Worst breakfast ever. Omlets over done and toast was hard as a rock. Neice wouldnt even touch the pancakes after one bite. Server was not attentive or friendly. All in all will never go back

Love this place and have been here at least 10 times! I don't really spend much time in the area any more but would love to have some Polish food from here right now. :) If you aren't headed to Hamtramck this is the place to go. Would recommend this place to anyone. We have always experienced very friendly staff when we have gone here.

Mother's Day breakfast was perfect. Did not need a reservation and enjoyed a great meal and great service. The 7 of us enjoyed it and will definitely be back. Those potato pancakes tho! Highly recommend!

Food is really good. Wasn't impressed with the staff, took long for refills, asked for condiments didn't get then til halfway through meal, didn't get water til halfway though meal and my boyfriend's coffee cup had lipstick on it from being used lol maybe dishwasher needs hotter water? But decent priced ok diner

Food was absolutely amazing! One whole side of the family is polish so to eat food that they all grew up on was great. The service was also very fast! We placed our order and food was arriving immediately! But for sure great authentic polish food!!

What a wonderful little Polish gem nestled near Lakeside Mall! We found it on a cold hit scanning Google Maps and gave it a shot. The Polish Combo was great homemade food, and a LOT of it. Wonderful service and very clearly scratch food. You won't leave hungry, and if you like traditional Polish food it should hit the mark perfectly. Sauerkraut was original and homemade, and their city chicken was massive. Soooooo good, and I can't wait to bring my 100% Polish mom there the next time she's in town.

Excellent Polish food! Excellent American food. Best macaroni and cheese I've ever had! Waitstaff is great, prices are very good. Cup of soup with your meal is 89¢ and it's a bowl anywhere else! You won't be disappointed here!

They have the most delicious Homemade Polish food. I hadn't had such good potato pancakes since my mom passed. The combo plate gives you a chance to try a lot of favorites. The American food is also delicious. Mark my word once you go there you'll be a repeat diner.

This restaurant is proof that all you need is good food to be successful. Located in a strip mall with a no frills decorating theme, you will be pleasantly surprised at the food. They have great homemade Polish food that's almost as good as Babcia's. And they give you almost as much as she did. You won't leave hungry. To top it off, you can find coupons for $3 off $20. The prices are so reasonable though, you will need 3 people to total over $20.

When you're in the mood for good Polish food, try this restaurant. The stuffed cabbage is very similar to what I make, and I don't have to do any of the hard work. The City Chicken is the best, so tender and tasty, my favorite. The pierogies are good, but the dough is a little thicker than what we are used to, but tasty. I think they should offer soup and/or salad with the meal. We will definitely return.

First time eating pierogies! Husband and I both got a Polish combo (3 pierogies), so we tried one of each (fried for all, and then the 6th was a boiled farmers cheese(we also got a fried one) as recommended by waitress). They were so yummy. Oh my gosh. The city chicken (pork skewered, fried and then covered in gravy) was heaven. Stuffed cabbage was typical (I'm generally not a fan). The staff was so friendly and accommodating. I'm happy we tried it out. The windows made it seem so nice for a family dinner. I recommend.

Pretty decent family food with an emphasis on Polish. The service is very good and the food is very reasonably priced. Portions are large thus the large number of elderly diners in the afternoon. If you're looking for pretty good for a lot of it and low prices this is your place. It's not Hamtramck but it's nice to have an option for good Polish food that is reasonably priced nearby. The bonus is that this place also serves many other choices that make it a good place for little ones who are not yet into kielbasa and kraut.

The first time we were here the food was really good, our recent visit, not so much. My mashed potatoes were bone cold, my stuffed cabbage was dry, and tasteless with no sauce, my desert was horrible I ordered blueberry crepes I was too full to eat them at the restaurant so I took them home. I opened them as soon as we got home so excited to try them, they were so dry and rubbery you could not cut them. I threw them out. My city chicken was fine a little mushy on the outside, but tasted okay. My cousin had potato pancakes and they were overcooked and very crunchy, I tried them, as I put them in my mouth my cousin said, " isn't that green potato?" And sure enough it was. My husband's peas were straight out of a can. I don't know what happened to the food here, it's not the same as it was a year ago. The service was excellent, the place was clean, prices were fair, the food is very sub-par. But I guess people will eat just about anything. Grandma would not approve.

I personally didn't like it, my omelette wasn't cooked all the way and my potatoes were cold, yes I sent my omelette back still trying to figure out how they recooked it considering it wasn't a new omelette when they brought it back to me. Didn't eat much of it when they brought it back was a bit turned off. My sister loved her pancakes and my mom I think enjoyed her meal. I won't be back. Waitress had an attitude when I said my omelette was raw. Considering we were the only family there when they first opened

What an AWESOME experience!!!! None of us had ever been here before, but we were all pleasantly surprised!!! Our waitress Dianne was so on top of things and NICE!! She was the BEST! Additionally the bus person, Wuk, was awesome also! He even took our family group photo!! Best of all -- the Polish food, that most of us ordered, was very authentic!! We would all recommend this restaurant!!! Thank you Again!!

