I have been here many times for lunch. The only time I would say it is too busy would be Sundays. Most any other day is fine. Not too long a wait for a table. Pretty good although generic Chinese buffet.

Absolutely wonderful. I love the fact that the food was constantly refreshed. The variety was amazing. You could have your food prepared is you weighted. Or you could select from prepared items. Buffet included Sushi, fish, seafood, salads, meats, American ( pizza, Mac and cheese,etc.) Traditional Asian American fare, and traditional Asian selections and deserts. Beverages are included with the price of the buffet.

Awesome selection, service was outstanding, but the food was mediocre. Waited for 10+ minutes for the grill and there was only one person cooking one meal at a time! I was still 7-10 people back so I unfortunately had to bail on it. Egg rolls are outstanding, was not overly impressed with anything else they offered there. Sushi was fresh but not very flavorful. Price reflects the selection, but not necessarily the quality. You are absolutely paying for options over quality.

Been here 3 times. First time I would have gave it 5 stars. Second time I would have given it 2 stars. This third time was ok, but for $18 I think the crawfish shouldn't be to salty and mushy. Sushi seemed at least an hour old with nothing new being made. Salad bar looked runned though, with mushy shrimp there too. So you may get 5 star you may get 2, roll the dice.

The fried rice was obese and slimy. Alot of the food was overcooked and tough to eat. Also it seems like they changed brands and recipes from when they first opened. The employees are rude and very unhelpful with questions and i didn't get a refill on my drink till the end of my meal. My last visit there were 6 employees all sitting behind my family eating while my family needed drink refills my waiter was sitting behind us eating as well. I thought it was going to be different but this will definitely be my last time eating at this establishment.

I use to love this place, however the last few times my family and I ate here the experience has been horrible. The food quality is inconsistent. The bussers don’t clear plates, and rarely refill drinks. I waited almost a half hour for a refill. I asked one of the staff passing by. He looked right at me, and just kept walking away. I got up and asked him for a refill. He rudely replied “You can go get it yourself.” I went to complain about his rude and unprofessional behavior. They had no one in charge, and they told me it’s not his section. To top it off that upset the staff and they rudely told my wife not to set plates on empty tables. And argued with her when we told them they weren’t clearing our table. This place has no concept of good customer service. All of this could of been avoided with teamwork and integrity on the staffs end. Needless to say, you lost regular customers over lack of professionalism Super Moon. We are not returning until these issues are resolved.

Excellent Buffet for WIDE variety of Chinese food. They have a magnolia BBQ Grill where you choose all the stuff you want in the dish and the grill it up for you. Don't go too early as food was not all served by 11am. Large facility good for family lunch and dinner.

Hands down the best Asian buffet in the Twin Cities. A great variety of food choices, real and authentic foods included. Sushi, chicken, lychee, a vast salad bar, and gigantic dessert bar with ice cream, cream puffs and more. On top of this, they have some of the best Mongolian barbecue that you can find, as well as dim sum options. The service is great as well, never waiting on new water or plates to be taken. A bit pricey but it's definitely worth it.

One of the larger Chinese buffets in the cities with plenty of varieties to choose from. I've been coming here for many years, and you always get what you're gonna expect. Very few to close to no authentic Chinese options here, but has has a pretty impressive sushi lineup. It is somewhat on the more pricier side of buffets, but with the vast amount of choices and freshness, it's very worth it. You can find coupons online to knock off $1 for lunch to make it a bit more justifiable. I believe separate coupons exists for dinner as well, but not sure how much those coupons would know the price down. By far my favorite thing here is the Mongolian Grill. You can choose whatever cold / frozen ingredients on the table, and they'll cook it on a round cast-iron surface fresh from the ingredients you've chosen. WHt bugs me is the long line you'd often have to wait for your food to be cooked as there is only one active grill at all times and one cook doing this. When lines are long, you could be waiting for a very long time, so I sometimes skip it and get disappointed. Should have two grills, or have two cooks working at the same time.

