Had breakfast: two eggs over easy, cooked as I like 'em; links, a little greasy; a pancake, huge, in lieu of toast; and bottomless coffee, all for less than $8.50. Server Becky very friendly, communicative, and efficient. Ambience a little dated; restroom clean, regular morning crowd takes same seats every visit. Pretty typical small town cafe.

Some friends of ours invited us to the "Dinner and a Show" where we got to have a buffet of broached chicken and ribs and it was great! They had chocolate cake and angel food cake as well. The buffet was awesome. Then we got to watch a comedy show and we watched Fancy Ray before and he was AMAZING! My stomach hurt from laughing so hard at the end of the night. Mark and Sue Cannon were so good and such awesome owners. They made sure we were takin care of and went over and beyond. I will continue to take my business there in the future!

It's the first time I ever ate there. They have many different choices on their menus. They serve alcohol,malts. I'd be willing to bet their menu has just about everything available. The customer service was great and the price was good.

Good overall restaurant, clean and comfortable atmosphere. Food was good and served quickly. I liked the new brand of Fries with the burgers. They were much better and a lot more crispy than the previous style. I'd give it 5 stars if the waitress would have been a little better. Typically that's never an issue there.

Usually great food and service BUT last night the food was sub par (cold over cooked eggs, country fried steak was cold and chewy, cold hashbrowns) and the service was horrible! We waited long enough we got up and grabbed our own menus, waitress didn't listen to the order correctly, we had to search her out in the kitchen to ask for drink refills and then again to pay. Very disappointed!!

Great place for gluten free options, they have gluten free bread, clam chowder soup uses corn starch vs. flour for a thickener, innocent whoops moment when salad came with croutons, the great waitress remedied it immediately, so spouse was able to enjoy great burger, salad and soup. 3 of us were raving about their clam chowder, the restaurant surprised us with a complementary bowl for my wife to try. Oh yeah, small town friendliness...will be back soon.

Stopped in for a bite to eat today, after seating ourselves like the sign said, our waiter finished helping another table and then came over and greeted us and got our beverages ordered and gave us menus and left, a little bit after delivering beverages he came back and took our order, he was very pleasant and helpful explaining to my girlfriend what would come with her order when she asked. The food came to us in a reasonable amount of time and was hot and very good, coffee was a little weak according to my girlfriend, but I'm not a coffee drinker so l can't say. Thanks to Quinn our waiter for the great service, even with a sprained ankle he was helping everyone in the place with a smile, when we were almost done the owner came by and introduced himself and asked how everything was, to me that shows that they really care about the customers. Thanks for the great service.

My husband and I went on a rendezvous up north during Labor Day weekend. We decided to stop in Mora at Freddie’s for 2 Raspberry Smirnoff Ices, drummies, and an incredible chicken bacon ranch quesadilla. I have had many quesadillas in my life, including a jaunt to the quesadilla capital of the world, and this was above and beyond, the most amazing quesadilla that I have ever had. We ended our meal with Boston Creme Pie. Delish food and our waiter was great!

We were driving through Mora and grabbed some take out from Freddie's to eat at a nearby park. We choose Freddie's because of the hundreds of positive reviews. They were right. The service we received over the phone and during pick up was stellar. We had the cannon melt, the mini Donnie and kids pancakes and sausage. All orders were correct and delicious. Next time we're in Mora we'll be stopping again.

It's what you would expect from a small town Restaurant. The surroundings are warm and cozy, the food is plentiful and delicious and the prices aren't too bad either. Remember to tip the waitresses, they do a great job !

Great service! Great menu, more than just burgers to eat like kevs and the crystal. First sunday of every month banquet ALL YOU CAN EAT! Great prices! All around clean and fancy dine out place! Owners are kind hearted and make you feel welcome. Gluten free food is served here as well. Cooked seperately and to upmost sensitivity prepared using seperate gloves. Keep up the good work!

We stopped in while traveling with our 4 kids. The menu has a large selection, including the kids’ menu. We were able to order quickly and did not wait long for our food. Everything tasted great. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived, but quickly filled up. Our server Heather seemed to handle it effortlessly. She was fantastic! We’ll surely stop again on our way through.

On Septembe 4, 2019, my friend and I decided to have a late breakfast to celebrate the kids going back to school. When we got there, the place was packed but we found a table and waited. Eventually, one of the two waitresseses on duty came to take our order. We ordered and waited...and waited. When our meals finally came out, I noticed they had the wrong toast with my omelet but decided not to say anything because they were so busy. After two bites, the other waitress came to our table and informed me (rather bluntly) that I was served the wrong order and took my plate away and replaced it with another omelet. No apology...not even a smile. My friends order of biscuits and gravy was lukewarm and she said the biscuits tasted like they were freezer burned. Her side of kielbasa was also lukewarm. All in all, it was a pretty bad experience. I blame management for poor scheduling.

I've only been here once, but I went with a friend that lives in the area who highly recommended it. The menu was extensive and they also had several daily specials. Most of what they have is very close to home cooked food. Several people at my table had either a roast beef or turkey dinner and they all enjoyed it and said that they would return again if they get back to the area. None of us had dessert, but they had a long list of pies to choose from. If you enjoy good quality American food I would highly recommend trying Freddie's.

Service was not very good. Food was served luke warm. Biscuits tasted like they were frozen.....and this past weekend, my uncles both walked out after being seated and getting zero service after 20 mins. Will NOT be returning.

Ordered two basic bacon burgers and fries and a hot beef sandwich. $35.96 and $5.00 tip. Dry burnt thin stamped burgers, breaded fries (yuck) and very slow service. $40.96 should have went somewhere else for the money. I was not the least bit impressed.

First, let me say that Freddie's is a friendly place. Their waitstaff and owners will chat you up and make you feel comfortable. Kind folks! But the three stars here reflects the food quality, which has honestly taken a dive in small town restaurants almost everywhere I go. Salad is iceberg lettuce, which is what our local customers prefer, for instance. Folks are unlikely to pay for higher quality food, so restaurants order the cheapest stuff off the food truck. Freddie's, by far, has the best food of the cafes in town. Their prices may be a little higher, but their food costs run higher than elsewhere, and it shows.

Family owned restaurant and friendly, efficient staff! I especially like the Cannon prime rib sandwich. Delicious prime rib, swiss cheese and sauteed onions and au jus on the side. Comes with a side of potatoes or salad, too! Afterwards, we always like to finish off with a slice of cream pie and coffee. All delicious!

Me and my family have eaten here many times. They have great breakfast items always yummy. My favorite is the country fried steak. Their chicken is really good and I love their ribs. Most of the soups I dont care much for, but the chicken wild rice is really good i think. If you're looking for something a bit different for dessert, try the Elvis pie (if they have any. Popular dish and they often run out). The staff is always friendly, especially the owner. He's always walking around chatting with the regulars and asking others how their meals are. Super nice guy. In fact when I got out of the hospital a couple years ago he personally came out to deliver my order to my house. Who does that?! They also have a banquet/event room that they sometimes host live entertainment in. I gave it four stars because while i really like the place, the food isn't stellar, but pretty darn good. I'll be going back here for years to come.
