Went with friends for breakfast and had high hopes. Pancakes were tough and chewy. If you can't have nuts, forget the syrup. Another time had omelette...no flavor. Cheese on top, ham in the fold, disappointing. Love their ribeye, loaded potato, but need help with breakfast.

My first and last time here. The hostess was polite, but either doesn't have a seating chart or doesn't know how to use it, because customers are left standing at the desk while she wanders the restaurant looking for a table. Next our server was polite and prompt with our drinks and order, but it went downhill from there. Having worked in a restaurant, when food is slow I tend to blame it on the kitchen not the server. However, when I see another server bring food to multiple tables (some seated after us) and we hadn't even gotten our appetizer after 20 mins. I knew it was a service issue. After some prompting our server brought the cheesy crab bread(the one of two highlights from our meal). A few minutes later, the busy waitress working for her money actually brought our meals to the table(Thank You Courtney, you were the other highlight of our time there). I ordered the crawfish, crabcake pasta with creole cream sauce. What I expected was pasta w/ crawfish tossed in a creole sauce topped with a crispy crabcake. What I got was crawfish and broken up crabcake stirred in creole seasoned melted cream cheese (I can't in good conscience call it a sauce). My husband's redfish was cooked properly, but was over salted and over sauced. This experience did not live up to this restaurant's reputation.

The food tasted delicious and the service was excellent. Good atmosphere. Our group met here for lunch and even though there were about ten of us and it was a busy Sunday afternoon, we didn't experience any delays with our food and the servers didn't seem to have any trouble keeping up with us. Would definitely recommend if you are in the Hattiesburg area!

Worst service ever! I have been a server for many years before my current career.. I literally watched an outside employee walk into the bar with gym clothes on and reach her nasty hands into the olives, lemons, limes... and make herself happy.. this is totally disgusting! My pasta was soo thick that I could not even distinguish the noodles from the sauce... SMh.. I will not be visiting again!

Overpriced. Spent 60 dollars for an overcooked steak, didnt get what my wife ordered (shrimp only) and they threw fish in with hardly any shrimp. Took about an hour to get our food and the short haired waitress hardly came by. We ate here a couple years ago and it was great but it was horrible last night. Once again, overpriced.

Chesterfield’s has a very modern, clean atmosphere that is great for any occasion. The bar area has plenty of screens for watching games. the staff are very friendly and don’t let your drink go empty. The cheesy crab bread is very fresh and filling. The Hattiesburger is packed with flavor and will definitely leave most bursting at the seams. The shrimp and grits are a very smooth and mellow side.

High quality food but during the entire meal I saw the waitress 2 or 3 times, and we where a large group of 15 or more. In all the service was horrible and I find it sad. The environment was great but as I said they. I really was disappointed and advise something more preffered like patio 44.

My brother and his wife invited all their family to Brunch and all he wanted was a cup of coffee and the waitress wouldn't give him a cup of coffee. And she was rude. They even paid the bill for the whole family.

I really enjoyed the seafood! I got a crabcake and crawfish pasta. Being from Louisiana I have rather specific standards of flavor. They met my expectations! We did have a weird service problem but since we weren't in a rush we weren't bothered. Planning to go back and experience more of the menu!

Celebrated our Christmas party with co-workers here and we sure had fun! We were accommodated accordingly. The staff are friendly and our server is on point! We didn't have to wait long for our food either even if our party is big. The food tastes great, so as their drinks. Will surely recommend this place.

Great food incredibly busy on Sunday. Long wait. Friendly staff. The kitchen was crazy slow. It was also St Patties Day. I will try it again on a slower day!!! Our day was still special!!! They really did do everything they could to accommodate. Location is perfect. Bar was Fabulous!!!!!

I really like wine Wednesdays. They have a band on the patio playing oldie type music. Their open face prime rib sandwich is nothing but awesome! If I did not have the money for one, I think I would go panhandle until I had enough! Medium rare. Woof! Deliciousness!!

Had to wait to be seated as no one was at the front desk for several minutes after I arrived. When I indicated that I was a party of one, the host made it his business to say, Just you? That was unnecessary. He looked at his watch before he grabbed a menu and told me to follow him. When I was looking at the menu, he checked his watch again. I asked if they were about to closer and he said they were. Now, it was only about 7:30 p.m. I felt like he was rushed. And I guess he communicated that to the kitchen because my burger which wasn't prepared the way I had ordered it (no surprise, really, because he didn't write it down) was mostly raw. And he was nowhere in sight. I nibbled around the edges, but just couldn't eat that raw part. The fries tasted like old seafood. I guess they cook them in the same oil as the seafood and don't change the oil often. I won't make this mistake again, which is sad, really, because there are several interesting-looking dishes on the menu.

First time every eating here and I must say, the food was great, customer service was friendly. The wait time on the food was a bit longer than any other restaurant with a no wait seating. But, the food was worth the wait. Try the baked potato with crawfish and shrimp. Awesome

For the last three weeks straight, my small group that consisted of about 10- 12 people have been dining in at Chesterfields on Wednesdays for the convenience of half priced appetizers when sitting in the bar area. Each time at least one of our children were present. This time my 7month old baby was the only child present. We were all allowed to be seated, place drink orders, and at least two ppl placed an order for food.The waiter tells us that we are not allowed to sit in the bar “area” ( bc we were not directly at the bar) with children. I asked when did the rules change because we had been coming in for 3 weeks consecutively. After asking to speak to the manager, ( which was very rude) she told us “ I am telling you now, that the rules have changed as of Sunday”. We had no problem with relocating bc all of us were willing. We asked her how would we have known that these were the rules prior to coming? We were allowed to be seated and to place orders. There were no signs, nobody informed us prior. I asked her if we moved, would they honor the half-priced appetizers?She was absolutely not willing to compromise or make things right with the paying customers. On the patio, ( behind the bar area) there several children at the table with alcohol. As a reminder this is a small group Christian Small group, no one was drinking at our table. The manager was very unprofessional and spoke to us in a degrading manner. My 7 month old definitely would not have known if others were drinking around us! I do not recommend this place!

Exceptional service...our waitress was awesome with my 1 year old. She brought out crackers without being asked, to soothe him over until our food was ready. She visited our table frequently bringing napkins, refills and checking in. Food was awesome and the prices were great! 2 adult lunches and a child lunch was only $30. Portion sizes were so large, I couldnt finish it all. We asked for our drinks to go and we were given large plastic reusable cups with Chesterfield logo and info on the front. Would definitely recommend this place!

It has been years since I have visited this restaurant. My expectations were very high, which is why I'm only giving 3 stars. The hosts were very friendly. Our waitress; however, needs to be trained on how to interact with customers better. The burger was excellent, but the fries were definitely frozen and... gross.

A reliable favorite when I am in the area. I had a salad that was so big I ate the other half for dinner. Others in my group had steals and fried shrimp and everyone cleaned their plates -guys! Waitstaff is friendly and as we were having a business lunch they also gave us needed space and privacy without neglecting us.

Super long wait for Mother’s Day but that was expected. There was plenty of waiting space for the crowd, the staff was very efficient with the seating process. Our waitress was so kind & went above and beyond. The food was absolutely delicious (we had brunch) and there was plenty, we took leftovers. The hot wings didn’t come pre-dipped in the buffalo sauce so if you need that be sure to ask when you order!

This place is amazing! Wonderful menu selections and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The environment is well set for a romantic evening or a fun night out with friends. They have a sports bar area up front with the booths in the back. Food was amazing