Giving this place 5 stars for the value. The food was all fresh and tasted good. We went for lunch and it was a pay at the door set up. I think it was like $12/person. Made me question the food at first but there was no need for concern. It made for a very efficient lunch visit not having to wait around for the check. There was a hibachi line, sushi, and the typical Chinese buffet dishes. The hibachi was really good but took a bit of time. The sushi was good but not all that different between rolls. I'd go back for lunch

Always a great environment and setting. Food is in line with most asian cuisine restaurants. Bathrooms are very clean and brand new. Price wise is great for a buffet. Staff is quiet and leaves you alone to go back and forth as you please but are quick to clean the table of empty plates.

Beware! Went home hungry! Food was horrible! Couldn’t even puncture the coconut chicken with my fork it was so hard. General Tao chicken was a clump as big as a softball! My son’s favorite restaurants are Chinese buffets. However, he even said his school food was better than this restaurant. We tried so many foods hoping to find something to fill up on. I felt bad sending so much food to the garbage. It reminded me of the scary food you will find in China where they will serve every part of every animal and serve it in a sauce to cover it up the taste.

If you go to super moon buffet hungry plan on leaving on a appliance moving dolly as you are going to leave beyond full if try to sample all of their amazingly awesome selections especially the crab legs and the Mongolian grille. Super Moon even offers a ond of a kind salad bar that is bigger and better then any other asian buffet salad bar in Minnesota. There wasn't any disappointing food for us at this buffet... Keep up the great service, food and hospitality super moon.

Super Moon lives up to its name: super variety! Go when it is busy, food is hot. Lots of people go here, all types. Fun place, with a large koi pond in the entrance. They removed the in the dining area to make more room for seating people. They recently remodeled and it has a better flow.

Huge buffet with everything from sushi to ice cream. If you go on Sunday it cost a little more but there are lots more fish/seafood choices. Beverages and refills come with the buffet price. There is also a stir fry station where a chef cooks what you bring him from the huge selection of items. Lots to choose from, go when you are really hungry.

Great buffet. Had Dim Sum and hot Buns, plus some other decent authentic stuff in addition to the usual generic asian buffet faire. Servers were attentive and the line was well stocked. They only had soy in packets, which was kind of unfortunate, and their Mongolian grill had free selections of sauce to choose from. On the plus side, the grill had some irregular stuff as well, like beans and cilantro. Also many sea food options. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good asian buffet.

Took my family here for a get together before I had to fly out of MN. We reserved tables for up to 30 people. While the rest of our party was waiting in line to pay, one of the waitress gave away our table to another party. I was not happy at the fact that when we all paid, half of my family had to sit on the other side of the building. Food & service was good. But very unhappy about the server who gave away our table even though it was reserved for us. We didnt get an apology from the server who gave it away, knowing it was already reserved. They shrugged it off like it wasn't their problem. However, the sweet server who knew of this situation addressed it immediately. But they didnt acknowledge it & continued seating the other party anyway.

I already know to have low standards when trying a buffet. Not all of them can be amazing like Teppanyaki Grill. This place was even below my buffet standards. Super Moon came highly recommended, and I was inclined to agree when I saw the spread contained dim sum items like rice in banana leaves, pork belly, taro bun, and pork stomach, along with pig's feet. I tried these as well as commonly recurring Chinese buffet dishes, in addition to the sushi. I did not try the Mongolian BBQ grill as I had grown tired of the disappointment, while at the same time being provided a intense feeling of nausea. But more on that momentarily. The dim sum items were nothing to boast about. They were all dry (as is to be expected when sitting under heat lamps) and flavorless. The lack of flavor was a recurring theme in the other dishes, with one positive exception being the coconut shrimp, and one negative exception being the sesame and general tso's chicken. The shrimp packed flavor, but were dry from the heat lamps. Still my favorite dish overall. The sesame-general chicken, as the only difference between the two was the sesames sprinkled on top, had a sauce that was obviously ketchup based. Midwestern boy born and raised yes, and yet I am not a fan of ketchup. This is especially the case on my hotdogs, on my fries, and on my got-dag sesame or general tso's chicken!!! It was at this point I began to feel the gurgling in my stomach. I grabbed some lo mein and fried rice to ease the inner turmoil. The lo mein was not terrible, but the noodles were sliced into three (3) inch bits fit for children. Insulting. The fried rice was just rice with soy sauce. Thinking I am okay, it is here where I try the sushi, which yes was a dumb move when I am already feeling squeamish. I grabbed three (3) rolls that were difficult to identify, as it was apparent all non rice and vegetable ingredients were imitation such-and-such. I consumed two (2) rolls before my stomach turned against me once again. I laid out my receipt and tip and bolted out of there like I was Usain! The only compliments I can provide are to the wait staff and the ambiance of the establishment. There was soothing music playing throughout, and the place was kept clean. Regarding the staff, they were all very kind, and not once did I need to ask for a refill for my beverage. These accolades though are not enough to have me return, as I did exhibit signs of food poisoning for the next two (2) days. I am known as the Garbage Disposal, so for those with weaker stomachs, you may have been incapacitated for a week. Never returning to this place.

