Joe Senser's serves really good american fare in a casual friendly atmosphere. They don't have a huge menu but their burgers are among the best. Both the blackened blue and MVP were packed with flavor, juciy, and served perfectly cooked medium rare as requested. The resraurant and bar is huge and ringed with super wide screen TVs. There's lots of seatimg inside and out. The servers were friendly and attentive.

GREAT atmosphere, OUTSTANDING service and fair prices on drinks. My only concern is the newer late night menu. I REALLY miss the old one! Other than the AWESOME wood fired wings, (everyone needs to try these at least once!) it's quite limited...not as robust as the former late night menu. I do hope it's upgraded/expanded at some point. ;)

Loved the place, great atmosphere and service. However the price for the 2 drinks I had was a bit shocking. $18 for 2 craft beers... Maybe I'm spoiled being from Wisconsin where craft beers flood the streets for $2-$5 each? Overall it's a great experience and would come again. Just keep in mind it is a bit expensive for drinks! Would rate 4.5 stars if I could.... Google if you are listening please add a 0 - 10 rating scale!

You need to stop marketing yourself as a “Vikings” bar when you are only willing to put the game on 6 TVs. The area of the restaurant that we were sitting was filled with Vikings and packers fans for today’s game. We talked to Steve the manager and he was nothing but rude and combative about the tv being on the Panthers game or the bills game when there was not 1 fan in the whole restaurant. I will not be returning to this place. **DONT ATTEND THIS RESTAURANT FOR VIKINGS SUNDAY!!** If you do happen to attend ask for Aurora the server. She was amazing with my group of 8.

Just a really great bar. Fantastic bar staff... all the main games on screen, food and drink offerings are right on. Am from Nebraska; this is definitely my new 'go to' bar in Minneapolis. Even if I'm here on a Husker game day. Great service!!! Look for Bryan at the bar... he makes a stranger feel like a local.

Fantastic experience dealing with Cheryl and Steve in planning our sons 30th there and making it special and fun. Cheryl helped with the food selection which was outstanding. Would definitely recommend them for your next event. Hospitality was outstanding including the bartenders and host. Truly 5 star service!

Great food and service. Minnesota mule and pull apart app was all right. But super impressed by the chicken and ribs. The chicken cooked to perfection and paired with a great tasting barbecue sauce. Also, mashed potatoes were phenomenal.

Joe Senser's has a good selection of American food. We went for apps and happy hour and the deals were decent. Patio space was really nice! Service was excellent. The food was average, not bad but not amazing. Overall, it is a good place to grab a bite to eat for a reasonable price.

My husband's favourite place to have chicken wings every Wednesday because they have offer like 50 cents per chicken wings. Being vegetarian, I have ordered Nachos and it is really tasty and the quantity is huge. I usually eat French fries there.

This is a great place to go have a meal, a cold beer and watch the game. Any game. The food here is outstanding and the service is second to none. Large portions that are served piping hot. If your in the area stop by for a visit. You won't be disappointed.

Bar tender was so great. She was fantastic. Food was actually pretty good. This location is night and day from the Roseville location. It is much better. I will say their TVs are all projection and therefore the picture quality is horrible. It was so bad I probably would not return because of this reason. Very poor placement of TVs too. When you are sitting at the bar, all of the TVs are to your backside. Another thing I didn't like is seeing a Planned Parenthood ad in the bathroom... I don't care what they say, a business owner can deny ad placements in their bathrooms if they wanted too. For this reason, I likley wouldn't return either.

Large restaurant with large projector screens playing many different sporting events. Good beer selection with several local breweries on tap. I had the avocado ranch burger. While on the pricey side, it was well worth it. Lots of avocado on it and cooked exactly how I like it. Would recommend upgrading to the waffle fries as they were down right amazing.

I have driven past this restaurant thousands of times without ever having stopped and FINALLY dropped in when I was invited by a group of friends. I had a very enjoyable experience. The menu is a little bigger than I think any restaurant should try to pull off, but I think they did a great job with my burger. Our server was very pleasant and (I love this) when asked about a dish said she personally didn't like it, but had heard other people say nice things, then proceeded to suggest a slightly cheaper option that she thought was excellent. (That is a rare experience...) The drink menu has a lot of options, including a good better list. My only regret is not having ordered the smoked wings, but I expect I will be back to give them a go sometime soon. In my opinion, any place in which I find an experienced, honest server is worth going back to!

Wow! This place has phenomenal food. Service was friendly and prompt. They have a nice variety on their beer list and the happy hour has some great deals. Tonight we had their pulled pork sandwich and walleye w/ mashed potatoes. The fish was cooked to perfection and the pork was juicy and tender. Highly recommend this joint for some tasty American classics.

