Buffet is a tough thing to pull off. If you have a ton of business, then you are setting fresh food out on a regular basis and everything is warm and hot and good, but the atmosphere has degraded because it's not going to be as clean and it's going to be noisier. But if you're not pulling in a crowd, and the food is going to sit longer between refreshes or else you're going to have through a lot of it out. Let's play strikes a nice balance the food is okay traffic level us about medium and it seems very clean and pleasant.

If you are sick of loosing your a** at sushi spots spending 50+ bucks and not really being full! Are you also sick of eating buffet sushi that is not even sushi really. Seriously ice seen deli ham in rice and seaweed called sushi on buffets before. It's not the best of the best but it's better then most AND a buffet! Just go.... Do it!!

Good variety of food choices. Hibachi grill. Salad bar & deserts. Typical options at an Asian buffet. Plenty of options for kids who eat for $2.99 Mon-Thurs. The employees are quick to fill up any food items that are running low & food is kept at the right temperatures. The dining area is a bit dirty and the bathroom seems to have a plumbing issue each time we are there. Compared to other Asian buffets in the Grand Rapids area, it's one of the best.

Great price for lunch, with drink it was under $11.00. Lots of variety on the sushi bar. Wide selection of hot foods: Pork, beef, chicken, fish in various dishes. The crab rangoon were crispy and well stuffed. Array of desserts and even four flavors of icecream. serving Pepsi products, sorry Coke lovers try the tea. Kids eat really cheap.

The food was cold. The food was old. The shrimp was dehydrated (dried out from Sitting so long). ( I would guess it was leftover from much earlier in the day). The food looked better than it was, or we wouldn't have even stayed. Together we couldn't choke down even 1 plate. No one even asked why we were not eating. When we were given the bill the waitress never even asked why we didnt eat much, she never asked " how was everything". When I went to pay, I asked, dont you people ask how everything is anymore? He asked why, I said because the food is cold, and old..... he responded, you should have asked for new food then. In closing, when Fuji opened the food was great and the parking lot was jam packed, now we noticed the lot was almost empty. We should have known something was going on.I only gave them 1 star because you cant give then zero.

I will never be back to this buffet. The food was ok at best but that isn't the worst part of my visit. I presented a coupon that I had in the paper to the waitress, the manager then came over and said that the paper should not have printed these and will not honor it. After fighting with him for about 5 minutes I finally gave up because he was rude and doesn't apparently care about the customer. False advertisement is not the customers fault but apparently he did not care. We had a group of 20 people and none of us will ever be back just because the way the manager treated us. No stars are given for this reason but in order to process I had to give one, you are lucky for that star Fuji.

Not all Oriental Restaurants are the same! I myself am a fan of Buffet style Oriental food. When trying this restaurant you need to keep in mind we can't expect a 5 star Award winning restaurant for the price you pay. This buffet didn't have all our favorite dishes but had a few different ones that where good to try. Hibachi style is definitely a perk of this kind of restaurant. ( Not table top Hibachi)

Fuji Buffet and Grill was near our hotel. We are travelling with our young daughter, and buffets are often easier for her since the food is immediate. We saw the large number of cars outside and took it as a good sign. The large turnover (even on a Tuesday around lunch) made sure that relatively few of the dishes sat out too long. They have some American classics (my daughter decided the cheese pizza was the best option), along with a number of the "Asian" staples that we have come to expect. I tried a bit of everything (save desserts). The fruit tasted fresh. The black pepper steak and Japanese style chicken vied for my favorites (the latter being better if fresh). Another good option is the chicken teriyaki. Comparing buffet to a sit down and made fresh is not fair in my opinion. It would probably not be 4* compared to some more formal places, but a very pleasant surprise on this trip.

OMG Great Buffet at a good price. Love their bacon wrapped shrimp and all the other kinds of shrimp they have. Hibachi Grill and Ribs are not the best but they are not the worst, but it's all you can eat. I recommend anybody who likes Chinese buffets. Plus they have the best ice cream buffet ever.

For the price it is totally worth going to this restraunt. As it states it is a buffet style restraunt. It does have chicken nuggets, fries, and other stuff for the kids. But it does also have a large selection of different foods. From General Tao's chicken to Sushi, you will not leave hungry. There is also a desert bar with a TON of stuff, and they also have soft server ice cream as well as popsicles. It is normally pretty busy but there is quite a bit of seating so there shouldn't be a wait. I would recommend this place if you are hungry and looking to fill up!

