One of my favorite places to eat in town, the staff is always friendly, place is clean and well organized. Food is great! Especially the pepperoni rolls! Great place to have a beer and watch the game, its usually pretty busy during game nights. Definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Been here a few times and was dissapointed that they used apple BBQ sauce on their Ribs. Pizza seems to be a little overcooked. Other than that its really not a bad place to eat. I would return for sure. I loved all the tv's all over. Ready to go back and try other meals.

Ordered takeout today. When we got it home, we discovered they forgot our side salads and broccoli for my Alfredo. My husband called and they didn't just take the easy fix... They made it all fresh again! I got a whole new Alfredo with broccoli and another garlic bread even. It was all really good too! I think we'll enjoy left overs tomorrow.

Food was decent, mediocre waitstaff (Amber), but after checking my credit card found that they inflated the tip from $4 to $10. Called and spoke with the bar manager (Chris) who investigated further, and issued a refund after commenting that it wasn't a big deal, and belittling me for being upset. This is not an experience that should ever happen at an upscale restaurant. There are plenty of other good options available in Grand Rapids, and I'd recommend that people look elsewhere than Monelli's. Edit: Increasing to a 2 star, as I received a call back from the general manager (Rich). It was clear he was trying to resolve my concerns, but still came across as offering more excuses than a sincere apology. My recommendation to avoid Monelli's stands, but it's comforting to know that management is trying to do the right thing even if they fail.

The food here is good, but my dissatisfaction comes from a horrible customer service encounter with the owner, Sergio I scheduled a surprise bday party of 30 based upon speaking with their staff on a Sunday. When I called the day of the party to confirm that our numbers were higher(41), Sergio was not only disrespectful and unhospitable, but talked to me as if I was trying to take advantage of him by bringing more customers i.e. more $$ He told me to move my party up by an hour for his convenience. After being spoken to harshly the general mgr called pacify the issue, and told me we'd be treated as a call ahead group which would have been ok, however the damage was already done. As an owner, I feel you look to gain business through respecting customers, but he lost 40 customers due to his disrespect.

I'm so dissapointed! Monellis overcharged us $40, when we notified them they said "it happens all the time." Then they had to charge us again for the correct bill of $25...and said we might get a credit in 5 days. What? Manager did not care at all. Watch your bill people!

Incredibly accommodating! I reserved a table of 12 for my family and when we got there more and more of family started showing up that hadnt rsvpd. The staff was completely understanding and got us extra tables as soon as they were available. We had great service and delicious food and drinks!

Have never even heard of this place before this week. We needed to travel to the area for a seminar and wanted to have something decent to eat beforehand. I found Monelli's on a Google search. Wow! What a great place with amazing food. They had a lunchtime buffet and it was diverse and delicious AND affordable. Go if you are in the area! The wait staff was so friendly and they kept the buffet full of food.

In town for the night with my husband and kids and wanted to try something new. We called and ordered carry out, the gentleman on the phone was friendly and polite. We ordered the penne vodka with chicken, chicken piccata, and fettuccini alfredo with broccoli. Everything was fantastic! And the garlic bread that came with each entree was really good! Will definitely eat here again when we are in the area!

We asked for water several times, and it was forgotten and forgotten again. Asked for mayo, forgotten, then it came when someone else ordered a drink and asked for it again. They were not even that busy. That's the reason why we will not be back.

We were pleasantly surprised on our last visit. It had been 2 years since we had dinner here. They were much busier than the last time we had gone.when we pulled in we planned in a long wait. We were wrong. We were seated immediately our waitress stopped by frequently and our meals and drinks were brought out very quickly. Food was hot and tasted amazing. We are going to make it a point to go more often. Thank you for a great date night.

My girlfriend has celiac disease and they are so unbelievably understanding and supportive of her dietary needs. Definitely worth visiting!

Lunch buffet was good. Good selection of pizza, pasta, salads and soups. Was very busy for week day. We had a large group and our server was great. Never once had to wait for a refill and was right there to get used plates out of the way. Will definitely being going back for lunch again.

nice sports bar, plenty of tv screens! can see from any seat ! changed my score to 5 stars today, because yesterday(7/27/2019) my experience was phenomenal. I will say, though, the service at monellis does need to improve, but the food was far beyond my last visit. not only in quality, but taste, temperature and appearance! our server was pleasant, but seemed too spread between other tasks and tables. I would 100% reccomend this place to anyone I know!

