Great food at good prices. The staff is amazing, too. 1st time I went in, I ordered the vindaloo "hot". The hostess politely suggested that I try it mild first and I'm glad she did! It was perfect, spicy enough and super flavorful. I've tried one new dish each time I go in and haven't been disappointed yet.

Very good buffet, the best in the area. The dinner is also good, but sometimes it takes a while to get your food. Some dishes are spicy even if you order medium spice level.

Only true South Indian food in Canton! It's very spacious. Overall, the food is decent. Biryani and the meat curries are the best out of all the items in the buffet. If you want to eat really spicy south Indian food and if you eat meat, this is the place to go in Canton!

It was all worth the wait, I found the new Indian restaurant true to its name, very authentic and tasteful!! I would go to F’Hills for a good Indian meal, now I suppose the equation has changed with other areas now have to visit Canton for a great meal!! Keep it up!! Wish you only get better and bigger!!

How do you feel if you are greeted with the word “you need to place order right away”, that is even one hour before the closing time. It was 9:00pm only. The height of rudeness was when after placing the order in first two minutes another waiter came asking for final order with the words “can you place the final order as we are closing”. I feel sorry for the owner as they will be closing down very soon permanently if they don’t pay enough to waiter and front desk to be customer friendly. Food was average as other American Indian restaurants so they should know how to survive. Waiter who bright the food didn’t know what dishes he brought and served the chicken dish as paneer

I went to the opening buffet, my first impression was that the ambience was classy, wonderfully decorated and subtle to dine in. Secondly, I was excited with the number of dishes and for the price I can enjoy all the dishes!! Thirdly and the most important one food, the place talks about the food and made me feel at home. Loved the Guntur Shrimp and Goat biriyani! Overall a scrumptious experience and yes, the taste of the food definitely lived up to the name of the restaurant!!

Probably the best Indian restaurant in the area. Plus lesser expensive than most. Buffet on a weekday had 6 non-veg options. Said more items in buffet on weekend for 12.99. 9.99 on weekdays cannot be beat for variety of items. Could use more dessert options but would not hesitate to visit again!

Authentikka restaurant serves both Veg and Non-Veg delicacies. The seating is well-spaced out and comfortable. We ordered Veg Pakora, Malai Kofta, Kadai Paneer, Butter Naan, Tandoori Roti, Onion Kulcha and Sweet Lassi. Overall the food was OK and the Kofta wasn't cooked properly so it does not taste good. Service needs improvement and so does food quality.

The Friday lunch buffet was good. Great staff and flavorful food (little spicy/hot food compared to other restaurants- flavorful spicy though). Spacious place as well. PS- if you like goat/lamb, their lamb chettinad curry was good. Edit 1: (9/13/2019)- the buffet today was okay. Coconut chutney was stale, curries were just okay. Would have given only 3 stars- but keeping at 4 based on my last experience

I went for the buffet and was glad to try dishes that I've never eaten or heard of at other Indian restaurants. Lower rating because of cost and it wasn't good enough to wow my sisters who had never eaten Indian food.

I had a very bad experience at the restaurant today. The manager forgot a couple of things on our order. Additionally the Amritsari Mach was stale. When they were getting the fish to our table, some of the hot oil hit me in the eye, giving me a bad burn. Nobody at the restaurant apologized or offered any help. We felt ignored and not attended to. Not coming back again. Please beware.

Decided to try out Authentikka tonight for family dinner. Ordered Pathani Gosht, tandoori chicken, vada sambar which came with the chutneys, plain and Mysore masala dosas, butter naan and onion kulcha and chicken chettinad (medium spiced was perfect for my non-andhra Indian palate). Everything was delicious! Except for me wishing for the vadas to be a tad bit crispier, we were all extremely pleased with our meal. Brought ALL of the leftovers back home with us and can't wait to eat it tomorrow. Glad that we ordered extra! Yummm! The service was very quick even with the most tables full, and we found the staff to be very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly! Thumbs Up for this new Indian cuisine option in Canton!

We had dinner over there. We ordered sev puri and some dosas. Dosa was very nice and crispy. Overall good experience with dosa, friendly and welcoming staff. Though sevpuri was not good. 6 puri , which was not even filled with proper stuffing and vegetable, lack of chatney , nasala and taste. Disappointed with taste and price of sev puri.

The food is ecxellent. Bold and richly flavored. The Mysore dosa was satisfying and delicious. The curries we had were distinctive and deep. Prices are fair and portions are generous. Service is polite and cordial. Perhaps a slightly better grade of rice would be worth considering. I realize you just opened, and I look forward to seeing how the decor becomes a little more sumptuous. Good to see so many people here on a Sunday night.

