Good food, great service. I've been coming here for years. Even when I moved away and occasionally visit Hutchinson.. McCormick's is always my go to place to eat. Love their daily all you can eat specials, seldom have to get a 2nd plate. (But that's just me)

Generous portions of delicious food. Pies and baked goods are available here as well. The service was the best I've had in years. Giant warm popovers and delicious honey butter are served with most dinners. I do mean giant - about 8 inches high! This restaurant is well worth going out of your way to try. The prices are very reasonable.

This staff was great! Salad bar was small but very awesome! But when it came to the actual meal it was horrible the steak was extremely thin and the potatoes that they served us were not cooked all the way through and still hard. Definitely will not be eating there again.

McCormick's never disappoints! Doesn't seem to matter how busy they are, the service is still great and the food is always delicious and fast. We have yet to try anything on the menu we didn't like. Breakfast all day, popovers, salad bar, great soups... yum! Love that this family supports our community so much too. Always a great place to eat!

Having worked in restaurants and my parent's owning a small town restaurant I was blown away! It was Sunday morning We entered and were seated. There was a table of 17 waiting for food and 3 booths with menus. I figured we were going to wait for service and our food! The waitress was there with coffee before we sat down. Our order was taken and before I knew it the table of 17 got their food and then us and the other 2 booths amazing!! Hot and delicious. The staff was attentive took our empty plates and cleared empty tables. A well run machine. Good training and excellent management. Thank you for a dining experience that I thought had been lost forever

McCormick's family restaurant is always the best whenever we go to Hutchinson to eat I love their giant popovers and they always give you lots of food to eat for your money. They also have delicious homemade desserts. We north of Minneapolis and love to eat there it's like a home away from home. Thank you McCormick's

Management and the Owner are rude and arrogant here. Had an small issue there and didn't bother to say anything until the owners kid (didn't know at the time) came to clear the table and asked how things were. I told him the issue. Then he yelled across the room for the manager Ray to come causing a scene and disrupting other guests. The owners kid and the manager sat there disrupting me and making a big scene, tried to get them to just go away. After they finally went away, after what seemed like an eternity, the owner came over all arrogant, "Do you know who I am", then proceeded to tell me how he was going to school me on business because he is 83 and owns many businesses, he just proceeded to give me the 5th degree. I finally just told him to go away and talk to his managers. Both times I tried to get them to just go away, as to not make a scene. Far as the rest....Some of their servers seem crabby and other are good. The food is middle of the road at best.

We love to come to Mccormick's, and usually do a couple times a month. The food is usually wonderful, however, our server Gina ( and we've had her several times) really rushes our dining experience. We receive our bill when our food gets served, we are not offered the opportunity for desert, or any refills on coffee or other beverages... It is really disappointing when I would just like to enjoy a nice meal with my family and feel like we are just a check to cash. Also, the vacuuming when everyone is eating is also very awkward.

...mealtime was intended for families to come together at a table, thank God for the food and life He provided and to share the happenings of the upcoming or closing of the day. Throughout each generation, this special time seems to have been overtaken by technology and is becoming extinct. But we found a place in Hutchinson that has that “family meal time” experience. McCormicks Family Restaurant is a home town gem that has that sparkle you desire. As soon as you walk in, that family love feeling seems to hug and welcome you. When the owner, Mr Emmet McCormick walks around and talks to his guests, its like a fathers love making sure his “family” is fed and well taken care of. His staffs interaction with you IS that ol’ fashion fun family meal time. And when you leave, their gratitude of your visit reminds us of a mothers love giving you a hug good bye and saying, “Have a GREAT DAY and I’ll see you later.” Why leave Hutchinson...THIS restaurant IS “THE HEART” of THIS city.
