Just came here to ask if there's a wait for 2 people. The host without a greeting said what do you mean? Are you meeting someone here? So I said what? I'm asking if there's a wait for 2 people, to sit down, to order food, to eat. He said oh yeah it's 25 minutes. He was so rude and dry. What a shame. It was my first time here and won't be coming back.

Roadside B&G is one of my favorite Bill Roberts restaurants. The food is excellent and well-prepared. The wait staff is experienced and well-trained. A nice selection of wine and Cocktails that are prepared by experienced bartenders. The environment is casual and includes outdoor seating that is seasonal. This is a very popular restaurant.

The daily fresh fish specials are some of the best i have ever had the privilege of tasting. This is coming from an avid fisherman with multiple chefs in the family. Everything else on the menu here is nothing short of greatness, with an amazing atmosphere and service!

I’ve been to Roadside once. Our server was great and knowledgeable, even though I only had a neat whiskey. Our table shared 2 or 3 orders of balsamic-glazed brussels sprouts with dried cranberries... I couldn’t stop eating them, they are to die for! It was a very memorable dish and will be the reason I return or recommend this restaurant to others.

Have yet to order anything, whether a regular menu item or a special, that wasn't just great! Highly recommend this nicely tucked away in plain view eatery. You won't be disappointed!

Racist in a slight way. We waited for our food for one hour while there are no other customers in the restaurant. I was waiting for a cup of water but nobody showed up to give me one for over 20 min. I feel bad because I really liked the interior design and the atmosphere there, but the service there is very slow and you can see waitress and waiters were chatting around. When the waitress asking my friend what to eat, she even tapped her shoulder like talking to a kid. She never had an eye contact with me and I was the person who always said "Thank you". The food was not impressive or I will say it was not good, the shrimp was not fresh so my throat was itched. If you don't want to ruin your weekend night, I don't recommend here.

This place had a cool atmosphere and some interesting cocktails. Our waitress was nice & attentive. The had a decent selection of Michigan beers but I do wish they had more Michigan wines. The tomatoe soup was delicious & I appreciate that they were conscience of the romaine recall. My salad was excellent with spring mix. They have a decent variety of foods for vegetarians. The brussel sprout app was ok, I love fried brussel sprouts & cherries but the balsamic was a little overpowering for me. Would definitely return!

This place is excellent! I've never had a bad dish here, burgers to seafood it's all great! Beers can be pricey for run of the mill stuff but this is a high-end casual restaurant. Came here for brunch the last time in and had great service and an excellent chicken and pancakes plate. I'm sure I'll be back sometime soon when I'm in the area again. Cheers!

This is a 3 until I have a dine-in experience my experience was I walked in the door and still there for maybe about 30 seconds no one came so I could tell you to walk towards the bar where they were glasses and staff were standing around talking so I turned around and went to set down back up front Chris came up to me and asked me how can I be helped and I told him I wanted to order something that I read offline about the mahi-mahi or the shark taco or something like that either way it was flavorless and season list if they season it just maybe some pink Himalayan sea salt and maybe a little black pepper throw some green onions on there and put a rice somewhere near it it wouldn't be that bad but it was still good I ate it but I was high so either way I'll dine in probably this weekend coming up so I look forward to my own damn review

After four years of frequenting roadside it is clear that it has become one of our go to destinations for a night out. Consistently outstanding service and food. Honestly can't say that I have had a time where I left disappointed. Love the outside patio in the summer.

Had lunch there 2 days in a row while working in the area. Absolutely 100% pleased with both meals. I'd almost go as far as to say I was blown away by the food. The Short Rib Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup was heavenly and the Kobe Meatloaf was melt in your mouth perfection. The decor inside is pretty cool. And, though it seemed (to me at least), an odd location for a restaurant, that didn't seem to matter as the place filled up both days. If I'm in the area again at meal time you can bet I'll be going back.

Phenomenal ribs and Brussels sprouts!! The baby back ribs were crispy and individually cut, I've never had ribs like that before. The sauce was great too. The bread is buttered biscuits and they are great, especially fresh out of the oven. We also had Michigan cherry salad and tomato soup to start, both very good and worth getting. Cozy atmosphere. Good service. Will be coming back

Friendly staff, but the food quality was not very good. Outside of the Brussels sprouts appetizer, the food was mediocre at best. Potato soup was watery and salty, Caesar salad was under dressed and just off tasting. My cocktail seemed to be forgotten because when it arrived, it was watery and almost warm, all the ice had melted. My friend's food was not much better and the taco appetizers are super small portion ... Like 3in tortillas, if that. Her dessert was supposed to be pudding texture and it was soupy, at best. Again, the staff was nice and it wasn't overly crowded on the Thursday night so we were able to stay a while to talk afterwards, but I wouldn't go back. The only thing that was done right was the beer mug was chilled fit you to pour your own $5 bottle of Bud Light into. Not draft.

