I went in for some drinks with a friend while I was in town. The restaurant was nice but a bit awkwardly large and open. I think they could have made it a little more homey. The drinks were a tad pricey but with the interior decor I kind of knew that was coming. The food looked good but we did not get any as we were just out for drinks. I would probably not go back just because there are so many other choices locally.

Busy lunch spot serving up classic American cuisine with some Italian takes as well. Ample sandwich and soup options as well as a good selection of salads. Food was a bit pricey but very well prepared and delicious.

BLVD is one of the only very few upscale restaurants I enjoy going to. The place is usually jam-packed with people, and you could wait for a long time, about an hour, during peak times. Try coming here in less busier times if you can. I believe they still have happy hour, but it's only available in the bar area. For an upscale restaurant, prices are pretty fair and reasonable, and food has always generally been good here. Their truffle fries here are a must-have. I am knocking off one-star here due to often long waits, and I was disappointed with the eggs benedict's english muffins being completely soggy from my last brunch visit (I don't have a pic for this). Otherwise the food here have mostly been consistently good, and a great place to visit after work or if nearby.

Honestly wasn't that impressed. Ordered the Royal burger and Lobster queso dip. Both seemed to be popular and looked delicious. The burger was actually really good other than the pretzel bun was dry and stale. The coleslaw was flavorful but a little runny. Overall the burger would've been great if it wasn't for the bun, which is huge when you're talking burgers. The queso dip had a good amount of lobster but came out lukewarm. We sent it back and received a microwaved return. One side being hot and the other lukewarm again. After stirring it to even out the tempt it lacked flavor. Wasn't impressed. $$

My fiancé & I chose BLVD Kitchen & Bar for our rehearsal dinner in a private room. Katya worked with us and was incredibly organized and did a stellar job. Not only was she transparent but she was so easy to work with. Her recommendations were on point and here team did an incredible job. The food, service, and drinks were fantastic. Would 100% recommend again. The atmosphere was so perfect and the patio was a plus! Thank you to Katya & her team the night was perfect.

Arrived at 4:50 on a Thursday with a group of eight to be told by the outdoor hostess that we couldn't be seated because the one spot large enough was full (even though there were three open tables for 4-6 visibly available). A manager-type came by and said we could be accommodated inside at the bar. So we tried that. Same attitude, same response, but with an added incredulous, "do you have a reservation?" For 4:50 on a Thursday at a restaurant in a strip mall between a Michael's and Dick's? So we couldn't be seated inside either - we were offered that we could "try to find seats at the bar or stand at the rail." Back outside we went to see if there were still multiple tables open for four; we decided we could split into two groups. That hostess seemed confused by the proposition and said she'd have to ask. She disappeared inside, came back out, seated a couple that had just walked up, and said nothing in follow-up. So I went back over and asked if two tables would be possible ... "oh, you still want to do that?" "Yes, we do." After ten minutes trying to find out if the restaurant wanted us as patrons, we were finally taken to two tables in the back split by the servers' walkway for bringing food out to the patio instead of at two other tables right next to each other. The only upside: our server was lovely and did her best to recover from the horrible service everyone else had given us. The drinks were decent, the truffle fries ($8) were greasy but ok, and the edamame ($11) was not raw and doused in what seemed to be plain soy sauce and some garlic (didn't seem sauteed or made into a sauce...just straight out of the bottle). That's the best I can say. In a town with an incredible number of fabulous restaurants, I have no idea why this place is busy.

#romantic #localspot A bit on the pricey side but it is worth it. The service is wonderful. The food is delicious and fresh. If you are looking for a break from the chain restaurants, go here! I have gotten a few things from there and have yet to be slightly disappointed. There will be waiting at peak times, but always worth the wait. I can't wait for patio season again to enjoy the nice patio setup they have.

