Food was very good. I was disappointed though that the buffet didn't have spinach when I saw pictures on the website of spinach included in the buffet. It was really the reason I went. I asked them to bring an order on the side and I would pay for it. They brought a giant bowl and charged me more than the price of the buffet for it, and I was eating alone! If you want the spinach in the buffet you better call first!

It is a small, well kept restaurant which offers buffet style eating as well as a varied menu. The only reason for the 3 star rating is because I only had chai Masala, which was tasty. I plan to return and sample their offerings.

Best Indian food in Cleveland! If you want something truly authentic that doesn't shy away on the spiciness, this place is perfect. Amazing flavor and quality of food. The service was wonderful, also; the chef came out to speak to us after and ask us how everything was, and the waiter was lovely. Highly recommend the palak paneer, especially, and the madras lamb!

This is the BEST Indian food restaurant in Cleveland. The food is incredible, the staff is friendly (and helpful if you're not sure what a menu item is). I recommend the lunch buffet which always has the Indian staple foods that you see around. If you're doing dinner and like spicy food chicken 65 is the way to go.

If green chiles are the only spice you crave, this is the place for you. No use of authentic Indian spices like cumin, mustard seeds, coriander, red chili powder, garam masala, etc. it's ok for a fix in Hattiesburg since it's the only one in town.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I am an international student from Pakistan and I am married to an American(my husband is white, just to elaborate). We both have considerable experience with south Asian food (me being from Pakistan obviously and him living with me and my South Asian friends). we always have the same order at this restaurant. chicken tikka masala for my husband and butter chicken for me. however, last night they gave us butter chicken instead of chicken tikka masala (and that's the only curry dish we ordered). mistakes happen right? I messaged one of their employees and was told to bring the receipt and the wrong food box the next day. pretty good. that's what we did. the man (who I assume is the manager) proceeded to humiliate us, saying that our order was correct. he then embarrassed us more by asking us to basically do a blind taste test between the two. we left after this ordeal but we KNOW that we were right. I've grown up with this food, my husband's had it many times, we've been SERVED the two dishes by their staff countless times. we know the difference. owning up to your mistakes isn't hard- treating customers like discardable toys is however DISGUSTING. i feel sad because this was one of the few places in town that my husband and I could eat due to religious reasons. sigh. The food itself is not bad at all. If you're okay with potentially being given the wrong thing and then embarrassed. If my husband hadn't known me and had South Asian food before, there was no way he could tell the difference. So beware if this is your first time eating any Indian food.

Only Indian restaurant in town. I go there pretty often about 2-3 times a month. Some of the recipes can be kind of watered down but overall it has good selection for the buffet. I would recommend to go for dinner, the dishes are pretty good. I usually go for the buffet though.

Indian Delight definitely stood the test of time. Their biryanis are some of the best you’d get in Cleveland area. Seasonally, they make haleem as well (chicken and goat). It is very delicious. Very friendly staff.

I wanted one dish, for which I specified "mild heat, please." This was so hot, I couldn't taste anything and it was physically painful to eat it. Also, the naan was raw. They clearly neglect the customers who are unable to eat at the restaurant. If their sit-down customer service doesn't translate to ordering out, they shouldn't even bother.

The environment was really peaceful, neat and clean. It is near the main street, so the customers can see outside the window. Not only that, the decor was amazing with different kinds of paintings and different colors of curtains. They played the music from all over the country. Amazingly authentic Indian food. Thought we would never have a place like this in Hattiesburg. I recommend getting the Chicken Tikka Masala dish. It's around $15 - $16. They also have a buffet on Wednesday for lunch so that you can try their different curries. It's not as fresh of course but everything was really good.

Every time my wife and I come here we get great service and the lunch buffet is always the same, PERFECT! And just because it is buffet doesn't mean that the food is of lesser quality, it is just as good as the dinner time food, just mostly different options than at dinner time, which the dinner presentation is outstanding, gives you the feeling that you are dining at a 5 star restaurant in the heart of India. Service is unmatched too. A++++++++

1st time visit Placed an order of Chicken biryani for pickup during night (4.5 stars) Dont let the appearance fool you...Decor may be shabby but the Biryani isnt...Street Parking might be difficult during peak hours...Service was quick...Taste, aroma and look of Chicken biryani is good as compared to other restaurants around... Quantity excellent, Packing excellent...Would recommend to give boiled egg and salad (onions & lemon) along with Biryani... Dissappointed with my pickup during lunch hours (3 stars) Chicken Biryani was not fresh and Mirchi salan not available during lunch time... I wanted to share my experience, I have had Indian food in many places with large Indian communities in them. So I have had really good and not so good Indian food to my pallet. I must say the care and quality of the food made at this restaurant has been the best I have ever had. You can taste the love in the food. Food is made to order. there are a lot chain stores in Hattiesburg so food in this town isn't the best over all for some reason. So when found this place it is a real gem. When it comes to quality it is newer and so I worry about then changing it but, I have told them don't go changing.