This is my favorite buffet in Grand rapids. Lots of variety and enough people come in that food is usually pretty fresh. Hours are weird sometimes. They open at 11:00am but are sometimes open as early as 10:00am.

Not a bad place, staff is overall friendly and attentive, and most of the food tastes and/ or looks good. Very good selection of buffet items, sushi, and grill ingredients. Here’s some recommendations for improvement: 1) Overall buffet maintenance, someone needs to be constantly circulating, tidying up spills, replacing low item, making it look good and appealing. This wasn’t happening when I visited. 2) “Habachi” grill (aka “Mongolian” to some), was hard to reach items and serving utensils in the back. Meat was frozen on the serving line (maybe this is a MI state requirement?), and the sauces were on the line for the customer to add. In my experience, it’s better if the grill cook has the sauces and adds them by request. Makes less mess and easier for the customer. 3) Too many confections on the buffet line. As a result, most dry out before they are selected for consumption. This was the case when I visited. Lastly, having a lot of glass on and around the buffet areas and entry ways means that people will touch it and leave their fingerprints everywhere. This restaurant would look much better if just the glass were wiped.

I only am giving this dump a 1 because it was necessary to leave a review. Would not feed this to my dog! The foods only taste was bad and the chicken I had was cold. This is not acceptable nor should it be tolerated anywhere but especially at a buffet where the food sets and grows bacteria. When I told the manager he said they would bring out new food. He offered to give me one dollar off my bill. We left without eating and will never go back

This is a pretty decent Asian buffet. Their selection is pretty good and the food is usually cooked decent enough. I would say there are better buffets in the Grand Rapids area but this one works if you are in the area and don't want to drive too far. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a decent Asian buffet for the price.

I've been to many Chinese buffets around the Grand Rapids area and this place is my favorite. A very big selection with everything you would expect. The only complaint I have is the my drink went empty a few times. Aside from that, the food was good and I will be returning.

As a college student I constantly go to Fuji Buffet. The lunch buffet is around $9 I believe and I leave happy every time. The sushi is great and they have a ton of options for anything that you could want. Also, I have never in my life seen a soft-served strawberry and cheesecake ice cream machine, and for me it is the highlight of the whole experience.

First time experience. Prompted by local coupon and it was the last day to redeem the offer. Overall the food was a buffet style, and you served your own portions. I elected to try small portions, in order to be able to taste everything. In doing so, I missed some of my favorite items. On my second visit, I will go to the cold offerings first because it is not deep fried or battered. Some of the desserts were outstanding, and I normally do not have desserts. If you enjoy peeling the shells, the crayfish and shrimp are in the cool section. I will go again, but will be more selective in the items. There are senior discounts available. Credit cards are acceptable.

My family and I visited this restaurant. They were very rude and we definitely will not be back. Yes the food is great but the customer service lacks professionalism and they don’t care about the customer. We arrived at the restaurant just prior to lunch being served. While we were eating they was setting up the buffet for lunch. My daughter went back up to the buffet to eat and the employee said don’t touch the lunch part of the buffet. My daughter came back to the table and told us we are not allowed to eat the lunch portion of the buffet. Ok that’s fine but we have not paid for our food and why can’t they charge us to the lunch buffet. Problem solved right! No the waitress waiting on our table said no more drinks it’s lunch time no more food. I said what are you talking about? We just arrived shortly before lunch and we haven’t really ate anything. After all that we just paid our bill and left the restaurant. I have never felt so humiliated in my life. Worst service at any restaurant I’ve attended.

Nice variety of food. Sushi is no Maru. There was one lady who who was pretty firm about ages. There was a family who was placed next to us and the lady grilled this girl about her age and the year she was born. When I went to get ice cream the same lady was giving a guy a hard time about being a senior citizen. I was just taken back by that. Quality is about what you would expect for a buffet. Overall the food was alright. If I lived local I am sure I would come again. I am from out of town and probably won't be back. They're to many other food options in the GR area.

Very plentiful! Food was hot...not lukewarm, like a lot of the Chinese Buffets. Lots of dessert choices. Great staff! Constantly restocking and cleaning!