I ordered three dishes and an appetizer, all mild, carry out. Three of the four were so hot as to be nearly inedible for my family, exactly one was truly mild. I eat spicy Indian and Thai a lot - these were pretty darn hot. This is the entire basis for my rating. It may also be helpful to know that there was a 13 minute delay on top of the time it was quoted for the order to be ready.

A wonderful dining experience from start to finish! My husband and I spent the day at IKEA and we were starving by the end of our shopping trip but couldn’t stomach the idea of the cafeteria food. Lucky for us, Authentikka is in the strip mall adjacent to IKEA. We came in starving and left completely blown away. The food is amazing. The samosas are light, crispy and savory and served with chutney that is perfectly seasoned. The mushroom appetizer is literally out of this world. Every dish that we had was fresh, flavorful and expertly prepared. Indian cuisine is a favorite for us and we’ve had it all over the world in our travels. This is the best Indian food that we’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. We will be back for sure!

My maiden visit on 8/2 & I liked the buffet. Overall, the food had enough spices & tasteful. Environment is very friendly & open space welcoming all guests. Chicken items (all) were balanced in taste & dishes were kept full. Today, I thought they ran out of goat curry around 12:05 pm when I entered & there were many people for lunch. Another thing I noticed was Chana had extra masala flavor. Only thing, I’d recommend is change dessert choice (puva kheer was so so & custard is good for 1 type of people).

Right when you walk in, you’re greeted by smiling and kind staff members and that was the first sign of a positive experience. The staff was uber friendly and stayed on top of asking if we need anything. Onto the food, I have to say, this was some of the best Indian food I’ve had in a loooong time! The buffet was endless almost and apparently even bigger on weekends! I went on a weekday and there was still piping hot, fresh dishes being brought out. The butter chicken and the chaat were both amazing! The owner also had us try their signature dessert and let me tell you, please do not leave this place without trying it! The perfect balance of sweet and crunch without being overly sweet like the usual desi sweets. An immense buffet of food for only $10??? No one can beat that! Authentikka is a winner and I am going to have to keep coming back for more!

Really clean restaurant, and from my first bite it was an awesome experience. I am purest when it comes to good Indian food and their Gosht Rogan Josh blew me out the water, great heat, and the kicker is you can chose between lamb or goat, which caters to all palates. We tried a couple of light bites, all of them were superb, and the in house chutneys well..... superb. I'd give em 6 stars if I could.

Worst experience, I am currently in this restaurant and waiting for 45 minutes no food. We have been waiting along with my 65 year old parent for the past 45 minutes!!! Ridiculous service. Interesting dine in experience for me for a Saturday dinner close to 7pm Service: Our whole order took about an hour to come out. They blamed it on 'rush hour' but when I arrived it was not at capacity. The server didn't know what "murgh" was when I was trying to order biryani, at first she said lentils but then I asked for her to check and found out it was chicken. Language can be a barrier at times with some servers. Food: They ask you spice level our food was inconsistent with spice levels. I asked for mild and most things were spicy. The butter chicken was above average however the chicken pieces inside the curry were chewy. The shrimp tandoori was not good, no flavor too much salt and spice, tandoori chicken was average. The best things we had were the chicken 65 and "murgh" chicken biryani. I'm used to ahaar, india flavors, vindu and they are all good. This place does have potential with but consistency is lacking.

Our first time at Authentikka. It's been open for about 2 months now. We were completely satisfied with the place. The things that differentiates them from other Indian restaurants - decor, service and authentic flavors. The place is pretty big and tastefully decorated. It gives an upscale feeling. The folks were amazingly courteous, while not being cheesy. Our server genuinely was interested in the conversation and asked if there kids enjoyed the noodles. Now the last point, we, today enjoyed the paneer Tikka masala, paneer biryani and hakka noodles. All had very distinct flavors and tasted authentic. We will go again to try the non vegetarian dishes sometime soon. The thing is though, Authentikka had set the bar high for themselves. I really hope they can maintain it. No reason to go to any other Indian restaurant in Canton anymore.

Nanter to try this for a long time and decide to order a carry out dinnner. Ordered chicken chettinad and Authentikka's signature special paneer tikka. I wasn't disappointed. The Chettinad chicken was just the right spice level (i had ordered medium spicy). Paneer tikka was very flavorful. Each of the individual ingredients were in the right amount to make the dish delicious and aromatic.

There were many items on the buffet. One has to really spend more time in the resturant to taste all types of food. Desserts were so yummy. The wait staff were so curtious. I had them recently cater to an event at my home for 300 guests. Guests liked every items they served on the menu. It was all praises from my guests. Overall they are the Best in Michigan. Reason being all dishes were perfect, I could not find anything wrong in all their items...I wish to go back their very often....Good job guys...!!!
