the seafood did not taste fishy at all. The texture of the shrimp and the calamari were fantastic. The steak sandwich was made with delicious bread, that was clearly fresh.

Very good. It's a bit more expensive but for good reason, very nice and spacious, excellent food, amazing service. I love meat and my wife is vegetarian, this was absolutely no problem and our server perfectly gave many options for her. We both loved it. Definitely will return!

We had a party of nine, three ordered burgers (they were okay), me and another person ordered the House Made Ravioli, it was THE BEST. Another ordered the scallops, and she said they were awesome. Two others ordered the fettuccine, and they both enjoyed it. Order the Italian fare, not the burger and fries. They have tiramisu if you are wondering and some unique desserts. Overall, a great place to eat.

-We’ve been to Ciao Bella and Zelo for a few years now every time we visit Minneapolis so at least every couple of months. Unfortunately it is not as great as in the past. - I made a reservation and specified that it was our anniversary as well as his birthday and would like a candle for his dessert but none of the above were mentioned by any staff at anytime. -The hostess was very lost and not welcoming by asking us first thing “ you need any help?”. I mean wouldn’t you at least say hello and why would anyone would step into a restaurant, probably to eat? ... then a young man- assuming manager came out to tell her how to basically show us to the table, he was with his hands in his pockets and never mind the uniforms for any of them, I mean if you have a restaurant of such elegance wouldn’t the staff be up to that level as well?! - Food was very good as always and probably that is why we keep going back for the consistency of the food. The bass was cooked to perfection and short ribs were ok. Ciao baby salad was great, meatballs a little spicy and crab cakes excellent. - Our server was nice and service was pretty good. - next time we will have to rethink our dinner plans as $200 can be easily spent somewhere else as well. - my 3 star rating is based on : atmosphere, food, service, price and the fact that was no acknowledgement of our anniversary or his birthday.

Authentic Italian restaurant with lots of options. The meat and cheese plate was a bit smaller than I expected but was delicious. The entrees were excellent and so were the desserts. Overall it was a good dinner.

All around, an excellent dining experience! Melissa was an extremely knowledgeable waitress, very attentive to our needs, and so friendly and inviting. The atmosphere was a bit loud, but we were seated near the bar during peak dinner hours so it was to be expected. Food was phenomenal and made for a special evening I won't forget. Ciao Bella was the perfect choice for our 10th Anniversary dinner celebration.

Our friends live in this area. The restaurant we were supposed to eat at closed for remodel. Friend took us here and so happy they did. Our server Michelle was great. Lucky we came early as it was packed when we left. You're served unless fresh bread

I had the braised rib with a glass of house red wine, which was excellent. We sat outside under a heat lamp, and the service and view was great. Dinner entree was about $28, with the wine and gratuity the cost was$49. Recommended.

Love the outside. Very comfortable even with the high temperature and humidity. Tried to get a table inside but it was way too loud to have a conversation. So we decided to sit outside. Staff was very attentive and friendly. They didn't look harried or sweaty from the heat and humidity. The food was very good. Overall we enjoyed the 2 hours we were there. Didn't feel rushed to leave, just enjoyed our conversations.

Beautiful place to have a romantic night, celebration or dinner out wit friends. The fresh bread served at your table is delicious. I had a parmesan shrimp pasta dish. The dish was good; but on the dry side for my tastes. The shrimp was nicely cooked and could have been moister. The pasta dish would have been more appealing with parmesan cream sauce. The prices were on the high side since all the food is priced separately. Salad, entrees, dessert, etc. The staff attentive and friendly.

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary here. It was exquisite! I got the Cacio e Pepe and I really enjoyed it. The free bread was also a great compliment. The one complaint is that open table says it is business casual and no shorts are allowed, however, I saw many people wearing shorts. I was a little confused about this. We will definitely come back though because the food was amazing and the service was great too!

Very nice restaurant! Great food. Had the crab cake sandwich. It was excellent. Service was 5 star! The only negative is it was a bit noisy during lunch, but the restaurant was full with people which is a great sign of a great restaurant! Highly recommend!

Excellent food. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and it's one of the best spaghetti and meatballs dish I have eatened. The service was very quick, despite that it was fully packed and during lunchtime. Being fully packed restaurant could also tell you that people know where good foods are located. I definitely recommend you to try out this place if you savor for delicious Italian food. Highly recommended. I will definitely come back again!

I was here several times back in the Spring. Now, I am back in the Minneapolis area on business again, so I made sure that Ciao Bella was my first meal this trip! The specials are amazing, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Although I miss my family when I'm traveling, I'm blessed to have found this place.

Great food, great service. Nice set-up and relaxing atmosphere. Been going there over 15 years, never encountered an issue. The best part? We are given time to eat, and not being rushed to turn the table over.

The food was delicious. The menu allows for small or large portions on many items which was great since I was staying in a hotel and leaving first thing in the morning. I had an appetizer, entree and a dessert. All were very good. The only slight problem was that towards the end of the meal it felt like our server forgot about us. Just ok would be how I describe my dinner experience here. Initially the restaurant was loud and conversation was difficult. It did quiet down as the evening got later. The Mojito was too sweet and lacked flavor. The halibut (evening special) was fine however I found the dish in general too salty and the corn was out of place with the dish.

The ambience is really nice. Their heirloom salad tasted really good. Eventhough in the website they have mentioned there are lots of vegan options I did not find many. In fact the waitress suggested only the heirloom salad.

We weren’t impressed. Staff was decent. I will say I hate the fact that they kept over reaching to fill our waters. And please ask me before you fill it Oh and on top of that every time they would fill it would splash all over the place. Our waitress was informative with drinks and food menu. As for our food. My salmon was cold the sauce was soupy. My veggies weren’t cooked. Who likes uncooked potatoes? Not I. My boyfriend liked his steak though. At least they got one right. Disappointed due to the fact that it was a special night for my boyfriend and I. It’s safe to say we won’t be going back and if anyone asks definitely not recommending this place.

I have been here dozens of times. Their walleye is simply the best available. I have had it every time I have been there. That is how good it is. Full disclosure, once they were out of walleye, so I had ravioli. It was also very very good. Great atmosphere, but a little noisy.

First time visit. We sat outside for lunch. The atmosphere was great. Trees gently blowing in the wind and access to the bar if needed. Wait staff was on top of it, glasses didnt get empty and the food was amazing. I had the crabcake sandwich definitely would have it again.

Made reservations for dinner. Arrived on time and were seated in a booth near the kitchen. The server took our drink order and we waited for our drinks, and we waited for our drinks. Eventually even the gentleman who brings the bread and water noticed we had been waiting for a while. Finally, the server brought our drinks. She mentioned that we were seated in a "pick up" table. This means no server was assigned to our table, anyone could pick it up. The servers assigned section was across the restaurant from our booth. We ordered an appetizer and dinner. The food was delicious! The manager noticed my wine glass was empty and he put the order in, the server was busy in her section. Eventually I got my wine. The manager came by a few times but the person we really needed was the server. I am disappointed that we were seated in the "pick up section" with a reservation. There were many open booths and tables around us. Our server was very pleasant but she was busy in her assigned section. We will be sure to ask if our booth/table is in an assigned section in the future.
