Great and unique Mexican food! I had the San Diego Burrito.... chorizo with mashed potatoes inside the burrito.... so different and delicious. So many other original choices... Also LOVED the way the staff kept the children segregated on one side of the room so they couldn't ruin dinner for those without. Can't wait to go back!

Always great food prepared very quickly. When I first moved to Michigan I could not find a Mexican restaurant with white cheese sauce. When Vaqueros came to Monroe I was excited to say the least.

Service was fast and friendly. Food was very good. (As you can see from the pictures) Prices are pretty good as well. They lose one star for charging too much for jalapenos and sour cream (25% of my bill). At least sour cream should be included. But this is how most restaurants sneak extra money now a days.

My family and I love dining at this local chain. The service is always first rate and the food is outstanding. The menu is extensive and has a wide variety of standard Mexican dishes as well as some delicious chef's specials. The kid's menu has both kid-friendly Mexican food as well as standard kid fare. I've never had a bad meal or a poor experience here. Highly recommended!

I just got dinner at EL VAQUERO Restaurant and was amazing, The Food are so tasty, Tip: When do you know how the restaurant food are good it's at the beggining is in the chips sauce if taste good you know the rest trust me on this. Staring with a chicken soup..omg, fallow by Margaritas on the rocks and the main course this tine was the Stake Ranchero, good size and the flavor was perfect. I recomended.

XD Vaquero you been hired for the very best fast Professional customer service skills your employees have to offer, I'd give you 7 stars like Dubai offers now but this app only offers 5 sorry. I know where to take good dates to on payday since I am single XD. All I want out of a real authentic Mexican restaurant. If you crave Mexican food just try them once their menus start high end low and you can always customize your order to what you crave for from their menu. MMM very impressed,oc.

Food was alright. Our waitress kept looking away when ordering which is why I'm assuming some stuff was wrong. Chicken fingers, more like popcorn chicken. Was only a few other people inside at the same time but our waitress visited us like they were packed. Was our first time there, so I'm not sure if that's how it always is or not.

Finally we found a Mexican restaurant Down River worthy of the name, Mexican restaurant. Margaritas were really good and not heavily tasting of sour mix; made just right. Wife had the Carne asada and I had the vegetarian chimachanga. Both tasted outstanding. Also their beans and rice were very tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. Will be going back for sure. For some reason I'm unable to post pics of the margaritas

Excellent margaritas!! The pollo margarita was wonderful. Marinated chicken with salsa and cheese with sides was more than I could eat. My husband had enchiladas that were super. Restaurant was clean and all of the staff was helpful and polite. Lots of locals even at 3:39 in the afternoon. This shows it has to be a great place. A must try

Fast and polite service. I had enchiladas and was unsure if I would like the green sauce, It was excellent! My husband had Chicken Chimichangas and he said they are the best for local restaurants ( Downriver and Monroe); it was loaded with chicken and not skimpy. By far the best Guacamole; it was fresh, flavorful and a generous portion. I have never had a bad experience there or left hungry.
