Absolutely delicious, worth a visit or ten. Really friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The place was packed, and everyone seemed to be stuffing their faces with the biggest smiles. The do have live music, a group was about to go on just as we were leaving. Highly recommend this place, I certainly will go again.

Stopped in at the Blue Canoe after hearing it had Tupelo’s best tap beer selection. We were not disappointed! Not only was the food and drink top notch, but the bartender and guests around us were very personable and made us feel welcomed to Tupelo. The blueberry donut bread pudding was to die for, and their house burger with the kitchen sink was fabulous!! And the deep fried black eyed peas appetizer... SO GOOD. If I’m ever back in town, there’s one place I’ll go. So happy we were recommended to go!

Great place, great food, atmosphere, beer and staff. As a frequent traveler, I got into town late at night stopped in for a beer, stayed for two, and reluctantly had to leave for a big day the next day. I went back the next night I had an even better experience, got to talk with Adam, and wished I could’ve been around for some live music. Next time I’m in northern Mississippi, I will go out of my way to swing by. Thank you

Great little restaurant, menu is eclectic and interesting, and surely has something for everyone. 47 beer taps plus more in bottles, so again, if you can't find something you like it's probably you, not them. Service was a little slow, but the place was hopping as it so often is. The tight, tiny parking lot is probably the biggest negative, but it's worth walking a bit if needed.

Could not love this place more. Unique drink and food choices such as fried black eye peas with chutney and Cinnamon Toast Crunch shots. Live music was top notch folk meets rock at its best. Visit this place if you are seeking delicious, authentic options and unpretentious entertainment. The Blue Canoe doesn't try to be anything that it is not.

Great food, awesome craft beer selection. We came early (6:45pm) with our 2 yr old and they were very accommodating. No high chairs, but definitely kid friendly in the early evening. We left by 8pm, I'd probably not stay too much later with a kid, as it becomes more of a bar after that. Cornbread waffle was insanely tasty, and the southern salad was packed with toppings. Hubby had the smash burger and he said it's the best burger he's ever had. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town.

Coming home from a road trip, we wanted to stop for an early dinner before the last few hours of the drive. Found Blue Canoe via a search for local restaurants and thought it sounded fun and quirky. We were not disappointed! What we intended to be a quick stop turned into a two hour experience! Service was amazing and we could have gotten out quickly, but we enjoyed the atmosphere so much we just stayed a while! They were preparing for live music that evening which we much regretted not getting to stay for. Food was delicious. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. We've already planned to stop here again the next time we are on the road!

On a recent weekend trip to Tupelo, we ended our evening at the Blue Canoe. Definitely a funky place with really good live music. Next time we visit, we plan to eat there as the menu looked really interesting. The crowd and staff were really friendly (to a couple of yankees) and I must say I had the best IPA I ever drank.

This used to be our favorite place in Tueplo. When we first moved here 4 years ago we went here on a whim and were blown away. Unfortunately, the quality has diminished and it makes me so sad! The crab "sandwich" is absolutely depressing. I hope they bring back their old ways because we used to love this place and know what that are capable of.

We sat close to stage and the air was hitting us pretty good. I would have preferred a different spot to sit because our food got cold.

Our group of four stopped in yesterday for lunch and a couple of beers, our first time at Blue Canoe. We sat outside, our server was Tammy. Tammy did a great job of welcoming us and explaining here knowledge of the menu. The food was fantastic, timely and hot and the beers were cold. If we were staying in the area longer we would definitely return and sit it in Tammy's section, she is a great server.

The food is fantastic. They have duck quesadilla's and a crawfish and fried avocado appetizer that's to die for. The draft beer selection is huge and the prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very cool. They also have live bands on some nights. I definitely recommend.

This coming from a foosie! Others in our group had the whiskey shrimp and BC Burger and they loved theirs as well, but really wanted what I had since it was so good! Amazing band, great employees. I felt very welcomed. Wish I could see these (Funkaholics) guys in Atlanta. The place was clean, food good. Get there early or after 9pm to get a space at the bar. It has a great outdoor area but it doesn't pipe the live music outside. Lots of room but not too many seats, so be prepared to stand and not feel crowded. They could probably stuff another 20 seats in here but this ain't Atlanta. I had a great time. Four stars only because I've only been here one night.