Thankful for the lady at the register that gave us a discount. Dissappointed with the food and other waitstaff. Food wasnt all labeled, and was not great quality. Both me and my partner got sick from it. The staff wasnt helpful, and one of the staff kicked us out 10 minutes before they closed, which is understandable but she was very rude about it. Im honestly just dissappointed in this place, they could do so much better.

This restaurant has nice ambience, you walk in and see a beautiful koi pond with waterfalls and tasteful greenery. It's like walking into an Asian garden. Things are a little pricey, but wait til you see what they have to offer. More than 10 buffets offering every kind of Asian food including beautifully laid out sushi offerings. They even have a fully stocked Mongolian barbecue. This was the high point of our visit because everything was hot off the grill. The trouble with offering everything under the Asian - American sun is that quality suffers for some items. The cream cheese wantons were huge but unfortunately soggy. The boneless ribs were dry, every shimp in the place was peel and eat with the exception of the Mongolian barbecue. The sushi, dessert areas were fine and tasty. But there was a lot of food that was just plain unappealing. The restaurant was modestly clean, with some of the seating threadbare and worn, the vinyl was non existent in our booth. Our tea mugs were cracked stained and chipped. The background music was loud and terribly melancholy. It was actually depressing me as the evening progressed. If you go head for the Mongolian barbecue first and then carefully pick and choose the food that looks like it hasn't been sitting for hours on end.

A lot of selections from sushi to salad bar. They also have a mongolian grill sectiin I didn't try it but looks like its good because people line up for it. For kids though who mostly wants sweet dessert, they don't have much to choose from Good thing they have fruits, at least to get the kids busy. The ambiance going in is great too with a small pond. It's clean, affordable and customer service is good always roaming around if tou need something. A buffet place I'll probably come back to when I'm in the city.

Food was cold? I don't think their heat lamps are heat lamps. The won tons and other things were not hot at all. The server was pretty rude. Idk if there was a miscommunication but we were brought the wrong drinks then we ordered hot tea that never came and when we asked for the correct drinks the server was pretty snappy and not nice about it. Unfriendly staff, told us over the phone they had crab and we get there after a long drive and they didn't. Then, the reception lady argued with me about not telling me that crab starts at 3:30. Another employee said 4. While none of this is the end of the world, it's just totally poor apathy and lack of customer service skill. Dining partner couldn't eat half of what he took from the buffet because it was not palatable. Never again.

A Crab legs Guardian person handing only 2 very small legs at a time ! I ate some Salt Pepper Shrimp, one had rocks that I was eating cracked my tooth very disappointing, my wife ating fruit she said she tasted dish soap on the fruit disappointing..Certainly not going here again.. I'm very angry cuz I have a broken back tooth now..Heads up folks..

They have a indoor waterfall with coy pond! This place has it all! Super friendly service with both great variety and great quality of food! The only downside was the cost. I came at peak hours on a Sunday and it was $17.00 plus tip per person. However, the variety of food more than made up for the cost. If you come on a weekday night than the price is much lower. The place is busy, but that is just a sign of how good they are. The place is a slam dunk 5 on a weekday and probably a 4-4.5 on the weekend due to the price/busyness. I totally recommend giving this place a go.

