Yessssssss! This place is it! Whether you're located in Pearl or flowood, both areas are great! Staff caters to their customers and food is exceptionally great! They stay full so get there when they first open! A bit pricey! But well well worth it.

I have been to this place three times. Personally, I am not a fan of buffets and have come here with group events. There are a variety of different options so you can definitely find something to eat. It is vegetarian friendly and they have assorted pastries, ice cream and fruits for dessert. The Mississippi sushi roll is quite tasty. I don't think I would come here for a meal personally but if I had to come here with a group events I guess I wouldn't mind.

We absolutely love this place. It is one of my daughter and Is favorite buffets. It is a bit pricey at night since we do not eat alot but for someone who has a big appetite it is well worth it. The food is fresh and hot and cold as appropriate, sushi and so many choices. It is very clean and nice atmosphere.

This is the best chinese buffet around. The sushi is really good along with the other food. However, im taking 2 stars off due to the lack of crab legs and the cost of the buffet being really high. You cant just make more shrimp dishes and keep the rates so high!!!! $90 for our last ticket, ridiculous!!! Will not be going back in the evening time!!!

I have been to a lot of Chinese Restaurants, but Ichiban is the best Chinese Restaurant I have ever been to!! I tell all my friends and family, if they are going to Jackson they need to eat at Ichiban in Flowood. I live in Kosciusko, and my husband and I will drive there to eat instead of eating in Kosciusko. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. Thank you for your great food. Debbie Rosamond

Got here at 8 on a Friday. Packed house. Much of the food on the buffet was cold-lukewarm, including the soup. The food is your standard Chinese buffet selections. The website says $13.76 M-F and $22 Sat-Sun. We were charged the $22 each. I could justify that cost if the food is piping hot and I can get as many crab legs as I want, but that's not the case. With drinks and tip, we came in at $60 for 2 people. When we complained to the manager, he refused to honor the advertised price. For the money, just go to the steak house.

I would like to start off by saying the lunch buffet is actually quite good and I would recommend it. Sadly, I cannot recommend the dinner buffet under any circumstances. This is the last time my wife and I will be going here for dinner. We arrived at 7:00 PM and what was left of the food was cold, hard and sticky. We tried several items, but everything tasted old. It became embarrassing after the second plate, at which point, we waited, hoping for some fresh options to come out of the kitchen. In two hours, they replenished a single portion of one chicken dish. To my wife's disgust, the chicken was raw. It saddens me that I had to watch my wife eat a plate of pineapple and oranges for dinner. It's even sadder that I had to pay thirty bucks for it.

First time here and I was really blown away by the selection and quality of the food! Especially in their desserts and ice cream. The only problem I had during my visit was the lack of plug ins for charging your devices, so if you need to get some work done over the computer this place might not be the best. Also there was no wifi, again if you want to get productive and work on your laptop this is not the place. On the weekday the price of the buffet is very good about $13 but be careful! On the weekend the price goes almost double at 22-24 if I remember correctly, at least that's what their sign said when you walked in.

This had been one of my family's favorite places for years, but they have recently decided to take crab legs off the buffet on the weekends without reducing the price to reflect that. For $100 my family of 4 can go to one of several different restaurants and order exactly what we want, cooked fresh. The sushi here is good, but their hibachi and sushi restaurant nearby does a much better job, and now, it's cheaper to go there and get what we want prepared fresh.

I love this buffet, but make sure you come hungry! It’s not going to knock your socks off, but if you want to eat a ton of sushi and maybe some standard buffet cuisine, this is the place. It can be busy at times so pay attention to busy hours. It can also be a bit pricy on special menu nights, like when they have crab legs. But you should go, if you haven’t!

The waiter was super RUDEEE ! The end of my stay was the worst ... When we got there she just took our drink orders in a damanding tone with a mean face ... She did refill our drinks and take our plates promptly I give her that ... and i was like okay I’ll give her a good tip since she made up for it throughout the night ... (I use to be a waiter too) I payed my bill and I usually leave the tip ON the table before I leave .. she brought back my change in a little black folding book thing ... So I’m sitting and she comes back (smiling) takes one plate I still had on my table... she was ABOUT to say “Thank you .” she grabs the black book and she sees nothing in it .. Smile drops . SHE THROWS IT ON THE TABLE WIDE OPEN from a distance to where it’s super noticeable, stares at me for a brief second with a cold stare ,and leaves. I did not leave a tip anymore ... she had no manners I paid $76 for 3 people. 25 each for this type of service ? Well I’m glad they charge that bc I was not leaving a cent more for that kind of staff service. Good selection of food .. poor quality servers. I would never do that to my clients when I was a waiter bc it’s the logical thing to NOT do.

Until recently, I thought I didn't like Chinese food. This place is amazing! It has the largest variety of dishes I've seen in a buffet. The layout is brilliant. It's a large circle with another round buffet line in the center. There's literally something for everyone, I even had some shrimp with Italian seasoning. There's pizza too (not great) and various fish and chicken options. There's also fresh fruit and of course sushi. Ichiban seems very popular and was quite busy. It's pretty spacious though so wasn't crowded. The restroom was clean as well. And lastly, the staff are amazing and very helpful!

The dishes were all very tastefully presented instead of the usual steamer pans typical of must buffets. I enjoyed several dishes but my favorite was the fried rice. A great place to stop for an all you can eat experience at a reasonable price. Definitely recommend.

I see all the good reviews but I can only speak for myself & my experience here. My wife & myself ate here after going to Museum of Natural Science & High Heaven with our nieces. On a positive note my wife & nieces loved the food . But, not so much me . The food was cold & I know you don’t normally go here for a green salad but , lettuce & salad dressing all was available. I found find no worker that spoke English. I tried to explain I had received the wrong drink , they just looked at me & grinned . Finally an English speaker came by & I got my drink . I hate to be negative but when you pay a decent price for a meal I expect something halfway decent! But, no problem will try it again bc dining out always a hit & miss !

Fantastic. Lunch/weekday pricing is phenomenal, but weekend pricing is nearly doubled. Good quality, sushi is excellent and a must have. Healthy choices are fair but could be better. Fruit is always in mediocre condition/ripeness. Meats and veggies always delicious. Staff are friendly and fast.

Sometimes going to the Boat for crab legs can be to far and costly. Out of all the Chinese buffets that serve crab legs these are by far the best tasting. The guy serving was so pleasant and funny. It was Date Night for me and the Hubby, we thoroughly enjoyed. Plus we had enough points to get a discount on the ticket. Winning!!

I don't really understand the wierd aesthetic when you walk in of clutterd randomness but nevertheless, the house staff is extremely friendly. I was looking for some sushi on new years day to go and not only did they have it fresh but in great variety. Unfortunately, the quality was a bit lower than freshly made but I believe that is understandable. I'm sure it's policy but they would probably do better if they left the prepped sushi on some type stronger cooled display instead of allowing it to hit just about room temperature. I would go again but I'd probably ask the sushi guy to just whip up some fresh stuff for me. He did offer.

We drive 3 hours to eat at this restaurant which was our favorite when we lived there. We were very disappointed yesterday when we ate there. We got there right when they opened and the waitress sat us at a table I asked for a booth and was told our family of 5 wouldn't fit in a booth. I saw 2 booths close to us the we would have. Some of the food was cold and the waitress stood and watched us eat making us very uncomfortable. We will not be back.