Stopped here for dinner while in the cities for a Vikings game as we were staying at a hotel down the street. We got there about 6:30 on a Saturday night and the place was packed, which made us feel good about our choice of establishments! Its fairly dim inside with feel of a mix of industrial/speakyeasy/sports bar wrapped into one with multiple seating choices, however, we chose to at the bar since there was just 2 of us. Overall, we had a fantastic experience! The bar tender was very personable, all the staff seemed to have great work ethic, drinks were never left empty and the food was delivered quickly and tasted OUTSTANDING! The MVP burger is a must try! The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because, although it has many, many large televisions, they are all projection screen and are either lower quality or are in need of new bulbs as more tv's than not had a dull picture. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to watch a game and have great food and drinks!

Staff is fast and nice. Food is great! Only downside, the food options changes fairly regularly. Lots of sports channels if that's what you like. Huge TVs and multiple projectors! They even let us utilize one of their projectors in the middle of the day for a Fantasy Football draft!

I asked for no sauce on my burger twice. It comes out and it’s so drenched that it took 3 napkins to clean my hands while eating it, all over my plate and fries. I have a limited time for lunch, so I ate it. Not to mention I don’t send food back. I tell the waitres and she makes a smart remark about me eating all of it, but then apologized. I explained that it’s fine, but the sauce I didn’t want I very much dislike. She gives me my bill, and of course full price for something that I gagged down when I was very clear. I’ve had bad service before at other places, but this is probably the first review I’ve ever given. The lack of care and professionalism with people these days completely blow my mind honestly. As nice of a place as this is, I will never be back.

Food was good. Service was ok. We had our 1 year old with us and he requires a highchair (hes my only child but I assume most 1 year olds use one). They sat us in a booth, but they are ones you step up into so our son was about a foot or so lower then us which was awkward when trying to feed him. The Waitress left a lot to be desired. We were there watching football and were there for about 1.5 hours and she never asked if we wanted refills and never offered a beverage to my son, which comes with the kids meal. No huge problems but certainly could've been better.

I always meet friends for lunch here during the week. Great location that is convenient, since we all work in office roles, and always efficient for timing. Definitely recommend the pretzels for an app as well as the burgers or sandwiches as an entree! Salads are great too and are huge portions! Good spot for any occasion.

I've always really enjoyed visiting this place. If you're a big sports fan, then you'll especially love it. Even though it's a restaurant, it's also a sports bar and can get pretty rowdy on football days. Love the food and the drinks are good as well.

Senser's is a staple in the Minneapolis metro. They have tons of projector's which make for a great game day spot for football or NCAA tournament games. The food is good but not great and the price is a little high for what you get. Usually the service is pretty good though.

Had a great time watching NCAA tournament while grabbing a bite to eat with friends. The place is huge and deceivingly so from the outside. Don't let a lot of cars on lot scare you away. The quality and prices rock. I had the ribs and yes they fell off the bone as advertised. Sides were very good I had the mashed, beams & slaw. Almost ordered a beer and saw a Long Island Iced Tea for 8-9 bucks. Was expecting a small glass but instead got a tall glass that did not skimp on the booze. There were great views on big screens of all the games and the staff was very attentive. I will definitely go back on my next trip to Minneapolis.

On my last visit it was a slow day, the host seemed annoyed and couldnt be bothered to say hello, and after being seated I waited 15 minutes before just walking out the door because our server (with 3 tables) never came over to us

It had been many years since I last frequented Senser's. They have done a good job of transitioning their menu and layout to keep everything fresh from years ago. The staff that I met were very outgoing and gracious. We had a group of 6 and didn't have to wait an inordinate amount of time for our food. A great time had by all. I would go back again for sure.

Had a party of 3 adults, 4 kids to watch a football game. Everyone liked their food. It was reasonably priced, and a great atmosphere to watch the NDSU Bison game. Convenient location to Bloomington hotels as well.

I go here regularly sometimes 5 days in a week because I'm in the area a lot. Normally the staff is friendly and the food is decent (although recently quality is sometimes hit or miss) and they have a good happy hour. The last time I came this was not the case. The bartender was rude insinuating that I intended on walking out on my $12 tab (mind you I'm there more than he is). I attempted to talk to him. Realizing the futility of our conversation I told him I would not be returning and his response was bye. I asked to talk to a manager and he ignored me I had to find another employee to get the manager, I explained the situation to the manager and left. I have you 2 stars because apparently customers are not valued at your establishment.

Actually a fun clean quick service and decent pricing place. Easy parking and good location. Close to many hotels in the area, so there might be many out of towners. Good number of tv's. This is a happy hour early type of place. Don't expect a while lot after 9pm. They do have a good kitchen, as said a great happy hour snack and dinner bar in a good close by location to many hotels.

This location is great if you enjoy the standard sports bar atmosphere. Lots of different drinks available, popcorn to munch on and some normal domestic beer choices. Fun with a group of friends and has a good happy hour. I highly suggest this location to hangout.
