We just happened upon this place while in Canton. Looked up the reviews and saw they were pretty good so we decided to check it out. From the outside it looked like they were closed but the sign said open. We went in and we were the only customers tbere. We were waited on right away. The place looked clean although the booth across from us was empty and hasn't been bussed yet. The service was fast, accomodating and friendly. The food was very tasty. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area and looking to grab some grub to check this place out.

I'd leave no stars if I could, Sat down for almost 30 minutes and never received a drink order while 2 other families came in after us and got served right away, when I told the owner all she had to say was sorry and still didn't take any orders after a longer wait I left with my family and then told her I wouldn't be back she said ok, didn't even care one bit not a sorry or anything what a waste of my time.

My first shock was the prices; "Bowl of Soup w/pita $6" There were many others that one is just my favorite. I ordered the shish kafta. It looked sad. It was worse than it looked. It was obviously not fresh. It was straight from the microwave, cold in the middle. The hommous was orange and tasted like no other hommous that I have ever tried. That is not a compliment. There was simply nothing positive about my visit. I was there at lunch time and there were 4 other tables occupied so I guess the word is out. Anyone giving this place a good review probably owes money to the owner.

The owner and staff are very friendly. Because it's not overly busy you get personalize treatment. I've been there a few times on Fridays and the fish is ok. Sometimes a little slow on the all-u-can-eat refill but still great service.

They came in and cater to all of us at TARGET CANTON SOUTH for black Friday. The breakfast / lunch / dinner was wonderful. We never ran out of food, it was so nice not to worry about bring in a meal and having people so nice take good care of all of us employees...Thank you.....

I went there with my family for breakfast, and I would rate the experience about average. Nothing is special here, maybe the service is, but food quality, quantity, and pricing are about the same everywhere else. One thing though, the gents restroom is not clean at all.

Probably the worst dining experience I have ever had. I bought the Groupon which was a great deal and I was excited to go. I have bought other similar Groupons and had great turn outs. My waitress was down right RUDE. Refused to talk to us, walked away about 3 times while I was trying to talk to her, gave me the wrong receipt then turned around said "let me see that". Reached completely over me and my food, while I was eating, to take a plate that I still had food on. Then, while checking out, she rudely took my receipt and slammed it down in front of her. Sadly, because of her I will never return to this place even though I did enjoy my food. Please consider spending your money elsewhere.

Why Five? Lighting awesome. Table height perfect. They have a build your own burger program on the menu. Shades were drawn. Room temp perfect. Employees awesome and respectful......relaxing environment for a Sunday afternoon too. Lots of space between the aisles. The food was delicious and warm.

We got there for our lunch and got our menus and silverware and sat there for half an hour without anyone coming to take our order or even order our drinks! Then people came after us and they got their food before we even got to order our drinks! So disappointed. Especially when we brought it up with the owner and she didn't even care! Worst experience!!

Over priced and seasoned way too much. $40 for 3 meals, 2 patty melt meals (one with onion rings other with fries) and cheeseburger meal with curly fries. All three meals tasted differently than anywhere else we been to. Do not recommend this place, after 2 times eating there. Lesson learned....

Today was my first time coming here. I thought it would be nice to surprise my husband with lunch while he was at work, So I stopped here to order him a Philly cheese steak sub and fries. My order was made in a timely manner and the lady that took my order was very nice. However once I got to my husbands job and surprised him with lunch from here and flowers ( from else where), he opened the container and the food looked amazing!!! Until he picked up his. Philly stark sub and took a bite. Barely missing the damn HAIR , A LONG HAIR AT THAT!!!! That was in his sub wrapped all in it!!!! This was my first and LAST VISIT TO THIS PLACE!!!! Of course I had to go back to get my money back but will NEVER RETURN AGAIN

I held my breath when I came to this place hoping it would be good. What a joke. First of all, the monkeys that gave this place good ratings sounded like they were paid-go on, read their reviews. I went there on a Sunday night and was one of only a few diners in there...so the food should have been PERFECT. The idiot making my fries didn't cook them all the way. That was a first for me, a 'cook' that can't even cook French fries, and the coney sauce was so vapid and runny I had to put salt on it. Another first for me, salt on coney sauce. The coney sauce also had a disgusting corny flavor to it like they put corn flakes in it instead of beef. My gyro, had only 3 pieces of meat in it-super cheap. I asked for no tomatoes on it, but the moron put a mountain of nasty looking, grey tomatoes on it. When I sent it back, I got the same gyro with tomatoes still on it. I would rather starve than give this lousy place my business again.

This was a horrible lunch! Started out with having to wait for a server. Then our food was brought without any silverware. Belgium waffle without any maple syrup. That didn't bring the side of bacon we ordered. The chicken quesadilla was terrible. My 12 year old son wouldn't eat it( and he eats everything). When asked if I could re order a waffle for him, because he wouldn't eat it, she asked her manager if the quesadilla would be taken off our bill. The reply was, no. So the replacement waffle came without silverware again! Really! Canton needs to shut them down.

