Actually very good. They live up to their name. If you want fresh and hot food this is the place. Yesterday I went to hardee's hamburger and the food was room temperature. What a difference this place makes!

Taystee's is the best best burgers I've ever had in my life. The Nachos burger is my favorite, but the other options on the menu are also fantastic. All the ingredients taste super fresh. The customer service by the friendly staff are also great. They have a small sit down area inside, which I wish was a little bit bigger, but it's always kept clean by the staff.

A colleague told me about Taystee's, so I had to give it a try. All I can say it made my favorites list. Very good burgers and the fries are crispy & excellent. Service was great as well. Be warned...Parking is limited. I'll definitely be back!

It was good I ordered a BBQ burger but the sauce was too strong and the sitting is very small. This wouldn't be the best place to have a party cause it's size but the food is still pretty good.

It takes 15-20 minutes to get your food made but the line is always wrapped around the shop because the burgers are great and made in front of you. With the quality and size of the food you'd think you're going to spend an arm and a leg but realistically it's barely more then a typical McDonald's meal

If you want a big burger with lots of unique fixings this is the place for you. Lots of unique spins, many options are spicy. My favorite and staple is the Mac Attack with fried Mac n cheese. You're eating in a gas station, but it's clean and the service is friendly.

Taystee's burger is a hidden gem! If you are keen on ambiance; you may want to skip this one since the restaurant itself is within a gas station with limited seating and parking. However, what it lacks in atmosphere, it makes back in spades through their insanely flavorful burgers, wings and poutine. The food is halal which is a good option for those who are keen on it. The staff is also very friendly. Definitely a burger joint not to be missed!

Excellent burgers-- a little messy but that was expected with specialty burgers. Definitely worth trying. Seating is very limited though because of gas station location and same with parking. Bathroom is a small single room that looks dingy. We ordered the volcano burger which was super spicy but delicious and the mushroom swiss burger which was also great.

Juicy delicious burgers made to order right in front out you. I had mine with Doritos put on it. The kids enjoyed every bite. I strongly recommend Taystee’s burgers right across from the Ford Wyoming Drive-in. Dinner and a movie there you go. A perfect combo.

Worse burger and fries ever! I saw this place on instagram and it looked so good and I went today. I got home and started eating and i instantly felt sick. I had the notch-yo-burger and chili cheese fries. the burger tasted old and very disgusting. The fries where the same and it was dried up. Positive note..... It looks good while they are fixing it infront of you. Negative note... The taste is horrible!

We decided to eat here while returning from from Chicago to Toronto. I heard about these guys through a youtube channel a few years ago. Finally had a chance to swing by Detroit and check them out. Food was really good. I had the nacho burger and the chilli cheese fries. Both were really good and devouvered with in minutes. I wish i had a bigger appetite to try out the other stuff. Will be back soon.

This had been on my list of places to visit for awhile now. I finally popped in with my 11mo old baby after getting rained out of the African World Festival in Detroit and I was not disappointed. The restaurant itself is a little clunky: literally think of any other gas station/eatery combo, except I think it's safe to say the deliciousness has outgrown this space. When I walked in on a Sunday night, it was still bustling as if it were a weekday lunch hour. I didn't know what to order-everything looked great, so the cashier recommended me the Hawaiian Burger, which is the perfect blend of savory and sweet. There's like half a dozen French fry flavors, but I went with lemon pepper because the Detroit in me is obnoxious. The portions were just right, I left stuffed. My only complaint is there isn't enough parking - because, let's face it: no one came here for actual gas...

Best burgers I’ve had. I had the Supreme Ranch Burger and the Mushroom Swiss, both were amazingly delicious. The place is located in a gas station and they are always so busy. Seating is limited. Service is great.

I'm a fan of the burgers. One bite and it definitely lived up to the hype. Ended up going there 3 times and plan to go again if I'm anywhere near the area. Highly recommend any of the burgers. Yeah, it's that good and I can see why they'd won the Detroit Burger Brawl in 2016. Only downside is the limited seating capacity due to it's size, hence only 4 stars.

