The subs are great . That is the reason I always return . But the wait time is always very long . Even the 6 motivated teenagers behind the counter can't change the fact that they make one or two servings of fresh fries at a time ....there has to be a better system . Also...if you call in advance , you will still have to wait . Thy simply do not serve any fries unless they are fresh ! I'm not sure if I'm complaining or am impressed . :) Either way , I recommend this place

Really pleased with their catering/large order services. Robbie was really easy to work with and accurately advised how many trays of subs to order for a party of 70. Everything was ready when I arrived to pick it up, several staff were also ready to carry out the 9 trays of subs, boxes of chips and bottles of success as well . I would definitely recommend them to someone providing lunch for a department or office.

This is really good, I had the italian. It's better than jimmy john's (cus I like hot subs), and much better bread than tubby's. It's on par with firehouse, potbelly and jersey mike's. I really liked it but can't say I have a preference between those last three. I'll probably choose whatever is closest when I get hungry! It's most similar style sub to firehouse in my opinion, so if you like that, you'll like this too.

Cashier was eating a cookie during our check out. He wiped his hands on his shirt before reaching for my debit card. I stood there incredulously. They asked us, several times, to sit down while we waited for our food-perhaps so we didn’t watch him eat as he prepare our fries and play in his phone while they were cooking! Not once did he wash his hands!!! I half expected him to grab a French fry off the tray when he delivered our food!

Skimpy on the meat. They are like Quiznos that measures out the food which the manager told me. You pay good money for a gourme sub. They put just the minimal on. The chicken and steak subs are barely anything on it as far as meat. The Italian one is fine, but just recently changed. I got the cordon blu and barely any chicken or ham on it. It really should not be even called a sub especially when you are paying like close to 9 bucks a sub. Spend your money elsewhere.

I don’t frequent chain restaurants as a rule. For Penn Station I make an exception however. The sandwiches, wraps, and even the salads are very good. The hand cut fries and Lemonade are fantastic. Try one of those chocolate chunk cookies too. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I’ve noted they are helpful and patient with first time customers.

Yum! I got the artichoke sub and they added mushrooms and steak to the sub as per my request. Hubby got the Italian sub. We asks had their delicious fries and I got a lemonade. Everything was so good and everyone was friendly and courteous. Will definitely come back when we're in the area.

Friendly staff and clean restaurant. Grilled sandwiches are really different than regular subs. Has multiple sizes from 6, 8 10, and 12 in. Freshly fried potato fries are just irresistible.

I had Penn Station's Italian today for the first time. Wow, it was fantastic. The meat tasted so fresh and it was thick cut so you could actually taste it. The bread was fantastic as well, very fresh. I will be driving right by Tubby's and all the other sub shops to go to Penn Station in the future.

Perhaps slightly more than the other guys, but well worth it. You will relive and remember the superb taste of your sandwich for hours thereafter. Great food, however my order is always wrong. I continue to request no mushrooms, have yet to have a sandwich without mushrooms. The first time they loaded it with mushrooms but the manager was quick to replace it and gave me a coupon for having to drive back. I appreciated the customer service. The second time I decided to just pick them off (a tedious task indeed). The third time I triple checked. Ordered 'no mushrooms', when I got to the cashier to pay I made sure the ticket said no mushrooms. When they handed me my bag I reaffirmed that mine had no mushrooms. I was happy with the reassurance, got home annnnd it had mushrooms. I can no longer order sandwiches here.

The prices are excellent. You can buy different sized portions, which is perfect for meeting the needs of different appetites. The food, including the fries, are made to order, providing fresh flavor everytime. The workers are friendly and make a point of calling you by name. The restaurant is always clean and the air conditioning keeps it chilly.

The cheesesteak was okay. They are stingy with the meat portions. Even with extra meat, they don't come close to the sizes of the subs in Philly (and Chigaco). It's about half the size of a real Philly cheeesesteak. The cheesesteak had a weird flavor, like they added curry powder or something. I got a Reuben and a tuna salad sub to go. I requested double extra meat on both. The Rueben is packed with extra corned beef, the tuna, not so much. I will let you know how those were. The Italian sausage on the subs is sliced, not whole. The lemonade is a bit watery. There are other sandwiches on the menu, you may find one to your liking. Overall, the cheese steak sub was pretty good. If you are from Philly, you probably will not be impressed. But on its own, I guess it's Pure Michigan. Ciao

Understandably since how busy they always are BUT should have been figured out by now. Been coming here for years. EXPAND, make the process faster, it's $10 for a 12 inch sub. You're not scrounging to save pennies.

I came in at 12:25 and I had to leave at 12:47. I thought "they could never mess this up. They have 22 minutes to prepare me food." Sadly they messed up. I ordered food like the usual but it was taking forever. Finally I said at 12:45"do you know when my food will be ready?" The nice lady said" 4 more minutes. " I obviously couldn't do that. So I asked for a refund and she said go to the cashier. Well I saw the line of the cashier and it was extremely long. So therefore I just walked out. I gave this place 9 dollars with nothing in return. Yes I know it was a busy lunch hour, but this is not acceptable. Will never go to this place again.