Monelli's has the Impossible Burger, which is great, but they will only serve it to you as their specialty burger. They will not even bring it to you on the side of a pasta dish. Two thumbs way down.

Awesome food here. I like the boom-boom sauce they had. Had the calamari and dipped in in boom-boom sauce. It was VERY delicious. Had the wings with boom-boom sauce and bleu cheese. I wouldn't get boom-boom on wings again, it just doesnt mix right or maybe the wings weren't that good. Would eat here again though.

We always talk about going back to Monelli's and we finally did. The whole family went there on Valentine's day. Maybe it's because they were so busy or something else was going on - but none of us liked our food. My stromboli was mostly dough that had been introduced to toppings. My son's steak had been beaten way too much. Had great smell and look - but taste was severely lacking. And that's kind of important.

The food is always good here. I love the Tuscan Steak or any of the salads. The service is friendly and usually pretty prompt even when they’re busy. And the beer list is always a nice long list of craft brews. Flights are a definite must because of the huge selection

The food is decent, but the atmosphere definitely does not match the prices. I felt like I was eating at a Buffalo Wild Wings, but paying the same as I would at an actual upscale restaurant like Rush Creek Bistro. Personally I don’t understand the appeal of having a high school hang out atmosphere and charging $15 for a chicken Cesar salad. Drinks were strong, so there’s that.

Great food and really good alcoholic beverages!! It's not just a "sports bar". Yes the sports TV's are everywhere but I have found this to be a VERY popular hangout, and relaxing place to meet friends. The fireplace is a nice touch and the decor is up to date.

Me and a friend were looking for a lunch spot while waiting for a appointment. Found this place on Google and decided to give it a chance. Needless to say we were pleasantly surprised with the lunch options. We had there lunch buffet that was a pretty good mix of items to choose from. The service was fast and good and the place was pretty clean. So when I'm town again I will most definitely be stopping here again.

Absolutely fantastic pizza! I wish they sold pizzas larger than 14" but either way, getting Monelli's pizza is an absolute treat. Their lunch buffet is also great and affordable! The last time I was there I got a regular Moscow Mule and it was delicious and pretty cheap.

Have probably eaten here 20 times for lunch and have probably done the buffet 19 of those times...and why not? Pizza, pasta, meat (usually baked chicken, ribs or sausage), salads and soups. All really good.

This place is a solid sports bar! The food is awesome and they have a very large drink selection. Their menu is very accommodating if you have a gluten free restriction. The fries are not gluten free (beer battered) but there’s loads of other options to pick from. I recommend the burgers! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is loud but that’s expected from a sports bar. Overall, highly recommend!

The food is fantastic. The staff were very friendly and hard working. Will definitely go back. Brace yourself, the pasta portions are HUGE. We shared the pepperoni roll, super delicious! When comparing Monelli's with Ucello's, I like Monelli's better, the home made pizza sauce and home made dough are better. That said, I prefer a sauce that is savory and well seasoned, I do not like a "sweet" pizza sauce, I also prefer a crust that gets really crispy on the outside while staying tender and light inside. That is where Monelli's wins over Ucello's, at least for me. Cheers.

I believe Monelli's offers one of the BEST lunch buffets ever. TASTY meats, pizzas, salads, soups and desserts. NOTICE there is an "S" on each item because there are MULTIPLES of each item. Plus it's quick and a value at $8.99!

It's... okay. I used to frequent Monelli's. I knew all the bartenders and most of the servers. Over the years, portions have gotten smaller and prices have gotten higher. The service is fine. As a sports bar, it's fine, but the value is not there like it used to be.

This is a great sports bar that serves it all, sea food, pasta, burgers and pizza. They have a lot of apps and the buffalo rolls are on point! There are plenty of TVs to watch your games and a big open bar.

Visited October 19, 2018 and had an amazing visit!!! Our server Megann was absolutely wonderful!! We had a steak meal and a pizza, they were both incredible! Streak was done medium and was so juicy! Pizza had that right amount of flavor, it was an all out great visit and we would definitely return!! If I had room to eat more I would have mentioned about my birthday on the 21st to see what would have been done, but maybe next year!