First time ordering food from here. Ordered a custom burger (Sesame bun, single patty, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, extra pickles, cool ranch Doritos) and Cajun fries for take out. The fries were undercooked and inedible. The burger had mayo instead of mustard and the cool ranch Doritos (which seem to be a staple here) were stale. The beef patty did not taste fresh. Overall, the burger was edible, nothing more. I hope this is a one time experience because this place has otherwise great reviews. Every place has their off days. Will try again in the future and update accordingly.

I was going to give a 1 star review, but I decided not to; I thought Haram. I went in with a friend, we ordered our meals, and it was wrong from the beginning. I asked for a chicken burger, gluten free bread, no cheese and Cole slaw on the side. My friend ordered chicken wings, and curly fries. They gave me his curly fries with my burger and no coleslaw. When asked to switch the burger onto a different plate, and add coleslaw on the side, we were looked at funny; as if the employees were flabbergasted at the thought that they may have got the order wrong. They separated the orders, and put the Cole slaw on my burger; instead of the side like I asked. I took the cole slaw off, took a small bite, and realized there is cheese on the burger; I'm lactose intolerant. I took it to the cashier, he was very nice and said they will remake the order. While I waited, I asked the line cook to make sure it's a gluten free bun, I also have a wheat allergy; his reply was very rude in tone, and seemed as though he was displeased. When my order was finally finished, it was handed to me by a different gentleman, to which I said to him in Arabic الله يسلم يديك. May allah bless, or bring peace, to your hands. He said sorry, which I respect him for doing instead of being rude. All in all, the food was very good; just some miscommunication. I hope they realize, that they shouldn't be rude to customers; or employ someone who looks displeased with his job and has to be rude to customers when he screws their order up. The cashier was very cordial, and respectful, so was the guy who officially showed me there is no cheese or coleslaw on the burger before handing it me with an apology. Much respect.

These guys are always so kind, seems like they take pride in what they do which is hard to find these days. Not your typical burger place. My only complaint, I wish they were closer!

If you're ever in the Dearborn area, this is a must-try burger spot. I've eaten here many time over the past few years during all times of the day. I have never been disappointed with the food or the service. Even when the place is slammed with people, the workers are very courteous with taking orders and making sure everyone receives their food in a timely manner. I have only tried a few of their burgers (I like sticking to what I know), but there has been no change in how big it was or what it tasted like.

Truly amazed at the quality of food from a gas station, it's incredible. Not only is the food great, but it's rather cheap as well. The staff here is really warm and it also has a fantastic atmosphere. Most importantly, the food is really delicious, and their special burger of Wednesdays is probably their best item, really loved it. By the way, a pointer for all the Muslim brothers is that this place serves halal food too so no worries. Needless to say, burgers are the specialty here but you can also get fries as well as hotdogs here too. Most importantly, however, it's not a typical place to eat at a gas station which you might have realised by now, on the contrary, this place definitely has what it takes in terms of atmosphere and ambience at least, to challenge the very best in the business. Really impressed with the service and suffice to say, I loved my experience. Looking forward to future interactions with this amazing burger place. Cheers

Looks like the quality decrease the longer they're open. In the beginning it was really good, but lately meat is so greasy you can't taste anything but grease regardless of the burger kind. I'll give it another try and update the review accordingly. Update: visited two days ago and got the original with fries. Much better than before.

I'm not a fan of burgers but this place has my new favorite with the Ali's Notch-yo Burger. It's spicy with lots of cheese and chips, it's a great burger. I've also had their Breakfast burger and Taystees original. The sauce is great and breakfast burger is messy but delicious. Only issue I had was parking and sitting to eat is weird because it's in a gas station but it's worth it.

I'm paying for a side sir I'm paying. I can go to ananas cafe get the best burger and it comes with fries for $6.50 when you ask for a side they give it to you in a large box. I'm never going to this place ever again.

This place has the best burgers in Detroit and honestly, the best burgers I've had in general. They win the local competitions and even when I went to a burger place in Toronto, the owner asked if we knew about Taystee's and got competitive with trying to make a better burger and (imo) wasn't successful. It gets busy and there's not much parking because its connected to a gas station so keep that in mind! Also, its halal which is a plus