I can remember having to travel for indian food. New Orleans, West Monroe, Houston, etc. Indian delight is a treasure! I simply cannot express what a delight (literally) it is to have this in Hattiesburg. The buffet is on point, and the menu is spectacular. All I can say is go now and go often!

I am a local who has regularly visited this place since it opened several years ago - due to changing kitchen personnel, the buffet has varied from tremendous at their opening, to periods of mediocrity, to wonderful again, but in the past months it has been really great! Flavorful dishes, more dishes in rotation, more creativity and layered flavors in the dishes. There are always vegetarian offerings and a small fresh salad bar in addition to the hot dishes. So very good!! For a small town in the deep south, it's a wonderful addition.

This place does not put care on food. I ordered from Uber eats and when food arrived looked like they just threw food in the box with out care. Also for Indian food, I would not recommend this. Not too many places around with Indian food, so it is definitely unique to the area. Not bad, but they have toned down the hot spices for the locals. I went there with a group of friends while I was in the area. The service was very slow. At the time, we were the only people in the restaurant, and the waitress disappeared into the back for so long. The food was just mediocre. Also, we asked for MILD food and we got medium (without telling us). When it comes to MEDIUM Indian food it makes a HUGE difference. I don't do well with spice, and neither does my friends... But even one of my friend who LOVES spicy food could NOT enjoy his chicken biryani. It was a bit of a disappointment.

I ordered chicken biryani yesterday I will post my experience I have been so hungry after seeing the reviews I ordered two chicken biryanis to go and that is the worst biryani I have ever tasted.I have ever tasted it’s very low-quality and they haven’t gave us Onions or mirchika salan. So reck less and 15$ is a big waste including everything . Friends do not prefer this restaurants biryani.

Got here for the lunch buffet and was highly disappointed. There was no one there to greet us and the place looked pretty dumpy. I knew it wasn't going to be the best atmosphere from reading reviews but the food or service did not make up for any of it. There were very limited choices in the food and it was not good! I love indian food and was excited to try this place but it was extremely bland and tasteless, chutney was extremely salty and there was pretty much no service. The guy never gave us water or anything, after were were done we had to go over to a random table and pour our water, he never took a drink order. At $10 for the buffett it was not worth it! Will not ever dine again at this hole in the wall....

We just had a really great lunch today. Buffett was really high quality with awesome service. Food was great and, if you are bringing kids like we did, it's not overly spicy but still filled with great Indian flavors. A++

The buffet is always well stocked for lunch and has been a delightful surprise to everyone that I have brought there to experience Indian food for the first time. We had been craving Indian food since our last visit and just now got around to coming back. This time we came in the evening as we heard they shut down the buffet in the evening and have the full menu that we had been hoping for. It was Amazing! that really sums it up. The food we had was right on par with all of the best Indian restaurants I have ever eaten at before. So happy we not only have an Indian restaurant in town but a great Indian restaurant in town. I came in on Wed 4/3/19. I absolutely love this restaurant. I've been coming since they opened. Lately it has began to go downhill. Today was the worse and I had to talk myself out of getting up and walking out. Nothing was ready. All the food tags were mixed up so you didnt know what you were getting. No nan available. The waiter brought me hot water. I don't know I'm pretty disgusted. I think this may be the last visit. The new staff is awful. Needs to go back to how it was.

Best, I mean Best indian food I have ever had. the butter tandori chicken is phenomenal and the Naan is the traditional and everything is authentic, down to the server. I go at lunch they have the buffet and it has a little of everything on it. Great family place and wonderful atmosphere.

This is by far the ABSOLUTE BEST food ever. I dine in for the $10 lunch buffet, or use Uber Eats, almost every day. No joke, I eat this every day. Everyone here is friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. Please try it, you won't be disappointed. The Chicken Tikka, salmon curry, aloo Gobi, okra, and chicken biryani are to die for!

I’ve beeen coming here for years and the buffet is amazing. Many places go cheap on the buffet but not them. It is the only place I’ve ever been where the tandoori chicken is crisp and tender. The curries are not heavy, instead they are delightfully spiced and lean more toward home style cooking.

I don't like Indian food. Or I should say, I didn't. As an adventurous eater, I have tried many several of times to eat Indian food over the decades. I was always disappointed in the entrees. So much spice you could never taste the ingredients. I went to Indian Delight because my SO loves Indian food. It was so delicious I told her I would go back any time she wanted. Perfectly balanced, expertly prepared. Excellent service. Highly recommended.