Just got back from a delicious meal at Blue Canoe. Our server was energetic and helpful in pointing out menu yummies, and, it was Happy Hour Wednesday ALL day! Whats not to love?! We ordered the blackened shrimp tacos with Mexican street corn, and the Salad of the South. With an ice cold Guiness, and a Ruby something or other, made with coconut rum, our meal was delish! We will definitely be back!

She also had a cocktail and I had a local beer which I always try to do when we go to an area, had the Yazoo hefeweizen for out entrees I got the smash Burger with bacon and two types of cheeses and grilled onions and my word was it tasty, the lady had pork and greens and for dessert we had the Blueberry donut bread pudding which was ridiculously good. Give this place a try they have something for all.

When you think Local in Tupelo you have to include Blue Canoe!!! A bar that has GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, EXCELLENT BAR TENDING, AND GREAT MUSIC. If you happen to be there when it's a live band playing then you're in for a treat. Crack Dip fries are must have. This place don't have the pre made patties....these are good old fashioned grandma Pattie burgers. They have an enormous amount of beer selection too. Don't dare go to Tupelo without giving them a try.

Great local spot. Crack dipped fries is a must!! Awesome staff. They have some of the best live bands come through and you will lose yourself in the music, conversations, and libations. Be sure to get there early on weekends to grab a bite and a seat as they get packed. They do have a large patio so its also great for groups.

Walked in and went to the bar to get a drink. It's a Friday night the crowd is decent. The bartender that didn't even greet me was VERY RUDE! I believe her name was Sesame. I will NOT be tipping because of how bad her attitude was. I just didn't understand what her issue was. Apart of being a bartender is having good customer service and she definitely lacks that. She should not be behind the bar maybe better in the kitchen where she doesn't have to interact with customers. Crack fries are amazing as always. Music was awesome.

What a fantastic place! We stopped in Tupelo on our way to Memphis for a day and a half and we made 3 visits to the Blue Canoe while we were there! We even went twice in one day, Lol! It's such a fun place with live music every night. They literally have 100s of beers on tap (Ghost in the machine was my personal fave!). My favorite part.....the Memphis dry rub wings. I get wings everywhere I go and these were hands down the BEST I've ever had! The waitresses were all really friendly too. Highly recommend this place and hope that I'm back again someday!

One of the best places to eat in Tupelo. They always have unique specials as well as their usual favorite menu items and live music. It's small inside and the parking is limited. They sometimes charge a cover after 8 if they are having music so get their earlier if you are just dining. Extensive beer menu.

My wife and I were in town for the state swim meet and came here for a late dinner. Great atmosphere. The two bartenders were incredibly friendly, as we're the other folks sitting at the bar who I'm guessing we're also locals. And on top of that, the food was legit and reasonably priced. If we hadn't been up some 6am, and my wife not pregnant, we'd have loved to stay longer to keep drinking and mingling.

Loved the ambiance of this place. The food was yummy and had large portion sizes. Ordered the Philly steak fries, house burger (with all you can add toppings), and the blueberry donut pudding. I highly recommend the blueberry donut pudding, baked in a cup it stayed warm till the last bite. The top was crusty and crunchy with chocolate syrup and vanilla ice-cream, and the bottom was a ooey-gooey heaven. The burger was very flavorful (though the patties were not as juicy), and came with fried egg topping which was an entertaining mix of flavors. Liked the overall flavor blend. We sat at the bar and the serving staff was very friendly and hospitable. Place is very busy on evenings so expect some wait.

I don't understand this place. The food and atmosphere are completely disconnected. It's like a back country bar hired a chef. Very small and loud. The live music area takes up half the room. All this said, the place was packed with happy people so they're doing something a lot of people like. Just not my cup of tea.
