Last trip their I Ordered a steak and it took them 3 trys and then I have up and passes on eating there. I generally like to eat my supper with the others at the table. Hostess was rude and prices not worth what you get. So I'm being generous with 3 stars.

Other than a small bump in the road of dinner, this place is by far the best place we have eaten. The shrimp is best we've had. I ordered the grilled seafood plate. The fish, the shrimp, the scallops....just amazing. I had a small incident during dinner but the staff was amazing and helped me. We will definitely be coming back for more. Wonderful food.

Came here tonight for the first time to try because we heard great things and very disappointed . We were told outdoor dining was a 15 minute wait, which it was. We were seated and told they had to go find a server! 14 minutes later and servers just walked by us numerous times not uttering a word. After a total of about 30 minutes of wasted time we walked next door to trapanis and got outdoor seating and drink and food orders in in 6 minutes! Horrible customer service , don't think we'll be back to try this again.

Just had an awesome dinner, Kayla my server was awesome she knows her menu very well and recommended the Soy Ginger Glazed Ahi Tuna which was delicious. This place is great for dates it has a romantic atmosphere it is also great if you just want to enjoy dinner by yourself due to the relaxing atmosphere.

Pretty good happy hour, especially the half price oysters. Where else can you get 6 stuffed oysters for $5? But you must sit at the bar for this awesome deal. And now that the balcony is open it's even better. We quit going to this place a while back but the new management seems to be working.

Amazing food and great service. I had the fettuccine north beach and it was amazing. My girlfriend had the Cajun chicken Alfredo which was also delicious. The only complaint I have is that when walking in there was no hostess in site and we waited around 10 minutes before she greeted us.

Stopped in for a "snack" 30 mins before they closed. Never once did they make us feel rushed, which says a lot about a restaurant. We ended up getting the Oysters Rockefeller and the Grilled Seafood Platter. The platter came with a choice of soup or salad and we got the Gumbo which was awesome. The scallops and oysters on the grilled platter was my favorite part of everything! The scallops were cooked perfectly! Thanks for the great food and friendly service!

This is a friendly and welcoming place, with the hum of conversation not so loud that you can't talk across your table. We were served by Jade, who was attentive and pleasant. Food was good at the price. Would recommend 200 North Beach for an enjoyable dinner.

Half off oysters during happy hour. I paid 8 bucks for a dozen deliciously fresh raw oysters! The "oysters north beach"were also sooo good!! A must-visit for oyster lovers!!

The atmosphere and employees are nice and welcoming. The oysters Rockefeller were on point! So good. The duck pizza was pretty tasty but the fried green tomatoes were lacking. For one they were on the cold side and pretty flavorless although the crab that topped them was decent.

We had a party of six for dinner and very much enjoyed the appetizers and dinner. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. The special was grilled pompano and four of us found it well presented and delicious. The chargrilled oysters are a treat and not to be missed. Desserts were just right size (not too much) and two were perfect for our party of six. We will be back next time we’re in Bay St Louis! Urban Cowgill August 2018

I got food poisoning 3 out of 4 times 4 years ago and decided not to go to this restaurant one more time. Yesterday, I had work colleagues visiting out of town and they wanted to eat there. I decided to give this restaurant another chance and went along. The service was despicable and the food was terrible once again. I ordered fried shrimp and French fries. The French fries were burnt. I asked for new. One other person had ordered the same dish and 10 minutes later, her's arrived the French fries were burnt. I will write additional details in trip advisor if you need to know more horrible details.

As a seafood newbie, I am quite overwhelmed by some of the options, and was looking for fresh local choices. I went for a seafood platter and had oysters for the first time. It also had scallops, trout, and the most amazing "Royal Red" shrimp. So much food... The wife got the portabello chicken on polenta. Really nice. Great service. I do wish they would have had a bit more diverse beer selection, but I found a local one that was fine enough. Indoors was beautiful, but sitting outdoors in the breeze was delightful. Could only imagine on weekends that the open air bar across the street might get raucous, but it was quiet during the week. Nice local waiter that was patient with all of our questions. Good visit.

