If you only have an hour for your lunch break this will not be enough time to be served here. By the time our food came we had to have it boxed because we had to leave. It was not at all busy either. The food was good but I was disappointed I didn’t get to eat it at the restaurant. The patio is really nice even though it’s in a high traffic area. I’m sure ya a fun place for after work drinks but I don’t recommend it for lunch.

Have not been in a long time because always had bad service/not enough help. We stopped by to shoot pool Dec 8, 2018 and there was a band playing. They were really pretty decent, and there was more than enough help. But there was only a dozen or so people there. Too bad Reno West has a poor service reputation, because that dance band should have packed them in!

Never again. This place strikes out on everything but atmosphere. Be warned. Last time I was here I had one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. My group, who make yearly treats to the area for football games, decided if we ever had to make the choice again, we will do pizza and a six pack and stay at the hotel then ever go back here. If you have a good time here, get served well, get the right food, get warm food, get good food, then you must be one of the lucky ones.

Pretty good service, food and drinks. Something is wrong though, they went without a blender during a warm fall season and could not make some of the most tasty, original, adult beverages in town (caymen-colada). For as much as drinks are a part of their menu, and the fact that Reno's is a chain around Lansing, why do you not have a stock pile of blenders ready to go? Somebody has to know this is a staple item for a bar. I'll be back there but this review will turn scathing if they still don't have a blender after this many months.

Just got back from Reno's for the last time. I was hanging out with a group of acquaintances in a side room and ordered a beer, the size (25oz) of which was not listed on the menu and the waitress didn't mention the price. The next smallest size was $8.50, but what I was charged was $12.50! Perhaps it was my fault for not asking. Normally I would have disputed it, but I was so angry that I didn't feel I could be civil, so I left a 15% tip and left without a word. I've been there before and knew they were over priced, but this was the last straw. Mediocre service with their prices and now this. I'm done with Reno's.

Good was decent but the drinks were laughably weak. I almost never drink and usually get drunk off two shots. After 3 drinks my girlfriend and I weren't even buzzed. She just turned 21 so maybe they assumed we wouldn't notice. I mean the drinks tasted great but probably because they contained basically no alcohol.

Overall ok. There burgers used to be good. The last 2 that I got had been ok at best. The last one had a weird smell to it. All of the rest of the food I have ordered from there is good. I wonder if they switched meat suppliers? If they did the need to find another one or switch back because this reduces the chance that I will visit them. Family celebration with drop in attendees. Staff was friendly and on top of keeping up with drinks and dirty dishes. Food very good. Several kids 12 and under. Had games that kept them busy and in need of quarters!! Would go back as a couple to try them again.

Update: Decided to give them a second chance. Service little better than first visit but only average. Happy hour liquor decent value. Two of us ordered food. Not good and way overpriced for what you got. Still one star. Original review: Service at patio bar bad. Sat 7 minutes with empty glass while bartender, severers and someone who looked like a manager were laughing talking and having a good time. It's not that I am against staff having a good time. I am against them doing it when customers need service.

There's was too many things wrong with my visit to type out. The food, how insanely long the food took, the service, the inability to figure out how to change the tv to a requested channel. Mind you it was the draft for March madness so I wasn't requesting a weird, rare channel. This place is just not what it used to be. Which honestly wasn't even saying a lot to start.

Would not recommend...came in with a reservation at 530pm was told they didn't have our reservation but we called 4 days prior then the service was so slow and they had a new girl work a party of 15 we did not leave until after 8 and our orders were wrong and one person didn't even get there order...if your going to be busy on a Saturday night you should have more then 2servers for the whole place....would not come back again and I don't even live in Lansing

Horrrror.. Waited an hour for the wrong food. They gave my dinner, literary to my Bestfriend at our table, they was dining in , I was take out. So now my 3 meal order has 2 dinners already an now have to cook me another plate. But they now dont have enough meat for my order then they do. Then my order still wasnt correct. Guess who's not the smart one? Me. Should have got my money back an walked. Pitiful. Far cry from past RENO'S.

I just went in to Renos at about 530 and was greeted by a pretty bartender who asked me what I would like to drink and eat I asked for a menu and a bourbon and Coke, I received the bourbon and Coke and it was a double however it was not very strong at all, I then ordered the shrimp platter which consisted only of about 12 pieces of fried shrimp and a cocktail sauce, That is ridiculous I paid $13 for about 10 to 12 pieces of fried shrimp and cocktail sauce without fries or vegetables or anything like that. I could have went to Wayback burger next-door and got a burger, fries, a milkshake and I only paid $13. This place is ridiculously overpriced and everyone is walking around like they would rather be somewhere else I would highly recommend against going hereditary

As a kid we would get the apple pie turnovers in the frozen section, this is not that dessert! This monster Apple pie turnover dessert feeds more than two people. It’s packed with warm apples, cinnamon and caramel goodness. Add the icecream on the side and it makes for a lovely dessert. Way to go Reno’s!

Went here the other day and I've always been a bug fan of Renos east, but this was the first time i was at Reno's West. Our server whose name was justus made this place a five star experience. He was extremely friendly and very helpful with everything. I'd recommend if you are on the west side of town you swing out here for fresh beer and excellent service.