I always have lower expectations when I order food for delivery. I give benefit of the doubt when it comes to analyzing my experience with a restaurant's food quality when I have it delivered to me. This place is no exception. I had the Gold Coast Club with fries delivered to me for lunch today and it was not good. For starters, the $14 base price is steep even for a good quality sandwich. This was not that. The bread was soggy, the chicken was burnt and tough and the bacon was chewy. The sandwich fell apart with the first bite. The fries were soggy and under-cooked as well. I ate as much as I could before I just couldn't take the taste of burnt chicken anymore. I just pulled the egg off and ate that and threw away the rest. I hate throwing away food, especially when it's this expensive. I'm giving it 2 stars because I appreciate the full ramekin of ketchup as opposed to the packets and that they sent along plasticware and a napkin with the sandwich even though the napkin was destroyed immediately after the first bite of the sandwich. They must have known I'd need a knife and fork to eat this sandwich. They came in handy for the egg, which was cooked right. I can only assume in-house experience is better, but I'll leave that review to someone else. Will not order again.

It was delicious and done throughout even with it being over an inch thick. It was a very generous portion of meat. This served over rice and sweet Asian vegetables with a sweet sauce.

I went in for a work event on an early Wednesday evening and BLVD was busy which isn't a bad thing but you could wait a bit. The host was polite and helpful. I had the pan-seared Chilean sea bass and it was perfectly crisped on the outside but still moist and flaky on the inside, very well cooked. I have to say the best I've had in recent memory but the next time I go when it isn't a professional event, I'll take some photos.

I had a minor issue with my food last night but it was QUICKLY resolved. :) I was actually able to speak to the General Manager Jim and the Restaurant Manager (I believe his name is Spencer). They were both very nice and offered me a gift card. Their customer service was above and beyond anything I expected. I hope they both get a raise because I felt so listened to after I spoke with them both. Thank you both and I recommend this restaurant to all. Have a great weekend! :D

Love this place. The menu has a great mixture of fish, pasta and steak. The true gem is the Mussels from the appetizer menu. Large enough to eat as an entree and delicious. They also pour the right size martini!

Our server was right, the truffle fries are to die for. I must say the buffalo shrimp was amazing, however that didn't make up for the overall experience. Someone came to check on us throughout our meal, I believe he was a manager, young looking guy. Very friendly, however reeked of cigarette smell. Look I'm not oppose to smokers. You do as you wish, however you shouldn't be able to smell someone. My friend ordered a salad, opting for the healthier choice, yet it was extremely greasy. The first time I ate there, I was delighted and believed it would become our new hangout stop. I even invited my girlfriends this time, but I think we find a new hangout place.

I have been to BLVD two times. The first time I sat at the bar during happy hour and ordered the fried chicken sliders and they were really good, as was the service. Today 2/22/19 I went back with my husband for lunch and we shared the shrimp risotto and chopped salad. The risotto was truly outstanding. Whoever created the recipe deserves the culinary equivalent of a standing ovation. There was plenty of fresh shrimp mixed with chopped asparagus stems, peas, and sliced cherry tomatoes in a perfectly creamy broth. Sometimes chefs get ahead of themselves with over augmenting dishes when just a little tweak will do. In this case adding a bit of arugula did just that.

I have been here a few times and always left happy. Tasty food and creative drinks. I had the shrimp and vegetables, which is gluten free and super yummy. My daughter went for the ribeye steak, which was done perfectly and served with a large portion of garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. My wife had the crab cake BLT. This had a very large cake & came with fries. She said it was excellent. When here try one of their cocktails or a local brew featured on tap.

Popular bistro. Our party of eleven business colleagues visited on a Monday night, and reservations - which we had - were clearly necessary. They looked to be at maximum capacity. A large group is always the test for how well run a property is, and the service at BLVD exceeded expectations. Very knowledgeable servers, but perhaps a little too eager to upsell on the appies and the most expensive entrees. Our dinners all came up promptly, with no more than five minutes between the first and last served. The food itself ranged from very good to great. One or two minor execution issues, but none that really compromised the enjoyment. Decent wine list, but the craft beer selection could have been a tiny bit better. In sum, a great experience.

Four friends met for brunch on a Sunday. They serve from a brunch menu, not a buffet. The food was very good with decent sized portions. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, very comfortable. Lots of seating at the bar and several TVs to watch sports. Our server was knowledgable about the menu and specials. Our service was a little slow though.

