Has a very traditional feel -- quiet dining ideal for conversation with continental fare ranging from steaks and lobster to hamburgers and salads. The food is cooked well and flavorful, but the menu definitely plays it safe without a lot of innovation or thinking outside the box. Probably an ideal place to take some relatives or family.

We went back here recently after a visit a few years ago. Our initial visit was underwhelming. We went back for lunch to give it another try. So glad we did. The waitress was really great and the food was excellent. You can tell the owner and staff take pride in the place because of how clean it is. We plan on going back again. Thanks!

My wife and I decided to take advantage of her Free Birthday Entree that expires on Jan 31st. Since we were close to the store and hungry, we decided to stop for lunch and use our Entree coupon I had the card setting on the table but did not mention it to the waitress (Who by the way did a very nice job) When it came time to pay I was informed the reward was for a dinner entree not lunch. The card did not indicate that it could only be used for evening dining. Our total bill was for $36 plus tip so it wasn't like we bought the cheapest thing on the menu. My point being, please indicate that the reward cards are only useful for dinner service and do not qualify for any items on the luncheon menu. The food was excellent.

Love the decor and ambiance of Marco. 3 of us stopped for dinner, French onion and lobster bisque soups are outstanding. Risotto and spinach salad terrific, I would give 5 stars however my wife's Lobster roll was quite fishy. I will definitely go back and try some other dishes.

Ooooooh man, what to say about this place? I stopped in one day on a coworker's recommendation, and I was not disappointed! The atmosphere feels pretty classy and upscale, but the prices certainly don't! From what I understand, there's a special menu at the bar (which is why I only eat at the bar when I come in), and you've got to try it! I will admit, their stuffed pizza does take a little longer (I think I waited about half an hour for mine), but they disclose that on the menu, and boy was it worth the wait! If you want some tasty Italian, but don't want to break the bank, this is the place to go!

I eat here once or twice a week, if I can get a meeting to be at Marco we go every time. This place is a great place for a lunch meeting, or a very nice night-out. Their bread is amazing and their pick 2 for lunch gives you so much food. The French Onion Soup is some of the best I have ever had. This is a locally owned business that is a great part of the community.

We arrived and we were told there would be no more then a 15 minute wait. 40 minutes later we were finally seated after numerous people that had arrived after us had already been seated. Once we were seated we sat and waited for our server. After 15 min, no one had even stopped by our table to say hello or anything. People that were seated after us had their drinks. Still nothing. So we left. We have just moved to Forest Hills but i doubt we will ever try this place again.

Went for lunch, Marco's is a linen tablecloth type of place. We had a cuban sandwich and a pizza, AND a bottle of fairly priced wine. Sercice was good, the food was hot and delicious. More than fair pricing, considering it was quiet and you didn't have to look up on a wall to order. Not your run if the mill place. Would go back

This place has a very cozy atmosphere and excellent service and excellent food. Everything was prepared to perfection. We had the meatloaf sandwich, the daily special which had a fabulous Cherry aioli and Brie cheese with turkey and the lump crab sandwich. We also had a very very tasty cup of potato and corned beef soup which was quite hearty. We loved all of the creative choices and had trouble making up our minds. We finished off our meal with the best chocolate mousse served with raspberries in a shot glass. Go figure. It was just the right amount to finish off a lovely meal. Our waitress could not have been more efficient or knowledgeable about the choices that we were all pondering. I highly recommend Marco!

Typical small, intimate, family-owned bistro: high touch service, careful plating and presentation, and they really know their regulars. The wait staff are all very well versed in the menu and specials, and unafraid of steering you off of something you might not like as much. Several are also long-time employees, so there is a very nice consistency. Food is correctly portioned and perfectly plated. I've never had anything that I didn't like. The dessert shooters are a nice idea, and very tasty without unnecessary calories. The wine list is not huge, but is perfectly balanced, and they have a full bar.

I'm gonna go with 5 stars as an overall score. Was it the absolute best meal I've ever had in my life? Well, maybe not quite THAT, but it was very very good! This was my first time here, and came upon it randomly, decided to walk in and try it. The steakburger I had was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked, and the fries were honestly some of the best I've had anywhere ever, full stop. I decided to splurge and had the chocolate peanut butter bar for dessert, which was simply divine and worth every penny. But what really set this place apart for me was my server, Jill. She was professional yet personable, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and attentive. She was hands down the best restaurant server I have had in a long while. Overall, I was very impressed!

A most excellent meal! Service was quick and professional. The wine selection was quite good. The calamari was the best I've ever eaten! We also had lobster bisque and french onion soup, both of which were quite tasty. Then we had an order of lamb and one of walleye, both of which were really excellent. And the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Marco's excels. The menu is imaginative and appetizing. The preparation suggests care and investment on the part of the kitchen staff and the front of house service is informed and professional. It has a bright décor, a good wine list and this satisfied customer.
