Hands down the BEST restaurant in Mexican town. Order the enchiladas, you won’t regret it. Massive portion sizes and unbeatable prices! Plus they have a gated parking lot with security cameras monitoring every inch of the lot. The staff was very friendly too.

The worst service and GARBAGE food. I asked for no seasoning on the fajitas. I told the waitress it was salty and then the cook came out to argue with me. No wonder why the place only had 3 tables. PLEASE- Don't go you will only get disappointed and food almost thrown at you! Save your money. I used to like this place, but even the quality of food declining.

Food Terrible, don't waste your money. Refried beans were watered down no flavor. Enchiladas was a can sauce. Rice was hard. Waitress was never available.

It used to be good but not anymore. The day we went it was not busy at all. There were two waitresses for a total of four tables. Took 30 minutes to get our drinks. Food didn't arrive for an hour. And it wasn't good at all. One person ordered fried ice cream after being told they were out of all other desserts and it was ice cream covered with frosted flakes. Found out the waitress was also acting as hostess, cashier, answering phone, and making drinks (which were also horrible, only ordered one). Aside from that server was very nice considering she was doing four jobs.

Delicious authentic in house -made Mexican cuisine. Most corn tortillas are made by hand, many vegetarian and vegan options. Easy to switch any regular item to vegan by adding either beans or veggie fajitas. Also delicious juices made on site. One star missing for consistently slow service. Seems the servers are usually too busy with other tasks to adequately take time to serve their tables.

Excellent. Local spot with enormous portions. They specialize in authentic mexican dishes. The sopes were delicious. Salsa served with fresh chips right when we sat down. Definitely a spot I will visit again.

Do not know why its so hard to make a torta ahogada de milanesa de pollo .... Like why can you only do that with chopped meat.. Doesnt make sense ..... The cheese you are using is different from before but it tastes a lot more greasier .

Cheap, deLICIOUS, and a comforting, casual ambiance. Love a good $1.25 corn-tortilla taco!! Honestly, I forgot which specific tacos I ordered, but getting them individually (as opposed to a set) was plenty satisfying. Best Mexican food I've found in Detroit yet - and it's been a struggle finding anything good after moving back from Houston. Will be back soon!!

I use to go here quite often when I was younger and the food and the atmosphere was amazing and now this place really went to sh*t. Smh Food was dry and dull and they didnt even bring out the correct order. NF use to be a great place to eat and drink have fun, now it went downhill with new management and owner. Your better off going to their past predecessors El Caporal at least there they’ll bring you food worth your buck. Trust me!

Service couldn't have been better, Food, flavor-wise, was better than expected. A few years ago, I used to eat here often, then the quality of food declined, so I stopped going. I was invited by a friend and I was hesitant in going. I had 3 issues: First- There was a stone in one of our dishes, it was assumed it was from the beans. Second- They charged more than the menu price for one of the drinks. I presumed it was an error, so I mentioned it to the waiter. He proceeded to check and came back and told me that the menu had that price. I showed him the menu that we had on the table and then the manager came. The manager who turned out to be a new owner was adamant that the higher price was on their menu and that we had to pay that price. So I proceeded in telling her that I understood what she was saying but the menu that I HAD, had a lower price. She said that the higher price was in the system. She said that people might have removed the updated sticker price from the menu. She said that she had just got the restaurant 4 months ago and that they hadn't received the new menus, and that they hadn't checked for missing stickers on the old menus that the restaurant already had. This had gone on for many minutes, way longer than it needed, thankfully my friend came into the conversation asking straight up "will you or won't you honor the price on our menu?" We got a hesitant yes after a while. Third- The manager/owner's response was not the best. When the stone almost broke my friends molar, her comment towards it was "when you eat beans, you are bound to find stones". When the price issue arose, instead of being stuck on repeating herself, she could have just said yes or no and avoided the clash. The difference in price was not much, it was not about the money, it just seemed wrong. It makes me wonder if they have gotten away with this before.