They have awesome food. There isn't anything that I don't like. But my favorite is the Eggs Benedict. The restaurant is very clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. Their food is excellent!

Well the restaurant has a nice color scheme, comfy booths, good isle space, and the furniture is not ripped up. They have a "build your own burger" section and I LOVE that!! And I got the veggie patty on rye. Yum. And the Saganaki was Delicious!! The floor is pretty clean and I didn't see any cracks. The shades are very nice and were drawn to block out the sun from our eyes . The lighting is nice, I'm very picky about lighting being too close or too bright. There are some long tables with booth on 1 side and chairs on opposing side that would be Great for a Group of 20. Also I'm very particular about my coffee. Theirs was Delicious!! They also have a LOT to choose from on the menu, including a Dozen or more Desserts. The prices are Fair. There's an "All you can Eat Fish Fry" on Fridays from 11am-8pm. The Spacing between my body and the table is perfect, not too close, not too far away and the table height is perfect. The padding in the booth is comfy and clean. They also have chill soft rock playing throughout the restaurant. It's not too loud. All in All this is a Fantastic Establishment. Wonderful Environment, I am Very Impressed.

Village Family restaurant was a nice experience. I went there for breakfast. They are reasonably priced for that. A breakfast special,pick 3 items for $4 or pick 4 items for $5. They have many choices for breakfast,which makes them a little different. A good experience...all in all !.

I normally default to 5 stars but there were a couple small things that made this less than perfect. I love that they are quick and cordial and their process are as expected. I do really like chorizo and was disappointed pointed that they didn't have that. That aside the for was good with a bit of hot sauce and the coffee was decent. One other thing I noticed is the big sign saying employees must was hands in the bathroom with an almost empty soap dispenser... Otherwise a pleasant experience.

High prices for not much food. The food was not anything special and portions were very small. Village melt was about 6 bites and all gone. Service was ok but not anything special. I will not return too many other coneys in the area that serve more food for the money.

The food was not very good. I ordered the Mexican breakfast scramble. What I expected to recieve was an iron skillet which was used to fry my potatoes and onions crispy with two fried eggs laid over the top, with guacamole and toast on the side. What I actually received was a decorative plate that was shaped like a skillet, mushy fried potatoes (microwaved from frozen), guacamole that tasted like a refrigerator, with two fried eggs laid on top and two tiny slices of toast on the side. Now, I am not picky at all. My breakfast yesterday was a cup of hash browns and egg muffin from Pilot, which I thought was ok... So that just shows you what a low bar I am setting. Waitress was friendly, good service. I Was waiting for an appointment, so I stayed for awhile, the place was empty from 7am to 9am, only 3 customers! For all of the folks rating this establishment highly, where are you??? That's what I thought...

Nasty! My Mom and I went here during some shopping, we thought we'd try it out. We were the ONLY customers there. Her coffee was cold. My cup was dirty. We both ordered chicken wraps and I didn't hear nor smell any chicken cooking, and it was also a little cold so they must just reheat food in the microwave. It was way too fast (5-10 mins after we ordered) so not fresh. Neither of us could finish our meals. The hummus was gross. Don't go here if you can avoid it!

Service has been good if not great on multiple visits. The fries are very, very good, being the perfect balance of crispy and greasy. Burgers and hot dogs are tasty, and the breakfast is quite good, too. Never had a bad meal here.

This place needs to be cleaned up !! My table had stains on it from the last people who eat there. The floors were littered with used napkins and straw wrappers under three or four of the tables. It was dark and gloomy when I walked in because all the shades were down and it was a cloudy day outside. The window sills next to my booth look like they haven’t been wiped down in a long time gross. The booth I sat in had ripped material on the back rest. Whoever is managing this place is missing the boat on what makes a restaurant a nice place to come back to. On a good note my waitress was extremely sweet and attentive to my table. My breakfast arrived and it was hot and tasted good. I would give this place a 5 out of 10 and hope that they would take this post seriously and make sure they get this place cleaned up. Also please don’t forget to wipe up the salt and pepper shakers ☹️

If i could put no stars i would, my mom and i went to this restaurant to try it out and we should’ve know how “great” the restaurant is by seeing only TWO people in the whole place when we got there (figured there was because after the holiday) however when my mom got her side salad the lettuce, tomato and cucumber were all ROTTEN the waiter never came to see what was wrong, so we decided to get up and go to the cash register to pay for our drinks and leave, the waiter said that our food was ready at the window and asked if we wanted it, we obviously said no PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE, if a SALAD is bad then the rest of the food there must be questionable too please just go to L. George’s Coney Island down the road instead ITS WAY BETTER and the people at George’s seem way nicer than they are
