Food is very much home cooking comfort food. I had the beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and smothered in brown gravy. The beer was tender enough to cut the a fork. The potatoes were thick but smooth, seasoned just right. My wife's BLT was thick and tasty. The photo tells it all !

The price of Curran's is what brings me back every time. The early morning special is my favorite thing on the menu and it also happens to be $2. It's great! I recommend saying yes to the grilled onions on the breakfast potatoes! Also, they have my partner's favorite sugar free syrup, so it's hard to pass up when we want breakfast out of the house.

One of the only places that has liver and onions! It's sliced a bit thin though. Get a warm piece of pie, get a sunday, get a turkey Manhattan or a burger. Cheapest breakfast special, and waffles all day. Good prices and portions and the staff is a gem especially later at night.

VERY OFF atmosphere-come here if you want to be judged based on your appearance-it shouldn't matter what you look like as you (manager, who looked very put out to seat us and get us drinks) are providing a service to someone who is giving you business, and tipping you no matter what. Surrounding guest/customers were not nice either. We left.

With prices that are competitive (if not better than) compared to the big chain diners, I don't understand how anyone could choose those over Curran's... Especially considering the quality of the food, the care put into making it and the prompt service being immensely better than a Perkins or Denny's, there's no debating it. It's my new go-to breakfast diner.

A true classic - I love Curran’s and frequent it at least once a week. This place is a flashback to 1990 (in all the right ways) with speedy service and a genuine, expansive diner menu. The staff is very pleasant as well. I hope Curran’s never changes a thing.

Very Good breakfast, wouldnt rely on getting quality roast beef, however its a great place if you don't mind weird looks for not being at least 70 years old. Early bird specials worth all the riff raff. Is reverse ageism a thing? Hahaha. Also staff has been generally rude in the past, and the owner or manager is a grumpy salty boy

Great little place for any meal. They're a busy place for good reason! Has an old fashion feel to it and a lot of history in this place. Stop in for some of the events through out the year, in particular for St. Patrick's Day for some music, good Irish food and the awesome pie. Great job Curran's!

If you've never been to Curran's, go...now...today! Hit them for breakfast and try the Hamdinger...unless you're watching your cholesterol. Service is awesome, food is outstanding. Oh, and get a pie to bring home! Wife says "Get the Pot Roast!"

Very average food. Kind of dated, it's been around for a long time. Had corned beef sandwich and fries, thought it would be good here. Just ordinary, and the fries where the frozen kind...not good at all. I left most of them. Husband has steak sandwich, it was very tough. Sorry we drive all the way there for my corned beef sandwich. Service was very mediocre at the best.

I had one of the tastiest hamburgers I've had in a long time. Service was excellent, prices were very reasonable, and everyone in our group was happy with what they ordered. No wonder Curran's has managed to stay in business for so many years!

Came in and there were plenty of seats available. Waitress saw us seated and ignored us to the point I had to find one. When she finally came over her attitude was down right rude. Ordered a prime rib sandwich. I thought it was funny that the order came so quickly. The prime rib was moving it was so raw and it wasn't hot. Totally ruined my appetite. Waitress was on her phone where dishes are bussed. Currans I have been a customer since 1964. People like her ruin a small business.Its sad when you have an employee with no skills. Good way to ruin a business.

We are Curran regulars now. My kids enjoy the menu variety. We treat ourselves to the pie on most visits. Come for simple and well made delicious meals. If you have a taste for breakfast - do it! Also the burgundy steak is typically very well prepared. It's been a Minneapolis establishment for 70 years - there is a good reason for that longevity.

This place needs more than 5 Star's It needs 10 Star's! I Took my Wife and 11year old Daughter There for Breakfast This Morning. They was Shocked how much the prices were. But, We all enjoyed our Food from the time we walked through the door we was greeted and helped with The Upmost respect treated very kind. The food is EXCELLENT!!! AWESOME!! THE SERVICE IS 100% AND SUPERB!!! We will be coming back to enjoy the wonderful food and great customer Service. Thanks Curran's.

Food was decent. The restaurant needs an update very badly. The tables and floors looked old and dirty. Our server could have been a little friendlier and stopped by more often. We weren't offered drink refills until we were done eating and only after we asked.

Current restaurant is what it has always been. A great Neighborhood family restaurant. Run by people, who Love people. The food is outstanding, and the staff are A1! In almost 30 years coming in-and-out of these doors, I have never been disappointed in the food, or the people who work there. Now I ask you...how many places can you say that about?
