. I definitely will not go back, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Now the waitress was super friendly. And to be so busy it was very clean.

Oir waitress Raven was super friendly and made sure we had a great dining experience. The food was AH-MAZING!! The service here was pretty fast and view was amazing! The pricing for the food was pretty decent and the staffing was very friendly. We had a great experience!!! My husband and I are on vacation from Florida and was pulled in by the name of the restaurant. We ordered the hog fries for an app AMAZING and the platter for 2. EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME. Best Barbecue we've ever had. Our server Jessica was great!! The chef actually came to our table because we ordered the platter, he wanted to see how we liked it.

This picture shows how good this BBQ is. Seriously, probably the best pulled pork BBQ sandwich in my life! The sourdough bun and onion straws set it over the top! Their slogan "Our name brought you in here, but our food will make you come back" really says it all. From the $5 Bloody Mary to the fried pickles to the ribs and pulled chicken, our meal was just delicious. Our server, Emily, was a doll - she kept apologizing because she was "only 18, and really wasn't that familiar with the (adult) drinks." But she was more than happy to check with other staff about our drink questions. Our only real complaint was that we all thought the pulled pork and brisket were a bit too dry, but they were both super tasty and greatly improved by the addition of the barbecue sauce readily available on the table. We would definitely recommend Slap Ya Momma's to our friends and will certainly come back when we are back in Gulfport.

I got the buffalo wings, the sauce was great, a little tang with just enough spiciness that they didn't get unbearable to eat after 3. They smoke their wings then fry to crisp. They are seasoned perfectly you can eat them without the sauce and they would still be good.

We stopped here for lunch on our way from NOLA to Florida, and we were not disappointed! The location was amazing, right along the beautiful white sand beach. We sat on the patio to enjoy the views, and we were pleasantly surprised by the cool ocean air on a hot summer day! Food was good, large portions, quickly brought to the table. The view over the beach is beautiful. Our server, Sarah, was awesome! Which I want to give 5 stars for, but I was extremely disappointed in the bar menu and beer options. Nearly all the mixed drink options were a some variation of Captain Morgan and Coconut and there wasn't a SINGLE Porter or Stout beer option on tap much less in a bottle. I ended up settling for "black lager" that to be honest wasn't even good enough to remember what it was called. If you want a good dark beer to go with some awesome barbeque, unfortunately this is not the place as you will be disappointed in the beer options. I really hope to see a beer/bar menu revamp in the near future as I KNOW there are good dark beers available in this area and I know what restaurants have them available. I left with several laughs, a full stomach, but a bit of disappointment this evening. I hope this restaurant will broaden it's bar options and I can leave happy next visit.

my family and i came in on sunday, and we absolutely loved the place! The BBQ was AWESOME and the staff was friendly. Rikki took amazing care of us!! The only thing that could have made it better would have been to be a little cooler, it was awfully stuffy where we were sitting which threw off the amazing view with all the windows. We could even see dolphins playing from inside where we sat! Recommend this place for sure!!

Good BBQ, superb service. Only negative, and it's a big one to me, is the payment process. The bill is on a handheld device that the waiter show s you....ask for your card and swipes it at the table. You then pick the gratuity, sign and hand device back to them. If you want a receipt, he goes to register and brings it back. This will probably keep me from returning.

We did have a bit of a wait to be served, it was really busy and there was only 2 servers at the bar. The woman working seemed more interested in socializing than working. We ate there on Labor Day 2019 I think we arrived during shift change so Kim started us off and Emilia finished us. Both servers were great. We ordered the BBQ Platter $42.99. We waited about 30 minutes for our food. Boyfriend and I don’t care for brisket so we asked for extra pulled pork. Everything on the platter was good. Most favorite were the ribs and least favorite was the sausage. We ordered the baked beans, slaw and potato salad. Out of the three, the slaw was the best. We will more than likely return and try some of their sandwiches and different sides. Service deserves 5 stars.

This place was absolutely awesome! Our waitress Lauren was fantastic! We came for some appetizers and drinks and it was so awesome. Great view of the water and even better service! Thank you for an awesome experience. We will be back the next time we are in Biloxi!

Momma Bear

My husband and I were visiting Biloxi and were drawn in to this place because of the name and the cute exterior. We found the indoors to be equally charming. But best of all was the food and the service. As a Texan, my hubs thinks he’s the final authority on bbq and he said the ribs were fantastic. My brisket was great too. Great service by our waitress, Lauren. Amber, the hostess, was also helpful and a lot of fun. Definitely recommend stopping in, whether visiting or a local.

Today's meal at Slap Ya Momma's was AMAZINGLY delicious! I'm not a fan of pulled pork, chicken or ribs but the BBQ Sampler was awesome! We ordered a side of Smoked wings and they did not disappoint us. Even better, the wings were only .50 cents because it was Sunday. Drinks?!? Wheeew....great. I'll leave it at that. Great almost with a friendly staff and very professional. Our waitress Emilia was the Best!!! She's very friendly and extremely courteous. I would highly recommend this establishment to all Visitors as we're sure the locals are quite familiar.

Got the half rack of ribs with baked beans & fries & the whole meal was AWESOME! The ribs do have a lil kick to them (spicy) but they are good! Our waitress was SUPER nice & the atmosphere was very pleasant & welcoming. We sat outside & the view was beautiful. A very nice breeze & it wasn't too hot sitting out there because there is shade. The food came hot & quick! A plus indeed!!!

Best barbeque in the area. Ask for Ben. Great service, super friendly, personable. Honestly, I could sit down and share drinks with Ben. Give that man a raise. Ma and Pa atmosphere, outdoor seating facing the water, and shuffleboard to boot.

Sarah was the BEST! As chaotic and busy as the restaurant seemed, she kept her cool and had no problem making sure all of her guests were taken care of. Her recommendations for sausage and Mac n cheese were on point. Definitely will be back. Would really like to see some better beer selection (dark beers) on tap.
