Great food, portions, prices, and service. This place is like a hidden gem. They have great burgers and one of the few places that have potato skins too. The dinner specials and soups change daily I believe. I've almost tried all of the soups. Some of my favorites are the cabbage, stuffed pepper, and bean with ham soups. Love this place.

Overall the place was friendly and the was good. I would of said great however the meat sauce tho delicious was not hot as expected with my veal parmesan which it itself was a bit tough to chew. The soup bar is great with different choices everyday. The only big negative is when were eating someone was vacuuming around us to clean and we asked nicely if you could wait and she refused with a smirk on her face which we didn't appreciate. Again good place to go to eat

I was there Sunday around 2 pm, and the experience there was nice with good service. When checking out, I asked if they were closing soon, since it was approaching 3 pm, they said no, there open till 9 pm. They apparently knew why I was asking, and said they are having a change in shift occurring and were cleaning up the dining area! Here is the big issue of distraction- while I am sittingc at my booth table in the middle isle of the restaurant, I had to content with 100 foot of extension cord about the floor with the wet/dry vacuum they were using cleaning table seating and under table floor area across from me, and as other table along the isle. This cleaning took awhile to do, while I was still seated and and having breakfast. Here is the clincher: The output air of this wet / dry vac was on and blowing exhaust air right in my direction several feet away from where I was sitting, for about 6 minutes before she moved it on its rolling wheels to another area to clean. Let me ask for other customer feedback on this! Maybe all future customers visiting and commenting on this site is a nice way to have strong impact on this type of experience to wait until customer are not in the mix of it while seated and eating.

Everything is too basic but a little trashy enough so as soon as your waitress is on the way to you , it makes you want to go somewhere else . You get that weird vibe from other customers when you bring a colored friend in there with you idk if you know what i mean but .. Yeah

I was there before, food was good. Just went there last week, the waitress dropped my food off, dropped off check, never checked on me again. She was talking to the person behind me, which is find,. The toast came later, then burnt , was not happy , won’t go back . She did ask me how everything was when finishing!! I was a server for 30 years, I don’t believe you should drop off food and Check at the same time?? At least act like you care, never picked up plates . That’s my story. I am sure not all of them are like that. Don’t ever take tips for granted. I left a 40 percent tip, because been there , I have a conscious. Have a great day.

So the dirty glass in the begining should have been the sign to leave. Then to unwrap disgusting dirty silverware...but still we stayed. The food was great however the waitress was extremely rude! We told the waitress that we would be ordering dessert as soon as our daughter finished her dinner and she continued to come back yo our table and ask us if we were ready to order know that my daughter was still not done. After the 3rd time visiting our table she decided to sit down at the other side of the restaurant and complain loud enough to be heard that she had come to our table and we would not order dessert! So we called for our check and she had to be told we would not be ordering dessert from them more then once. We will not be back!

Had breakfast in here with some friends. Charlie's had been recommended to me several times, so I was glad to give it a try. It's hard to mess up breakfast, and Charlie's certainly did not. My eggs were cooked as I requested and everything was very good - except the bacon. I'm not sure, but it wasn't the best I've had. The service was also very, very good. I'll try Charlie's again. Even though I wasn't too impressed with the bacon, the rest of the experience makes it worth giving them a try again.

I have been going here since i was younger with my family. The owner always remembered us even after we stopped going every week when my mother had cancer. He still remembered and asked how she was. That touched my heart that through thousands of people coming thru he takes the time to get to know you personally. I still go when i can and he always remembers me. He even gave me soup with a slice of lemon to try when i was sick and helped immediately. Thanks guys for the wonderful place to eat.
