Overall it's not bad. Service was good, their Margaritas are good and the burger I had didn't poison me. Me and my friend went there and ordered some wings, and apparently they couldn't split the sauce type on the wings for some reason. They didn't give a reason, other than "they don't allow that anymore". It's not a big deal, but basically any other place will let you do that. The waitress was basically always prompt in getting us refills of drinks and checked in with us serval times to see if we wanted anything.

The burrito without a shell was very good. Wings good. Appetizer a kind of a loaded fries good. Chocolate shake good. Service was just ok the day we went. Order was not quite right. They did give us half off for that item that had to be replaced. Moderate prices

Wife and I went on Tuesday. For two for one burgers. We were told by our waitress that we had to order two soft drinks or two beers to get the two for one burgers..I understand the state law says the meet has to be cooked all the way through.Thease burgers were cremated. So very over cooked..... we left most of our food on the plate...Would not recommend this to anyone and certainly won't go back...Our two for one burgers cost was $ 18.47

I thought I'd give it another goaround. Stopped at 11:5*pm and the bartender made sure we knew the kitchen was closing soon so we got some food. Good service, aright food and awesome job in the fries!

Way over priced. We went for a late dinner. Food was ok, but not worththe prices they charge. I ordered a single glass of wine that was suppose to be $5.50 they charged us $10.50. The prime rib was cold and we got it without sides. The price was $25 + Waitress was really nice, which is the only reason we're not eating it at a 1*

Went there to play trivia on Thursday and the roof was leaking on me all night I told the waitress. Also I ordered the Alfredo with grilled chicken aaaaand no way in hell was the chicken grilled. It was definitely from a can. And that was $18. I will go back for trivia but not too eat. Ridiculous.

Have only been here twice and it was in the same day. The lunch fish fry was great to start off. Came back with coworkers at night and was very pleased with Mark at the bar. He was extra accommodating,very friendly, and quick to serve us. Give that man a raise. Paul the manager was great and checked on us to see how are meals were. Great experience overall and looking forward to frequent this establishment during our work stay. Thanks Ground Round!

The staff were so friendly and fast. I was surprised at how much variety the menu had as well. Usually with a big menu, it's a combination of the same 8 ingredients give or take a meat or cheese, but there was a lot of fun stuff to choose from on the menu. The Memphis fries are great!! Loads of pickles and pork and the fries were top notch- potatoe-y and crispy. Great for groups, friends, family, or eating while watching a game at the bar.

Ground Round of Winona, MN is the best! 15 years and still never a bad meal! Friendly Staff, warm welcome as soon as you walk through the door. Very family first. A wide variety for both lunch and dinner, wine and beer selections. Eat in bar is set apart from dining. Also large outside pavilion (weather permitting).

For the most part I enjoy the food, it's nice when they have a new menu. Not the best service if you sit at the bar they are too busy making drinks for the whole restaurant. The bartenders also seem to ignore people if regulars are there.

Great food great happy hour nice place for beer or supper. Make sure you go happy hour times. Other wise appetizers and drinks are almost 3 times. higher. Actually I should of ordered off the menu. They did have lunch specials that were a good price. I ordered the sampler platter of appetizers16.99 a drink 5.99 with tax 29.00 ouch. So watch the hours and menus. I could of easily saved 10.00.

Great service. Nice menu options. Huge portions! I had the "Pretzel Turkey" sandwich with a side salad, and the Monday night $1.99 margarita. Really good! For what its with - l'll order it again!! (Sorry, no photos...)

The service was exceptional. Ordered the Long Island drink special. There was very little alcohol in the drink, mostly juice. The food was not great. The hamburger tasted like it had been frozen prior to cooking. The ribs were also on special. They had a weird brown sauce not BBQ sauce. The only food that tasted good was the cheese curd appetizer.

Ate an early Saturday evening dinner. Fast and attentive server. Caesar salad could have been better (limp romaine lettuce). My hand battered waleye was cooked to perfection and tasty. My wife's bare bones burger was good. I will return the next time we are in Winona.

Salmon undercooked, steamed broccoli cold, vinegar wings were bland, service was poor and the manager told us salmon is typically cooked "medium to medium rare" and if we want it cooked done we can ask.

The food here is amazing and the customer service is always impressive! Our waitress Hanna had a great attitude and smile on whenever she came by!! We had their Quesadilla Burger, Turkey Pretzel sandwich, Onion Tower, new Egg Roll app and deep fried oreos and it was all delicious!

Great food. Bad service! Went out for a late Valentine's dinner in the bar. Wasn't even a quarter way through eating (with 2 sips of our drinks down), and the waitress proceeded to give us our tab and say no rush... we had barely touched our food! Not busy what-so-ever, but felt pushed out. Will pick another bar in Winona next time.

Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram at SNDTravels. Found another good one. Stopping to do business in Winona MN right along the Mississippi river and visited here for dinner. They bring about popcorn for the table to start which was great. Not filling like bread. Not on the menu, but it should be, we had them bake the Walleye instead of frying it. Absolutely fantastic. Tender and juicy with a nice amount of seasoning I had mine with broccoli and mixed veggies and Diane had broccoli and a ceasar salad. Vegetables were cooked but still crunchy and the salad was good. Attentive and friendly service. Sat out on the patio for a nice evening. Recommended!