Major hygiene threat and filthy unregulated and unmonitored eating habits by its customers. The restaurant has a touch of Hyderabad cuisine, which i have heard is really good. Now the part where it all becomes irrelevant; The restaurant allows its customers to not get a fresh plate for refills and literally eat on top of all the food served in the buffet area. The people were eating with their hands and licking their fingers and then touching all the serving spoons. I will give the place a D- on the hygiene and someone from the food safety department should pay them a visit and warn them against a potential outbreak.

Worst experience ever. The employee at the door told us not to come in and go away (in a joking manner) we didn't know what was going on. Then we asked what she meant and she replied "please don't come in now" while waving her arms and looking towards the kitchen at what seemed to be the manager. Indian Delight was my first experience with Indian cuisine. I was very impressed with the friendly staff, wide variety of options, and delicious food! I had the Tikka Masala (chicken in a tomato based cream sauce). WOW! Delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I was on the fence about coming here again, because the last time we came, the buffet was mediocre, at best, and a lot on it was cold. I'm so glad we gave it another shot. I don't know if the ownership has changed, or what, but the staff was nice and friendly, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Anyone who loved it when they opened, and subsequently had a bad experience, really should try it again, because it's even better now.

Best Indian cuisine in South Mississippi hands down. It has a nice size buffet, so you can try different foods and Currys . Butter Chicken is the real deal everyone. Staff is super friendly as well . Definitely gets a A+ every time we've been . Drove an hour just to come eat here. It's truly an Indian Delight!

Intimate buffet with lots to offer. Food tasted great! Was there at a slow hour so food seemed to have been sitting for a while but I'm sure that's not indicative of the normal operations. Staff was friendly and attentive.

had the buffet. what was left of it. all but 4 out of 8 dishes were empty. this was an hour and a half before they closed and they were still seating people after us. we were literally scraping the hard corners of the rice dish to scrape some sauce that was left on the bottom of the tray. what was left of the food was over salted and overspiced. i would have ordered a coke had anyone asked me. server never returned to the table after dropping us some naan bread. was there for 45 minutes and no new food was brought out. had to go stand in the doorway to have my check brought to me. did i mention the flies?

Fantastic Indian food in the Cleveland area! The Paneer Tikka Masala and Muttar Paneer are two favorites, and the garlic naan is to die for! Although there is space to sit at this restaurant, a lot of people do it as take out. The serving sizes are huge so there's always leftovers for lunch!

I was here with my friends and have ordered a soup first. They took 40 minutes to serve just the soup. Poor service i have ever experienced in my life. Food is said to be indian spicy just for name sake. I was waiting for the food and the phone was just ringing and ringing and ringing and the officials do not even care to answer them. When i asked them for the reason of not answering the calls, they replied that they are busy, with a big laugh, and just rushed from my table. I had a very bad experience here. Even one star is of waste to rate it.

Absolutely wonderful! Perhaps some of the best Indian food I've ever had. A very wide variety of dishes, I had an okra dish and a cheese dish that were both very different from any other Indian dish I had ever had. The sides that come free when they seat you are also amazing and unique. Service wasn't spectacular, but it was acceptable. The menu is a little pricey (but worth it!) I had to stick to the vegetarian options that were around $12 (dinner menu), but very worth it! I would have likes to try the meats but they were a little out of my price range (~$16).

We keep one of the to go menus and rate what we ate so we can remember for the next time. I've never had the lunch buffet, but if it's anything like dinner fare it would be excellent.

We were craving for Indian food as we had been staying in Asia for 7 and half years. We are familiar with the taste of Indian food. But, having lunch buffet for Indian food. This was the first time and it was so GOOD!!! The owner showed us what kind of food they had at the buffet's corner and told us how they normally eat them. The mother made us Indian appetizer , that was so delicious. We definitely will come back to the restaurant at least once a month… haha

First off let me just say that this restaurant is amazing! If you're vegan/vegetarian, this place is a must. Just tell your waiter what your looking for, and he or she will go over all your options on the menu. The food comes out quickly, and it is absolutely amazing. So I ordered chicken tikka masala and I received butter chicken. No big deal right? They could have just said "sorry" and gave me the correct order. But no, instead the made us do a blind taste test because they thought we didn't know the difference. First off chicken tikka is made with tomatoes and not very much cream (hence the red color) butter chicken does have tomatoes in it but lots of butter and cream are added (hence the yellow color.) They swore up and down that chicken tikka masala is yellow. I know I'm white, but my wife isn't and she grew up eating these dishes and knows the difference by smell (and so can I). DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL GIVE YOU WHATEVER THEY HAVE LEFT IN THE KITCHEN AND PRETEND THAT'S WHAT YOU ORDERED!!!
