My friend and I had our first visit here tonight, and we will definitely be returning! The cheese sticks are amazing, as is the rest of the food. We split the BBQ platter (our server suggested ordering it with dry rub with the sauce on the side, which was perfect), all of which was wonderfully cooked and delicious. We also received our food very quickly, despite the restaurant being quite busy. Brittany was an incredible server! Thanks for the wonderful food and experience!

A nice small restaurant and bar that makes things from scratch. Loved the dry rubbed wings and wonton cheese sticks! My pulled pork sandwich was huge for 10 bucks with great flavor and bun from the local backery!

The wings were delicious. They're sold as "smoked", but I'm kinda from the south and they didn't really stand out as particularly smokey. Let's call it mild. The chipotle wings sauce is super good though and I'd recommend it over the dry rub. I also had the ribs. They were nicely cooked but not quite as tender as some places have, though. They're good and I would recommend getting them but with the caveat that they are "tender" but aren't falling apart with your fork.

For a place that brags about their fish and chips, the walleye was TERRIBLE. the fry was not crispy and lacked all seasoning. The fish itself was very fishy and smelly and did not seem fresh. The coleslaw seemed to be direct out of a Gordon food service bowl and the fries were limp and under seasoned. Definitely better to go get a hot dog on the next block

The menu is a little strange, not really specializing in anything, and the prices are a little high. They do have a few items that are pure gold, though, and once you learn what they are you'll be back for them (don't let the odd name of the "sandwich of your dreams" prevent you from trying it). The atmosphere is unique in a good way, but got my expectations up for more of a seafood selection (definitely not their focus). Bar isn't bad, and it is kid-friendly so long as they mind their manners (it isn't chuck e cheeze, so don't expect to let them scream and run around). Overall, not bad.

The cherry chicken wrap... It's as good as it gets. The sweet potato fries are excellent, as are the regular fries. Without a doubt, an excellent place to eat. Great attention to detail in their food.

** Edited ** This was originally a 3 star review as I was disappointed with service. But the owner's response was plausible, positive and understanding. I look forward to returning next time we're in the area for their tasty fish Friday dinner. ** Popular spot that's not so great any more. When a restaurant is well known and always busy, they must accommodate by staffing plenty of servers and stocking lots of food. Today, Dinghy's was out of a lot of menu items and the few servers working were clearly unable to keep up and seemed frazzled. Been there many times over the years, but not likely to return.

The Sandwich of Your Dreams was absolutely amazing. Split it with my mom. Service was fast. Not too many tables available so might have to wait about 10 or 15 min. Fast service, not a long meal. I think this restaurant is your best bet of the few restaurants on Main St. in Frankfort.

Casual bar and restaurant. Love the Bambas but definitely not for the faint of heart! Friendly, efficient service. Be prepared for a wait during the busy summer season but well worth it.

We had lunch here today. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich with twice baked potato soup. I had the half rack ribs. Both were delicious. My ribs were smoked to perfection and fell off the bone. I went with the dry rub. I had the "Bomba" seasoned fries (Cajun spices) and tried a Bomba, their version of a jalapeno popper. We would go back if we were in town.

Burgers were a disappointment. Premade frozen burgers and no where near a 1/2 pound.Burgrer was cold ordered a bacon burger, bacon came out after 1/2 burger was eaten, fries were cold. Very disappointed.

Disappointing. I remember their BLT sandwich made on wonderful bread with great bacon and tomatoes. This was ordinary white bread with one small tomato and a ton of grisly tough bacon. Not good! It also wad very cold in the place.

Menu is varied, several craft beers as well as the "normal" brews. Tried one of the claim to fame items. The pulled pork was excellent and the portion was large, (tomorrows lunch). Additionally tried the Adult Mac and Cheese as a side, very good. Will be returning.

Great food. I got the pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries. I loved the fries and the dipping sauce that came with. The sandwich was good too, my only complaint (and it is minor) is that it didn't come with coleslaw. Great, friendly service even though they were busy and good drinks, too.

Service was good, food O.k. I got Walleye , didn't have much flavor, baked potato not fully cooked, a little hard in some spots. Corn bread, twice baked potato soup was delicious. My husband got a taco salad it didn't look very good and he said it didn't taste very good. He also had soup and corn bread and loved it. Price was good. Bartender tried to make a drink that I liked , she looked online for recipe. That was nice of her. Overall experience was good.

Loved this restaurant. We were going to go to Stormcloud Brewing, but they had a line out the door. Went into Dinghy's instead, and so glad we did. The service was good, and the food was outstanding. My wife raved about the Michigan Cherry Wrap, and my Pulled Pork Burrito was killer. Check this place out!
