Fish and chips on late menu was among the best I've had - solid, just cooked cod, crispy batter, nice comeback. Had Irish curry chicken other visit that was good too. Nice beer list with interesting rotating taps, friendly atmosphere. Will be back whenever I'm in Jackson.

Hearty and delicious Irish fare and a quaint and cozy atmosphere make this a wonderful experience. The shepherd's pie and leek soup were absolutely amazing and they have a wide range of both Irish and Scotch whiskey's. A better beer selection would have gotten them five stars.

Boring. Not many ppl here. Maybe 4 others beside myself. Didn't seem "diverse" friendly. Waited almost 30 minutes before I was approached by bartender who was busy talking and having conversations with "regulars" apparently.

Ok liked it the first time, but, it turns out the servers really just dont care. Everything is great if you can get them to serve you. We came in, sat down, he brought us water and took our drink orders. 45 mins later and still nothing, walking by us constantly and serving other people. If you want good reviews you gotta care about the customer first. I dont recommend this place if you have less than 3 hours to eat or are hungry. Must be a bar first, restaurant on the side.

Excellent service! We had the Irish poutine for an appetizer- delicious! If you like cheesy goodness, then give it a try. I had the Bangers and Mash for my entree upon the recommendation of the waiter - he was spot on, DELICIOUS. The Irish sausage was perfectly seasoned, the mash and vegetables were a perfect compliment to the sausage. I was going to try the bread pudding, but was stuffed. I will definitely stop back in next I am in Jackson. Highly recommend.

Easily one of the best burgers I've ever had, server was super helpful and so was the beer. Only thing that went wrong was that I mucked up how tipping is in MS/USA and shorted the fellow by accident; so if visiting Jackson and looking for good fare this is the place to go.

Fantastic upstairs bar with reasonably priced drinks and delicious food. The staff is friendly and helpful. Smoking is allowed outside on the patio next to the door, so be prepared to walk through second-hand smoke.

I would like to say it's a dive bar, but it's more of a dump. Beware of price gouging if your not local. 7 buck beers. Thought I was back in Manhattan with those prices. Word to the wise. Don't joke with the staff there and say, "it's hotter than a meth pipe on payday". Wasn't well received.

Local staff that is chill as hell. Decent tap lineup, lute and flute, trivia, Nintendo classic, board games, large liquor selection. A place for friendly drinks with friends where you can actually carry on a conversation without having to repeat yourself 100 times. Friendly staff and even friendlier patrons. Worth the stop.

Great staff! Bartenders are friendly and they serve a great Guinness. I really like their Irish Chicken Curry, but they have many other things to choose from on the menu as well. Well worth a visit, food is not cheap but not really expensive either. I believe is is well worth the price.

Sooo glad we passed through Jackson on our way back to TX and got to stop here. We came at 3pm, so it was slow and our waiter was so attentive and made great menu recommendations. The curry, ruben on rye, and 'sausage & mash' were absolutely fantastic. You can tell the cook put careful attention into the food. He also cooked it in no time. Would love to come back here next time at night to hear the live music. Super cozy/cool, hole-in-the wall environment.

Great food, and an excellent choice in liquors and beers. It's underrated as a restaurant, and seen mostly as a bar. Plenty of games and usually a console to play while you wait for the food to cook and Celtic items decorating the rooms.

Met up with a few foodies today for lunch at Fenians! I got the Thursday special, hamburger steak with mash potatoes. The mashed potatoes was creamy, just the right amount of butter. Everyone at the table got to try my mash and loved it! This was my first time having mash and slightly cooked kale, I really enjoyed the texture combo! I think I want my mash with kale from now on. The hamburger steak was nicely seasoned with a hint of sweetness from the caramelized onions. I didn't know that I can request my hamburger steak to be cooked medium, so it was made well done and a hair tough, but now I know. The technique on how to make a scotch egg is a tad tricky to get right. They got that baby down. Yolk was still runny, had just the right amount of sausage, fried crispy without overcooking the yolk, but thoroughly cooking the sausage. It's like breakfast in one bite! The ladies that ordered the curry really enjoyed it, I got to try some, and it was good. It had some Indian spices in it, but very faint. I didn't taste any heat, but I have no sense when it comes to spicy, the ladies said it was mild. We all got to try the fish n chips. Cod was fresh, the fry on the fish and chips were spot on, but just needed a hint of salt.

Slowly becoming my favorite bar in Jackson. Always a good diverse crowd of people. Always something happing entertainment wise. The food is hands down some of the best in town. Drink selection is good. Service is great everyone that works in this bar is the best. Gets a little crowded and loud on the weekends. So it just depends on the mood you’re in. But if you’ve never had the food. You’re missing out real bad. Do it. I wish I could give it 10 stars.

Dirty and dark, no one greeted us. Sat at dirty table and the waiter walked by and tossed stained menus at us. He didn't bother to say Hi or ask about drinks. After looking over the menu covered in food, we got up and left. We were very uncomfortable and felt like they didn't want us there.

It's a nice little Irish pub. On Wednesday they have a fun trivia night that starts around 7:30pm that's worth going to with a small group. The only issue is parking -- if you're there for the first time, the parking lot is right behind the place in a big lot.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I was in Jackson for a week for work. I decided to go in and check out the bar. Had a decent time I suppose, however I ordered and ate a burger and I have had uncontrolled diarrhea and vomiting for the entire day and it's still on going. Definitely food poisoning and I feel like I want to die. I hadn't had anything else to eat, so it is without doubt from this place. I'm omw to the ER now. I had to drive for 5+ hours to get home while being more sick than I have ever been in my life. Please avoid this place. It's obviously unclean with terrible food handling practices.