It was mine and my husband's 24th Anniversary dinner date. We were looking for some of our good ole Southern Coastal meals such as Steak and seafood. This place surpassed our expectations in almost all aspects . The proportions were above average. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. The environment was friendly and cozy. We both agreed we most definitely will be back!

I will try to be brief. Cocktail and salad came almost simultaneously. Finished salad but only 1/3 of cocktail and dinner was served. It said "crab puttanesca". Does the chef not know puttanesca is a sauce?? I finally got server's attention and asked for wine. It came in a chipped glass with 2 bites of dinner left. And then the server asked if I wanted dessert..no menu to look at. I told him I did not know what that was. He said, "You don't know what DESSERT IS?". Stick a fork in me. I am SO done.

This is by far the best restaurant on the coast, my absolute favorite. The food is phenomenal as well as the service. You won't find better of either anywhere else. The prices are great and the atmosphere makes for an awesome experience each and every time you visit.

We just went for a light supper, and we each had the gumbo and a salad. The winter harvest salad is my new favorite. It was a perfectly balanced combination of flavors. The gumbo was good too (and I’m really picky about gumbo). Our waiter was very attentive and polite. We will be going back again. Thanks for a great dining experience.

I have been a frequent customer of this restaurant over the past 5 years and have always had great experiences, but the weekend of Mardi Gras it just wasn't the same. Even the decor was a bit different, it had lost all of the quaint little touches. Don't get me wrong, the server was excellent, the food was okay, but the little changes I found unsettling, like my friend having to pay $2.00 for a tiny, and I do mean tiny, bottle of coke with no refill. Lucky for me I had iced tea. Found out there was a new owner as we were leaving. Explains it all. I feel sad as this was once my favorite restaurant in the bay. Not any more.

Visting from out of town, expecting a great dinner. Beautiful location and atmosphere. The appetizers and entrees were served at the same time, entrees were overcooked and cold. Charged us for drink we did not get. We sent back 70 percent of our food uneaten. Ms Anne, the owner, came to address our concerns, inappropriately badmouthed her staff in front of us, fired the waitress on the spot even though it was the kitchen's fault and discounted the bill 15 percent. No southern hospitality served here. RUN AWAY

Great drinks. Had a martini. My friend drank a Long Island Iced Tea. Wow! Very potent drinks. Had some of the spinach nachos! Unusual and worked for us. Had those with homemade chips. I had clam chowder which was more like a bisque -- rich and creamy. I had the egg plant parmasagn and was super-hot with a light, crunch coating. A small side of pasta. My friend had the crawfish claws for her entree. A memorable meal for sure. One problem: We had two boxes of food left and they bagged them for us, but I guess we lost them in transit. Can't find that bag anywhere. I had plans for those leftovers. I think it was the potent drinks that made us lose them.

Yesterday evening was our first time. The 8 year old ordered pizza, the 21 year old a veggie burger and I Beef Wellington. The girls enjoyed their meals. I was disappointed that the Beef Wellington was made with roast vice beef tenderloin. (The price should reflect the inexpensive cut of meat.). Nonetheless, it was delicious, tender and very moist. Service was a bit slow. The young man was very pleasant considering how busy it was.

We are New York foodies who visited Bay St Louis for 2 nights. We ate at the 3 restaurants that we were told were the best in town. North Beach was by far the best. Our 5-star rating is based on the comparable places in town. If this was up against the best in Nola, NY or Chicago, I would give it 3 stars. I do recommend it and don't think it will disappoint.

North Beach in Bay St. Louis has WONDERFUL Bread Pudding. It says it is a white chocolate sauce which I was leery of but it was more of a creamy butter sauce. Oh my goodness, so good. The times I have been there and I order a cosmo, it is always perfect. They have a good beer selection. The food is very good. The atmosphere is nice but an open room so a little loud. They have an upstairs area with access to the balcony for groups which is very nice and full of atmosphere. There is also have patio seating in the front of the restaurant. I always enjoy meeting friends at North Beach!