Great food - with a hint of a southern influence and a fantastic variety of seafood options. Their brunch is particularly awesome - not a ton of items (maybe 10) but eveything is delicious. The blueberry flapjacks are my particular fave - but always check the specials board before you order. It's also worth a stop to grab a quick drink (or two). Their bar program is phenomenal. Sidenote: the table bread is a biscuit. It's buttery and just salty enough. If I'm being honest - the biscuit is why I go to Roadside

Short rib tacos are small but pack a punch of flavor! Amazing! The panko chicken is great . Sauteed breaded chicken breast served hot and crispy with arugula and a lemon vinaigrette on top. Its excellent! They have a vegetarian burrito that I got with short run meet inside. It was great...it came filled with short rib, of course, squash, black bean, rice and corn. They serve warm biscuits for free, but sometimes you have to ask for them. I always request honey on the side. The best!! Last, but not least, they make a great mixed drink!

Being not too impressed with the food, the service I experienced was awful. While the restaurant wasn't too busy I had to wait more than an hour for my food and also the waitress unbelievingly impolite. She would come with the dish and toss it on the table, leaving without even staring at us. I felt very bad since I went through a totally different experience when I visited with my professors who I guess are so called "the regulars."

The environment is casual, (B&G, Bar and Grill),and contemporary. The food was the star. This is not the expected bar and grill fare. I had a hamburger...fabulous, and my husband had the Pile of Ribs. Despite our B&G choices the menu is varied with fish and beef courses. Vegetarians would find offerings to their liking. The rib sauce was sweetened with maple syrup...brilliant and delicious! Check out what's on the blackboard. I don't usually eat dessert, but I ordered the Butterscotch Pudding/w caramel sauce and toffee pieces. It is difficult to describe how luscious this desert was. To describe this desert as pudding is pedestrian. It is revelatory and sexy. I am not being hyperbolic here. I plan on taking a few women friends to this B&G for the experience...

Not from here but I’m pretty sure these are the driest ribs I’ve ever had. It took patience and several cups of water to finish these off. Being from Texas I liked the sauce it had.. however if these are supposed to be baked then “dipped in the fryer” you can’t forget them in there. Atmosphere was good and servers were great. I probably just had a bad batch.

I always loved the ambiance and food at B&G’s. HOWEVER, was very disappointed in my last visit. We invited close friends to go with us and I ordered the ribs. OMG, simply awful! They were honey and dry... hardly no meat. I asked the waitress if they were “tuggers”.. hate to have to pick them up. She said the meat falls off the bone.... NOT! Anyway, sorry to have to give this negative rating... just don’t order the ribs!!

Ordered the tacos from the appetizer menu. Expectation: 2 regular tacos, no sides. Reality: 3 mini tacos that could all lay flat in the palm of my hand together. Cost: $9. Tasted good though. Fish and chips rated by my co-diners, "ok for the price" and "pretty good" Waiter gave no information on what we ordered, and missed multiple requests for refills.

Terrible place. Just ordered and plain burger med/well. When it came out it was still rare. No big deal. Well after waiting 10 min for a new one, they brought out the old one just “brought up to temp” they said. Bottom line is don’t eat at a place to cheap to remake food when they messed up. Means they cut corners on other places too. Also the waitress was terrible too, blamed me for ordering it wrong.

I don't know how I've missed this jewel of a restaurant for more than 7 years. Really nice ambience and surprising menu farm fresh stuff beautifully prepared and presented. The brussel sprouts appetizer is extraordinary caramelized brussel sprouts split open served with some cranberries and balsamic glazed yum. The person I was eating with had sea bass which was really good and I had a broiled shrimp salad that was quite tasty. I'll definitely be back. I'm going to be telling friends. Check it out!

We hadn't been to Roadside B&G in quite a while. We were in the area the other day & we remembered it and headed back there for lunch. It was a nice day so we sat out on the patio in the shade. It was perfect. My husband ordered a salad and it was huge & really yummy. I opted for the turkey Reuben with the Russian dressing on the side, so it would be easy for dipping & easier to hold. It was loaded with turkey that was roasted turkey, not sliced deli meat. We both enjoyed the french fries and the setting was nice even though being on Telegraph it was a little bit loud. Our server was a bit missing in action but others came by and made up for him. All the food we've had here has been terrific and the scenery and the various seating areas are all fun.

My husband and I used to LOVE this place, but the last three visits have been poor. We were in Saturday 09/14 around 4:30pm (or so). Our waitress was very nice. However, the meals - horrible. The mahi tacos were very dry, overcooked and lacked flavor. The salmon patty/burger had zero flavor and the bun was so burnt. The other two times over the past 1.5 years yielded the same results. Also, the menu has NOT changed in years! We will not be back.

Go to this place, you won't be disappointed! I can't count how many times I've driven by this place and didn't even notice it. I had the opportunity to participate at a private event and got the opportunity to visit them. We had the lemon chicken accompanied by lemon drop martinis and they were great. The service was fast and very professional. The place has a car theme which is very fitting for metro Detroit. The room for private events is very convenient. Overall an amazing experience and we would definitely come back.

Expensive and my lemon panko chicken was just barely tolerable, but for $18 I ate it. My husband ordered the burrito with pork, $19, and he said it was good, but certainly not worth the money. The restaurant was also extremely hot. Maybe it was just because it was a hot day and we were sat near the window, but it was quite miserable. I think we would have been more comfortable sitting outside in the 80 some degree heat because at least there would have been a breeze. They earn one more star because our service was good. However, we will definitely not be back.

I don't think I would go back again. The interior decorations are decent and the pricing seemed about right.
