This place is sooo good! I’m lucky to work near by so I can walk over when ever I want and I simply just don’t go enough. The food comes out so hot and flavorful every time and they have THE BEST sticky white rice on the coast. Sometimes I’ve even come in just to order sides of rice to take home and use for my own meals because it’s just worth making the trip. They absolutely know good cooking and totally deserve your business!

Staffs reacted to complaints and concern negatively. The food wasn’t good so we asked them to remake. They refused and had a really bad attitude towards getting complaied. We ended up paying anyway though it wasn’t worth the money, and they didn’t deserve it. Would never go back again. As a business, you must be able to handle complaints. If your customers are not satisfied with the food, try to make it good. Do not react negatively.

This place is close to base and has good Korean food! I ordered the japchae and my husband ordered the beef ramyun. I shouldn’t have ordered it medium spicy because it was super spicy but so delicious. There’s one lady that runs the front by herself and she’s very nice. Reminds me of my mom. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re craving Korean food!

I've been to many Korean restaurants and I was sad to say I had a bad experience with this restaurant. My wife ordered for me and I heard her say what I wanted to the waitress. And when my wife received her food first, I sat and waited for a good 30 mins. Nothing came out. When my wife asked the waitress about it, she said, "Wait, you ordered two dishes?" I was highly disappointed because she even saw me open up the menu and look through and I even heard my wife order my dish along with hers. Why would I even look in the menu if I wasn't going to order? Also, while I was waiting, the waitress didn't even come to check on us at all during the whole time I was waiting. No refills on water or the side dishes. The food was way over priced for what it's worth. I recommend for any tourists who come to MS to steer clear of this one and try elsewhere.

My first time eating here, it was excellent, everything we had was delicious and just as I expected Korean food to be. The spic was spot on, spicy and flavorful. I can’t wait to return and try everything on the menu. Some on here said the service was not good, I thought it was fine. Remember it is the food that is important and it was priced quite low, so less servers, lower price. That being said, the one server did just fine. I think in general Americans want very fast service, most other countries are not in a big rush, if its slow, try enjoying your guests in interesting conversation.

The spicy bulgogi is the best. If you want extra heat, ask for super spicy bulgogi. Watch out because it might just wreck you for the rest of the day. Make sure a add a little extra time for your lunch hour as it gets busy

I personally thought it was just so so. My wife had the bim bop and I had the black bean sauce noodles along with an order of steamed dumplings all for around $40 which I thought was expensive. Don't come here starving because the wait time was relatively longer than most other restaurants (they only had one waitress there working when I went).

Have been going there for about 6 months...the food is so good that I crave it but have changed the day I go...which means a different person waits on me and rings me up...had them overcharge me by $5 on my debit card and claimed it must have been a tip... I always leave a cash tip so this bothered me a little since I make a 45 minute drive to eat there... I have been back twice since the incident... can't help myself...#LoveTheFood

Best Korean food on the coast! We make the drive from Hattiesburg at least once a month. This place fills up fast, get there before lunch or you will be sitting for a while. With one waitress, she does very well keeping up with all the orders coming in.

So fabulous. Legit authentic Korean food. The outside looks shady, but the inside is warm and inviting. An older couple runs the place (him in the back, her up front). No other help, so service is not super fast. But the food! If you're craving Korean, this is the place. Pretty extensive menu at a fairly reasonable price.

Let me start with...This place has great food. The shopping center is a bit older looking but do not let this stop you from eating here. The restaurant is nice and clean on the inside and we'll worth it. I am by no means an expert at Korean food and the lady taking my order was very helpful with my meal choice. I asked to have the meal spiced up and I loved it. The kimchi was perfect and the fried dumplings knocked my socks off. I am from out of town and I can't wait to go to this place every time I am in the area. If you have never tried Korean food give this place a hard look and if you eat here you will be hooked. My wife is a picky eater and I made her go with me last time and she was an instant believer. The prices are really good for the amount of food they give you. Make sure you come hungry because you may not be able to finish your portion. I like to order a few different items and pick from all of them during my meal and take the rest home for later. The inside dining area is a bit small with about 9-10 tables. They have a large tv on the wall that has been playing sports each time I have gone. Heat place for quiet meals with small group of people or a meal for two. I would give this place a six out of five.

