Yeah, I'd call this the better of the two Chinese buffets in town. Staff is friendly but ultimately leave you in peace. The food is usually well stocked and hot - just make sure you go during a busy time so that everything is fresh. Only knocking a star because going with a group can be a bit of a hassle, seating-wise (unless you call ahead) and the desserts overall tend to be a little stale. But more like 4.5

Most of the time everything is very fresh. Love their Grill area. There is a slight language barrier, but it's not enough to make me not want to go there. One server is very "sometimey". Sometimes she nice sometimes she's not. She definitely acts like you're bothering her. Bad attitude ruines it for me every time.

This is the worst place I've ever been. If you haven't been here before and are considering it, I highly suggest going elsewhere. There's hardly any food options here. Less options then any buffet I've ever seen. Can't even contain my disappointment. I think I ate about 3 bites of old food before I lost my appetite completely.

World Buffett is a great place to eat. My husband and I are eating healthier. They have a great salad bar with a big variety of vegetables. We don't eat any of the deep fried foods when we eat there. We head to the magnolia grill which offers healthier foods like angel hair spaghetti and we top it with vegetables and fresh chicken or shrimp as my husband likes. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food used to be very welly cooked and it was an enjoyable experience. The last time that we went there was totally different, our table was extremely sticky and the food was a bit cold. There is only a couple of things that I would consider eating, their sushi selection could be better, there is only two types of sushi available. Their servers are good, they take plates away fast and are on top of filling drinks. But there is nothing that is really pulling me back in to go again.

The staff was rude. The food was mediocre at best. I asked the waitress for chop sticks and she told me rudely that they were over there. She acted as if i was a bother to help. The food was awful. The chair I sat in felt like it would collapse at any moment. I will NEVER go back there. I would recommend avoiding it like the plague.

I'm not sure why they call this "World" Buffet when it's almost all Chinese food. We went tonight expecting some variety and were pretty disappointed when it was just Chinese food, mashed potatoes and a salad bar. They had onion rings and a Mac n' cheese label but they were filled with more trays of Chinese food. The food itself was pretty good and was fully stocked which is why my review is 3 stars instead of 1. The staff is decent and cleared plates immediately but we didn't get a refill on drinks until asking someone that wasn't our waiter. When we finally did get a drink refill, he seemed pretty upset that he was asked to do his job. Overall it was an experience. Not good or bad, just an experience. We probably won't be going back.

Your going to feel very very full leaving this place. Much to choose from and its an Asian smorgasbord! They have every thing from hibachi style grill to salad bar. Soups, shrimp, beef and chicken. You name it! The only downfall is the clientel can be obnoxious and loud. Go during the off times and its more pleasant. They server the same things around the clock.

World buffet right here in Delta Township Lansing is one of my favorite places. I have patronized this buffet restaurant for almost 20 years at its various locations here in Delta. I can always count on it for a clean, bright environment with lots of people getting good value for their dining dollar. It is essentially an Asian buffet with a seafood flavor. It opens before the lunch hour each day. Dinner menu starts every day at 3:30 or 4. That's when additional seafood such as salmon, mussels, a variety of shrimps as well as fruits de mer are added to the buffet serving trays. :-) The food is well-prepared and is generally well maintained throughout the day. This place is especially busy on weekends, of course, and sometimes on Saturday or Sunday you may have to wait a few minutes to get through the check in line. World buffet also provides for takeout dining at a per pound price. One aspect of the World buffet that I just recently began to enjoy was the fact that they have have a hibachi styled grill where you can choose from a wide or variety of ingredients including chicken, scallops, beef and pork and Asian vegetables. Pick what you want, throw in a couple of eggs, and leave it with the hibachi grill Master for about 5 or 10 minutes and you have a truly custom made plate of food cooked to your preference, a warm and fresh treat! The grill service is at no additional charge beyond the regular buffet admission rate, but most of the patrons are only too happy to throw in a couple of bucks into the tip jar for the chefs. They also have some sushi items available as a part of their set up. Generally the prices here are very competitive and reasonable. The dinner admission price is approximately 10 or $11 at this time and well worth it. They have a great salad bar with fresh fruits also. They are located only a block or two from the Lansing Mall off of West Saginaw highway here in Delta. It's well worth the short trip out here. They're open most holidays, and they usually stay open till 9 p.m. or slightly later. They serve a very diverse clientele and have patrons of all ethnic backgrounds and nationalities coming here to enjoy the food. The clients generally get along well in a peaceful dining environment. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. The physical plant is usually kept clean and the food is displayed in a way that is attractive.

We are visiting Lansing on a trip with our daughters school team for the 40th Annual Odyssey of the Mind World Finals and ate dinner here before awards. We are often skeptical of buffets and cleanliness of them. World Buffet did not disappoint with a huge variety of fresh items on every bar, hibachi DIY style, sushi, American and Chinese buffet favorites, salad bar, and dessert bar. This was more inexpensive than the usual chain buffet at Golden Corral for our family of four. It was $39 and some odd cents for the four of us including drinks.

Was there today. The food was aweful and I now have food poisoning. When I left I had an odd after taste that still hasn't left my tongue. Brushing didn't help just a bit later vomiting ensued. Please don't go to this establishment. I will pursue with better business bureau.

Pro: Have been going here for many years. Wonderful staff. Good variety of quality food. Buffet is well maintained. Food looks and tastes fresh. No extra charge for sushi bar which is quite good. Create your own stir fry made fresh in front of you on a voluntary tip basis. Try the egg Foo young with brown sauce, fried bread (sugar donut) dipped in sweet and sour sauce. Great way to get your kids to eat their veges. Green beans are amazing. My kids love the fruit and salad bar. Oh, and don't forget to make yourself a brownie sundae. Lunch discount prices until 3:30pm Mon-Sat. Dinner and Sunday more seafood is offered and price is a little more. Con: I don't care for the bathrooms. Again poor lighting makes me squeamish.

While by no means the absolute best quality of food, as far as buffets go this one is rather inexpensive and still gives you a fair assortment of choices--though mostly of the Chinese food variety, obviously. You won't hear me complaining about eating here though, and my whole family likes to have get togethers to eat in their Lansing Community Room here.

Best things about it that in addition to the dishes they prepare, there is ghe option to create your own stir fry with lots if meat, seafood, and vegetable options.