We love this place! We can eat dinner, and have leftovers for just over $20 with tax and tip. I like the dill pickle soup, fresh bread, and polish specialties like stuffed cabbage, pierogi, city chicken (not actually chicken!), kielbasa and kraut. The Hungarian goulash served on a potato pancake is also delicious. I prefer the smoked kielbasa to the fresh, but you can get a little of each with your meal if you ask :-) It's kind of hard to see now that it's tucked behind a Kroger gas station, but if you find it, you should check it out.

This place is very popular with the locals. I won't be able to find it. I recommend the Polish platter. The soup, my favorite dill pickle was great. The stuffed cabbage was wonderful. Esp the next day. The staff was attentive. Ok you wondering why only four star, I didn't like the way the dumpling were prepared.

The Polish food is the star of the show here. You may ask, why the 4* review? I thought the pierogies were not as tasty as Srodek's. I thought it was a bit chewy and the filling was not as tasty. Overall the sauerkraut and stuffed cabbage was a dance of flavor in my mouth. Check this family restaurant out, you won't be disappointed.

This place is amazing for breakfast, the bacon is nice and thick, the kielbasa is scrumptious and they're using real butter to cook your eggs and potatoes. They've got some fresh, fluffy pancakes and great coffee also. The staff is very fast and friendly and you can't beat the prices. Had the fish and chips for lunch as well. Nice clean oil in thier fryer and everything was nice and crispy, not soggy at all. I think I found my new favorite spot in town!

The take out order was some of the best polish food that we have had in A long time. We ordered 3 entree's and it was enough for 4 people +. When I picked up the order the wait staff was so nice and made sure that I had enough utensils. The price was very fair.Delicious legit polish food! And I couldn't be luckier because they door dash to my work! And close enough I can swing by after work too!

They were very accommodating to our 10 person party and our waitress was super attentive and never forgot a single item or request and filled our drinks before we even had a chance to ask! Everyone in our group including the children LOVED the food, even the sceptics who didn't think they liked Polish food lol! Sadly they were out of a couple of the things we wanted to try but I guess that just means we will have to come back soon, which we plan to do!

Edges of potato pancakes were hard and they were hard to cut. Smoked kielbasa skins were also difficult to chew. Clean restaurant and staff friendly. One server dropped a creamer on the floor, picked it up and put it on the table. She seemed perturbed when we mentioned it to her and took the bowl of creamers away.

This is a very decent Polish restaurant. I had some very good fish and potato pancake. Service was good. The pirogi are good also. I don't think you could go wrong if you chose this place to eat.

Who knew that the place with some of the best polish food around would also have some of the best breakfast around. Omelettes and eggs are well above most restaurants who overcook eggs to a desert like quality. They offer a polish omelette as well with kielbasa and kraut or a meatlovers that includes kielbasa as well. The pancakes are outstanding as well. All of this is done for a very reasonable price.

Went there 1st time, never again. Ordered coffee, it was barely warm, she brought me a new cup, warm, she then said she'd make a new pot, within 1 minute, I had hot coffee, no coffee brews that fast, she microwaved it and it was horrible. I ordered pea soup to go and left, even left a dollar tip. Got home, the peas soup was green slightly thick broth. I couldn't believe what I had just paid 7.00 for. I called and asked what they put in there soup and she said, we never put ham in it and if there are potatoes, carrots, celery onions, they are pureed that's why it's smooth. I couldn't believe it. I want my money back...Thick green broth..that's it..I would not recommend the food unless you ask about it 1st...

Service was friendly and good. One of us had the wrong soup brought over, but it was corrected promptly. We had a large group and seating was spacious and comfortable. Food was delicious and served hot. More than ample portions. Prices are great. Definitely recommend this restaurant for those wishing to experience true polish cooking.

Really weird experience here! Came with some friends and our kiddos. Got seated right away. Took our order and then the great wait came. We waited for about 25- 30 min. When we asked about our food. She then brought the soup and bread for the table. We told her we were going to just need our food boxed because we had a class to get to. She said our food was almost ready. Another 25 minutes went by a nice couple came to ask if we were STILL waiting as we came way before them and they were done already... no food... no explanation... filthy men's restroom... so we got up and told her we had to go, as we had been there almost an hour with no food, we were too late for the boy's class to attend, and she said our food was UNDER THE HEAT LAMPS if we would like it boxed to go. If it was under the lamps why did we wait an hour ? No apologies... no management... we left! We have never just left like that and will not be back. Don't come here if you have places to be.