The owners were very kind and hard working as well. I'm a Korean food addict and this is the go-to spot to suppress any Korean food cravings

R&C is a quiet, cozy, family owned Korean restaurant that offers some of the best delicious food of South Korea. I've been going to this restaurant off and on for several years now. Everything is prepared fresh, and I have had no complaints about the quality of the food. My favorite dish is the pork bulgogi. It is prepared spicy, yet tolerable to most guests. R&C is what you'd call a "hole in the wall" restaurant. The dining area is small with about 10 tables. The food is excellent, but it comes at the cost of a hefty wait when they're busy. They run the restaurant with only one cook and server. It's practically a two man show. Like I said, the wait times can be long, but they bust their butts, work very hard, and the food is definitely worth the wait. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are huge. They serve your entree with several complimentary side dishes, as per Korean cuisine, and they include the following: fish cake, pickled radishes, pickled cucumbers, bean sprouts, kimchi, and many others. They serve canned soft drinks, sweet tea, and beer. The tea comes with free refills. This place is very popular with the military (since it's a block away from Keesler Air Force Base) and somewhat popular with the locals. Korean cuisine may seem strange at first to some, but it's definitely worth trying. I guarantee R&C won't disappoint you.

I ordered The beef raymun and got bland noodles with practically no beef ! Not worth the $8.75 . acted surprised when we said that our friend ordered it too even though she took her order . after my friend finally got her food that was the last time we saw her ! Not once did she ever come check on us or ask us if we wanted refills . we also had to go up there to get silverware and napkins . anything worth eating you are paying $15 and up .They have better places that are cheaper and have better service

The Korean dishes aren’t that bad for a small town, but it’s good enough to fill your craving. Probably my least favorite bulgogi dish I’ve ever tried. There are only 2 staff members, which means the wait will take a while. Had to wait 2 hours to get my dish, when there were only 6 other guests in the whole place. Pro: Good enough if your not picky Con: Expect long wait times

My friends and I have been eating here since 2008. The ladies who run this place are like a second family to us. They can be busy at times and the food may take a while, but it is ALWAYS worth the wait. This is the best traditional Korean food on the Coast bar none. My favorite dishes are: bulgogi, bi bim bap, kim bop, yaki man du, and gal bee. Every meal also comes with an assortment of Korean pickled and fermented sides like kim chee, fish cake, beansprouts, and radish.

Ordered The beef Ramyun wasn't bad if your cool with paying $8 bucks for the same beef flavored Ramen you get from "Walmart" You know the kind, Also for "Beef Ramyun" there was almost no beef in the dish to speak of, Lmao. But maybe i just ordered the wrong Dish? Idk. The service wasn't great either we where "Waited on" 2 time's Once to place the order & the other to get the food, No chopsticks or Utensils & i guess "No Refills 4 You!" Lol. We where stopped at the end & told next time there will be a service fee? Bc we didn't tip the "Owner", For bad service & Cheap Quality Expensive food? Lol... Anyway's here's the breakdown 5 people $8 dollar dishes we each put up $10 some how the total came to $75.00.

Normally I’ve had good experiences here. But today i went with my mom on her lunch break and ordered as soon as our waitress came to us in order to get in and out quicker since she has to be back to work. This has never been an issue before, it’s always done in a timely fashion. A table that was already there was also waiting on their food and everyone else was finishing up and leaving. They got their food and we were the only ones left still waiting after 35 minutes. A large party of about 10 comes in and sits down and we realize we need to just go ahead and get our food to go. We ask if we can do that and we are told our food was not ready and it would be another 30 minutes because this party of 10 ordered ahead. Not once were we made aware of this. Had we known, we could have left but we ended up wasting her whole lunch break waiting for food we never received. Poor service, great food. Would give one star but i know their food is very good.

My first time eating authentic Korean and I'm so glad I did. Everything was delicious! There were 5 of us and our bill was $125 which included beer so prices were reasonable. We had the fried and steamed dumplings, short ribs, Bul Go Gi and B Bim Bop. And apparently at Korean restaurants you get unlimited complimentary sides - kimchee, fish cakes, pickles, cucumbers and radishes. Adds a nice crunch to your meal. Loved the Kimchee.

Pretty good food. I had something on the back of the menus with pork in it. I asked for it medium spicy and it wasn't spicy at all. It was actually a little sweet. It's always difficult to determine what "spicy" is when it's the first time going somewhere. I will be returning and upping the heat level.

Always amazing! Come in, sit down, and chill out. Everything is made to order and it takes a little bit. There's normally only one person working the front. I promise she'll get to you as soon as she can. She's not ignoring you- she's normally just SUPER busy. Drinks come in cans with a cup of ice. Water is bottled. That's just how it is. Their Kim Bop is delicious, and the Beef Bulgogi is what I go for (spicy only.) All the little sides are delicious as well. Their Kimchi is my favorite. If you haven't been here, give it a try. Best to get in early and beat the crowd!