Quality quality quality if your a local or just driving through this restaurant is a must stop. The Waiting staff are flexible and courteous even for a larger buffet. No other buffet has as may options. Kids love the statues out front and the koi fish pond makes for a memorable experience.

The food is amazing. I will start with that. They have a huge selection, plus sushi amf also hibachi if you go that route. Their price point however is outrageous. In comparison to the other buffets thatvare similar, they are higher. 2 of us plus a 3 year was 45 dollars and in a a Thursday at that. We could have went to a sit down spot for less than that including gratuity. It shouldn't be 17 dollars per person.

There is seriously something wrong with the food here. I picked some fried shrimp and when I went to eat it it smelled like it was 4 weeks old. The egg rolls are disgusting. The noodles are soaked in grease and that “chicken” is definitely questionable. And they have the nerve to be upset when you don’t finish your plate... ha! I will NEVER come back here.

Great, spread of food and very clean tasting. Some of the booths can use a good upgrade/reupholstered, and 1 thing they do need parking lot security because I went and some Asian old man try to say I hit his car, even though his was on the opposite side and he called police, but the cop told him he was full of it. Other than that good place!

FYI...comments saying they are so good were paid or affiliated with them!! Worst place ever!!! They don't have items during peak dinner hours available. I told them there was no dim sum, no steamed bread, and no chicken in the stick. Stuck around waiting for over 10 minutes, and still none were refilled. Not good Chinese and even when supposedly owner delivered dim sum and shrimp...it was wrong. Dim sum was still pink in middle and it was supposed to be the buttered shrimp but he brought fried shrimp, which they didn't even have at the buffet. So I ended up being out $50 because of their horrible food. Not to mention the cashier lady was looking down upon my mother and me and had an attitude when I told them a lot of their food needed to be refilled!!!! She was rude and acted like she was a queen or something. Sorry, I make over $90k a year. Pretty sure cashier at this place is making less than 1/4 of what I do. NEVER go here!!!!!!! Horrible!!! I threw all of the food out!!!

Super Moon does Asian buffet a lot better than most places. Lots of options, friendly service and a nice big dining area. Would give SM 5 stars if they spent a little more time spicing things up.

Took the family here and had a great experience. There is something for everyone. Kids and I had the buffet, I had some sushi, and my wife had something from the stir fry bar. Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere.

All the food was chewy and stale, most food was cold and overall it was a sub-par experience. The only thing making this place worth 3 stars instead of 2 is their open grill where you can choose your own ingredients and make stir-fry for them to cook.

The food was alright..i think..the staff literally started putting food and sauces away at 8:45 pm! They weren't scheduled to close till 9:30 - the reason why my family choose to go , after a graduation. My family had the worst customer service EVER! I wasn't even offered a drink - staff gets it for you and when my Son tried to order me 1, they told him no he wasn't allowed

Not easy at all to find balance at a buffet place. Price value, Quality, Cleanliness of place, restrooms, seating area and plate dishes and service. IMHO Moon buffet has it. I was surprised at how good the variety and quality of food is. The stir fry Mongolian Grill is a plus to keep your meal healthy and the grill master keeps a smooth flow of people to perfection. Nobody waits more than 3-5 minutes. The rest of the food is amazing, and the salad bar is worth it by itself. Loved the sushi bar as well. Desserts are kept more on the fruit side instead of heavy processed things, which I appreciated as well. The cleanliness from restrooms to seating area to the dishes not being mushy was perfection too. This was my third attempt to go in there, other times had been dinner time on weekend. If you go there at peak time, you might hate the wait and line. I went 1pm on Friday. No line, the place was busy but not overflowing. My server was top notch with drinks and any needs. Please tip accordingly. The place smells fresh and the background music is calming. Parking is huge so that should be no problem. Location is easy off 394 highway. I'll be a regular here, likely avoiding peak times to keep my experience flawlessly positive.

Tons of selection and price is reasonable for lunch. Lots of the standard Chinese buffet items and a little more. Also have sushi and Mongolian BBQ included. I don't expect gourmet at a buffet, just a few options that I like. This place met my expectations.