Went to BLVD for an 80th birthday party. The guests included four generations of friends and family. BLVD has a beautiful party room adjacent to an enclosed patio with cushy outdoor furniture. The kids played outside on the patio while the adults enjoyed the fabulous food: salads, flat bread pizza, sliders, and stuffed portabellos. The service was spot on from the moment guests began arriving. From coffee, to cold beverages, to replenishing food, to picking up used plates, to dessert service, everything was perfect. The restrooms and coat rack are conveniently located just outside the party room. One final note: the veggies, including asparagus and slices of summer squash, were top quality but were served raw. They would have been much tastier roasted.

Boulevard has an excellent menu with great drinks, wine , and local beer options. The food is delicious with a menu while not large is done so well. The chili shrimp with salsa and corn chips is incredible. The Asian Sticky Ribs were loved by all at the table, definitely made to share. For main courses the fan favorite was the Jambalaya. The waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive even though the restaurant was packed.

Very cool local joint! The bar tenders are very friendly and efficient! And the waiting’s staff are absolutely amazing. But the host are pretty useless. I asked one of them to get the TV to a certain channel while I can watch it with the family while waiting for a table is open. she said she would ask a manager. She never did and just stand there and talk to another co worker. So I had to talk to a waiting’s staff who helped me change the channel right away. I hope the management could look into that and talk to the host. After all great restaurants in the neighborhood!!!

Really great atmosphere! The food was simply amazing. I had the elk special. I've never had elk and had no idea what to expect but WOW! My colleague got the fish special and said it was amazing. Staff was very friendly. We had a colleague who needed to eat and run, the waiter made sure he order a faster cooking meal and made sure it came out very quickly! The water really went above and beyond and it was greatly appreciated.

I dined at BLVD Kitchen within three weeks of the other and had two very different experiences. The first experience, I ordered the buffalo shrimp during happy hour. I was served three enormous, crunchy shrimp with just the right amount of buffalo sauce, and when I bit into them they were succulent-cooked to perfection. I also ordered the calamari which were lightly breaded, crisp, tender and juicy as well. The waitress was attentive, polite and professional. The second experience, I was so impressed with the buffalo shrimp that I had to try the buffalo wings. They were quite disappointing. The wings were over cooked, hard, and when I bit into them they had the color and texture of chicken leftover from the night before (refrigerated). The waitress asked how the wings were and I told her they were hard. She looked at me in disbelief, and asked me if I was sure. I wanted to take a wing and hit it with the plate so she could hear the sound those drums made but I kept my composure. When I told her yes I am sure. She apologized, actually offered a box for the wings, walked away to return with the bill. I am giving this place three stars because the buffalo shrimp are amazing but the buffalo chicken wings were anything but.

First time here. Ordered off the happy hour menu and everything was really good. We went at 4:30 on a Friday night and the bar area was packed full. By the time we left at 6 the whole place was full. All staff were very friendly.

Nice place in shopping center in Minnetonka. It has decent outdoor seating as well as good food. Nice overall.

First things first. Ambiance is pretty good, and service very friendly. Blvd Chili Shrimp & Avocado Salsa is misleading; it's mostly tortilla chips. Bread Service is decent. Crab Cake BLT is mediocre, but the truffle fries (upgrade) are really good. 1/2 Rotisserie chicken also passable. Saving grace: The Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass looked good and tasted pretty good. Overall, I'm not sure if I'll ever revisit this place again, given that there are so many other options around.

It was great. Their crab cake eggs benedict was very unique. Nice environment for adults with or without kids. Was pleasantly surprised to discover this restaurant tucked behind other stores that I have passed by before so many times.

First time going to this restaurant for both my friend and I, and we were both very excited to try it. Unfortunately, we had a horrible experience. Apparently, they only allow certain tables for their Happy Hour. We weren't made aware of this until they already sat us down (at a table that didn't serve it).We were asked to get up from our table they sat us at, and go on a wait of at least 45 minutes aka after happy hour ended. So, we wasted time sitting at table to not be served. Plus, they don't take reservations for small parties.
