Deb was a great server, the food was good but we can not believe that they charge 3.29 for a piece of side toast. Careful ordering sides here, that's how they'll get you.

Food was good but after getting our drinks it took over 45 minutes to get our food. Generally would suggest a place with less wait. Food is also comparable to big boy.

See my review on Yelp. We were treated so rudely by an obnoxious boy named Spencer Reid. He literally yelled at us and argued that we should have been helping ourselves for better service instead of thinking staff should wait on people and help out in busy times. Ignorant and asinine attitude with zero respect and less than zero customer service orientation. He should be summarily fired on the spot and made to publically apologize. We will never step foot in that place again!

Food was good, service was crappy. Went on a morning date and the server was "busy" with two other tables to pay us much attention at all. Server seemed rude. Smoke on the water is the breakfast place to eat at in charlevoix hands down. Smoke on the water is also rated #2 on trip advisor for charlevoix. Won't make that mistake again

This is an okay place, the prices aren't the greatest nor is the food and the restrooms are a little on the dirty side. It's still a good breakfast place but for being in Charlevoix I would recommend going elsewhere for breakfast.

Been here several times, and every time has been a plate of "meh." The pancakes were thick, the eggs felt rubbery, and the bacon tasted stale. The staff is alright but the interior is very outdated. Extremely long wait times. Multiple times I came back to give them another chance, but nothing changed.

We have never received as bad of service as we did here this morning. We ordered a couple eggs and toast. After waiting more than a half hour and watching others that walked in well after us get their larger orders, we asked for our bill for the two coffees and left. It wasn't extraordinarily good, but it wasn't as terrible as some of these people are making it out to be. It isn't overpriced, like many restaurants in the very tourist-y Charlevoix, and the service is pretty good, considering that one of the times I went, the kid had just gotten hired in the day prior. It isn't a "must-see", but if you're hungry, busy, and want to just eat without paying an arm and a leg and all the frills of a fancy restaurant, but want something a little classier than fast food, this is a good choice.
