We happened to try this place on a whim because a reservation opened up on a Saturday night. Everything we tried was phenomenal and our waiter was extremely helpful answering all the questions we had (including an excellent knowledge of the wine list!). Highly recommend trying some of their fresh pasta.

Unique flavor didn't appeal to me much. Expensive with tiny portions. I didn't feel like I got a lot of value for my money. Compared to "the news room" downtown (a similar class/tier restaurant), I'd much prefer "the news room". Not for everyone.

Awesome Italian cuisine and atmosphere. Service is exceptional. There is outside patio seating. My wife is Italian and makes the best Italian food so it is very hard to find an Italian restaurant that can compete with her cooking, Italian Eatery is very close and we love it!

I was astounded at the service, the food and genuine compassion of the staff and manager. A friend and I were meeting my daughter at the restaurant and she had an accident when arriving. Henrique, our waiter, was very concerned for her and accommodated us in every way possible. They were closing at brunch and invited us to stay in their restaurant to keep cool. Then they brought lovely complimentary pastries to us. We were treated so kindly and the food was delicious! Highly recommend!!

We had a great brunch on the patio at IE! Our server was very helpful, offered good background about the restaurant and menu, and was very attentive. I had the porch etta sandwich and farm chips, which was delicious, and my husband had a the Wagyu steak and eggs, which he really enjoyed. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and great staff. We will definitely be back again for dinner!

The food is absolutely amazing, I've loved everything I have tried here. An added bonus here is their gluten free options, almost all the pastas can be made gluten free. Also, if you decide of having dessert, the flourless chocolate torte is a must have!

I love this place. Fair warning, the portions are small and rather expensive for the size, but it is all delicious. They have a great patio. I would say skip the cocktail, they are pricey and pretty standard, and instead get an appetizer or dessert. My favorite Italian food in the twin cities.

Delicious, authentic Italian. Our service was wonderful and felt tailored just for us. We had an appetizer (lamb), salad (caesar), entree (gnocchi), and dessert (afogato)...I can still taste it all when I close my eyes! They also have a nice weekend brunch with killer bloodies.

This is a go to for authentic Italian cuisine. The pasta is amazing and they aren't afraid to actually cook it al dente. They have a cozy patio that's perfect for warm summer nights. I recommend getting the olive oil chocolate torte for dessert; it sounds a little weird but it is amazing!

Service was excellent! The outdoor patio was comfortable with a nice vibe. The scallops were perfectly cooked and delicious. Had the mushroom pasta and wanted to order more it was so good. The limoncello (90fay) was very tasty and very pricey but other than that it was a great dining experience.

IE is one of our favorite Italian restaurants! They have great homemade pastas, and every time we go it’s just as good! They also have a great wine selection and an outdoor patio area! Love love love this place would highly recommend!

Good Italian food with a polite but querky staff. Definitely worth trying if you are curious about it. The Caesar was good, but not your typical creamy Caesar, more of an oil one. The wild boar meatballs were really good, but the red sauce took a back seat to the cheese in the dish.

Service was very very nice, and management. The appetizers fine. However... The bucatini was way undercooked almost crunchy, the sauce resembled a cheesy hamburger helper consistency? Sausage was great, but for a large portion was barely 1/3" of a pound. The gnocchi, was the worst I've ever had, honestly it tasted like Walmart flour, an egg and some tap water were thrown together 5 minutes prior to serving, then masked with a ok butter sauce, and again very sparse. I have no problem tipping and paying for a nice dinner. However, I do not feel the menu is worth the hype. Not what you'd expect for Italian dining, and no hearty dishes here.

This place is special. Not only is the food outstanding, the modern design and family-friendly feel make you want to go nightly. The food is very reasonably priced for the quality and I promise that you won’t be disappointed. They also have a delicious blend of cocktails and craft beer if you choose to partake responsibly.

So good! If you like bar la grassa, you will love ie. A lot of the pasta is handmade, they have some really fun cocktails, and the desserts are amazing. I always get the polenta as a side (it reheats well the next day). Their appetizers are also pretty good, especially the octopus. It has a casual atmosphere and even a fun little outdoor bar.

Darling, warm, welcoming scenery. Classy and sophisticated but not snobby. Bubbling and energetic but not overly loud. Would be a FANTASTIC first date spot - quiet enough to enjoy conversation but entertaining enough to eliminate any awkward silences. Attentive, friendly z knowledgeable staff. All Italian wine list with economical and fine options. I enjoyed their take on an old fashioned.. smooth and strong and oh so nummy. The mushroom tortellini was one of the most exquisitely delicious meals I've ever had... And I'll be honest - it takes a lot to impress me with food, especially pasta. I'll be back... and soon!