We've been coming here for years for trivia, which is the only reason we keep returning. Recently they raise their food prices by $2 on most item which is ridiculous! The food is subpar and the service is a horrible most weeks. Sometimes we don't even get acknowledged after being there for 2 hours. We have to get our drinks from the bar, even though we are sitting at a table and see servers walk by us. We're constantly having to flag down our server for another drink or our bill. Even if there is an issue a manager just shrugs it off like yeah that's just how this place is run...sorry, here's your bill.

Classic west side sports bar popping for Spartans Sweet Sixteen win, but I was there for daughter's reserved semi-private wedding rehearsal dinner of pizza, beer, salad & a Sparty win with 20 people! Staff & service were superb, especially given March & wedding Madness!

I've been coming here for a few years, and I have to say the recent menu changes are pretty pathetic. They just recently hiked up their prices on all menu items. All appetizers are $9 - $10, and don't even get me started on the entrees. They are charging premium prices when it's just regular American fried food. The wait staff seems to forget that I'm there half the time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. You can find the same food cheaper at Franks Press Box.

Atmosphere was fun...looked like we had arrived just after a busy Friday dinner time. We chose a table near the fireplace to warm up after being outside in the cold for a few hours so that was nice. It was a bit to be greeted but too long to get things like drinks, then menus a bit later from another table that looked like they had given up and left. It was good that we were visiting during our wait or we'd have certainly left also. We stuck it out. Finally got our order taken, mind you it didn't seem terribly busy. It then took even longer to get our food. I almost feel like they were hoping we would leave too. I was disappointed that my fries were not even fairly warm, and the rye on my Ruben was so hard and dry it made it difficult to eat but that was just as well the $12 sandwich was not delicious. Others had burgers, none impressed by anything but the sweet potato fries one had. Any requests for the waitress such as a root beer no ice was ingnored, it came with ice. Regular mayo instead or Chipotle mayo on one burger was also ignored. Summed up it seems to be a good place to meet up with friends, but I wouldn't count on good food and timely service. Although the menu was great looking, maybe their chef had gone home and whomever was left in the kitchen was just not skilled enough to execute those menu items.

Only 1 server for the whole section on a football Sunday was not adequate. Won't be back. There are other better options for food, beer and football.

There was an issue where the server took almost 30 minutes to come take our order. When she realized we had been sitting there she informed the manager. Our small group was so busy chatting that we hadn't really paid attention to how much time had gone by. The manager approached us, apologized, and offered us a free appetizer of our choosing. Decided to give Reno's another try but once again was disappointed. We’ve been here for well over an hour and still have not received our food. Out of 4 drinks ordered, two have been wrong (we were charged for one of the wrong drinks). Please schedule more than 2 servers to work on Sunday evening! Our waitress is working hard, but it’s impossible for her to keep up. Update: we got our food and my husband’s burger was burnt, managed to eat half of it. We won’t be coming back for dinner; not worth $65!!! Also, super dirty. The limited staff does not have time to clean.

They raised the prices on the menu but the food didn't improve. Half of the wait staff know nothing about beer or drinks. The beer we ordered was so watered down and when asked to replace it the waitress refused until we insisted it wasnt right. Used to be the go to after work spot but the over priced watered down beer last Saturday was the final straw.

They just raised their prices because you know how great Reno’s food and service is #horrible. Large pizza is $14 which is not great but whatever. But a topping is $4 a piece. So $18 for a large pepperoni pizza. Chicken fingers $13. Loaded waffle fries now $12. Any kind of craft beer is at least $9. The patio isn’t worth it. The owner here is taking advantage of the regulars and she knows it. She lives in a mansion in Dewitt on Clark road but apparently needs more money to finance the fancy flatware just purchased that makes no sense for a sports bar. Please someone buy Reno’s from this dumb person and save them before they lose all respectabilIty. Which is already low as ever because of the HORRIBLE service you get EVERY time you go there.

We were regulars in the early 00s and they were a little pricey then, now it's almost insulting. $6 for a small (12oz?) blue moon? This isn't a stadium, it's a bar with 6 people in it at 10pm on a Saturday night.

We had appetizers for dinner. The chicken taco stix.were great. We also had the calamari strips and dill pickles were good. The provolone sticks were not that good. The breading was way too thick. Lots of TV'S for viewing from everyone to watch. Got louder as the night progressed.

Horrible!!! The recent menu changes are terrible, and their prices are way too high for just bar food with poor customer service. The waitresses are forgetful and rude, I had a to go order just the other day of only 2 orders of sweet potato fries, and they forgot one, and when I realized I tried contacting them through email, it’s heen days and still no reply. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Other reviews are correct in saying their prices are ludicrous, $13 for just basic chicken strips, $5 for an order of fries, about $20 for a ONE topping pizza, and none of this food is special or even good.

Walked in and it smelled like a frat house with old stale beer. Waited about 10 minutes for service. Placed our order and did not receive what we ordered. One of our appetisers with queso was still on the cold side. Waited was nice enough, just not on point. Won't be back to this location. Reno North is allot better and cleaner.
