It reminds me of my grandma's house. The food is authentic home-cooked, the portions are generous, staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is peaceful. I'm guessing game that there are a lot of regular customers because servers were talking to them like they were neighbors. Highly recommended. Forgot to take pictures of food, but presentation was well done.

Have loved this place for years, since it was Keith's Kettle. I think my only issue would be their breakfast buffet. Wish there was some variety now and then. Like add pancakes, other pastries etc. Maybe flavored syrup also, not just maple. Food is very good and reasonable price!

Me and my boyfriend are here august 30th, 2019 and the food was absolutely delicious but the service was absolutely slow than to top it off we had both bordered chicken tenders and the menu states they are served with the bbq sauce or creamy ranch and we both got bbq sauce, when we got the bill we were charged for both of the sauces. We also got a piece of pie with ice cream and when it got to our table there was a hair in the ice cream. They were supposed to remove the pie from the bill but they did not. Will not return due to sketchy service.

A "Ma & Pa Place" very much worth patronizing. A lot of home-made and tastes like it. Support the independents so they don't all vanish. I always try to stop on my weekly trips to St. Cloud.

Been here for breakfast and dinner. Dinner is solid, nothing special but won't disappoint. Breakfast was amazing - perfect portions, food was so tasty, and lots of options - the buffet looked good too, although we didnt try it.

I have been visiting the Kettle for many years and have never been disappointed. Food is really good, very reasonably priced and the people are as friendly as it gets. If I'm traveling north I add time to stop and eat. I highly recommend The Kettle if you like a casual, family oriented and friendly place for a meal. You won't be disappointed!

First visit, outstanding tasting omlette and hash browns! Had Popeye omlette (no meat) with rich hollandaise sauce, wow! Good!! Hash browns had a lot of flavor, really good!! Pancakes were fine, not tasty, but acceptable, Perkins restaurant pancakes have better flavor. Meal was identically priced (and size portioned) to Perkins same meal. Perkins gives 3 pancakes, The Kettle gives 2, but they're quite large in size so about equal amount overall. The Kettle pancake syrup appeared to be light or sugar-free, I definitely didn't like that, should always be a customer's choice for light version, and not the only choice. The Kettle restaurant has terrific atmosphere, very old fashioned small town America feel! Staff was outstanding! Friendly! Happy! Fast service! Really great little restaurant, loved it! I already want that omlette & hash browns again!!! So tasty!

The Kettle is phenomenal. Passing through, my wife and I needed a lite breakfast. We decided to split a biscuit and gravy order. We were surprised to find the waitress separated the order on to two plates ... an egg, a biscuit, and hash browns on each plate. The sausage gravy is awesome. It really is the best I've ever had. And fast pleasant service makes the experience nothing but completely enjoyable.

Had the father's day brunch, it was not good. The pastries and rolls are not homemade like advertised. The ribs tasted like they were bad before they were cooked. The smoked salmon was so salty you couldn't eat it. Everything else was Ok at best!

Very good food. Had the chicken fried steak and fries. Wish I got the mashed potatoes because my brother had me try his and they were awesome. Wish they had thousand island dressing on the salad bar. Also the bread pudding was a bit dense. Tasted great but still prefer Famous Dave's bread pudding.

Nice little family restaurant next to the Petro Truck Stop. I actually found it by accident walking to settle for Dairy Queen which is in view of the truck stop. I had the breakfast buffet (It was Sunday) and I loved the atmosphere. The wait staff seemed to personally know their customers and all the workers appeared engaged in making sure everyone was taken care of. The buffet was a bit small from what I'm used too, but everything served/offered was very good. Was disappointed that there weren't any grits but also realized I may be in "what's a grit" country. Will definitely return my next time through and if you're looking for a nice friendly good food place, I highly recommend The Kettle.

The hours are confusing, sometimes they are open, sometimes not- even during mealtimes. The breakfast food is excellent, but on my few experiences with the dinner food, lacking. I would try the Truck Stop,Nelson Brothers, first.

I love this place but I'm not able to get there very often. My husband and I both had soup and breadsticks for our lunch. I had the chicken corn chowder and he had vegetable beef. Both soups were homemade and delicious. The portions were large and neither of us could finish them. I have never either had a bad meal or something I didn't like.

This is a nice little out-of-the-way restaurant Cafe. Forget about the Clearwater stop that place is sitting on its laurels. come a half a block to the East and you'll enjoy some of the best food in Clearwater.

Service was good. The kids had breakfast food, which they said was tasty. Wife and I had sandwiches with fries for her and tots for me. I had the ultimate porker, which is featured in the menu. I was not blown away by it, though. Problem was the oil used to fry the tenderloin cutlet (and fries, and fish, and everything else). The oil had acquired multiple tastes from the various items fried in it, and that unfortunately carried over into all of the food. My wife concurred and left most of her fries on the plate.

I was a bit concerned when Keith moved on to a well-deserved retirement; the legacy is being carried on! Rose is an terrific server, the food is consistently good. The liver with bacon and onions was exceptional as was the hot beef sandwich. And we always have to have a slice of pie!

The server and the service was excellent. Prices are very fair. I had soup and salad bar. Avoid the French onion soup, and you'll probably be okay. The salad bar was okay. My wife's ribs were great, but the sides were just fair.
