This place is a hidden jewel! I couldn’t believe how nice the customer service was but even beyond that the food was incredible. Absolutely delicious soups, I couldn’t believe how great they were and flavorful. The burgers are so good, we were so full we couldn’t even finish them. Will definitely make this place our go to! Happy customers here and not one damn complaint! A+

I went in and ordered the Waffle Combo and asked for my bacon to be burnt. After a little bit, I was given two plates for my meal, but the second person at my table was not given anything. About four minutes pass by and both the two servers come over and take my plates and tell me 'Whoops we gave you the wrong plate'. I told Debbie that I touched the bacon with my hands and she patted my shoulder and said 'That's okay' and allowed the second server to bring the plates directly from my table to another guests table. This is NOT okay !!!!!

Its about quality not quantity. The breakfast omelets are of low quality. Sure they give you a large portion but the quality was very poor. They need to upgrade their quality. A waste of my time and money. I will never be back and I do not recommend eating there.

This is a hidden gem for sure. We just discovered this place last weekend and they are AMAZING. it is a small place but has tremendous flavor! There are so many items to chose from and the service is fantastic. Even though they are always on a wait it is well worth it.

In our work we travel across the Detroit metro area and we are always happy when there is a non-chain coney/deli/family restaurant to get our lunch. So, we saw Aurora across the street from where we were working and decided to give it a try. What great food -- the salads were huge and delicious -- the chicken parm was one of the best I have had in a long time and all the soups were hot and excellent. Would recommend this place to anyone -- the service was friendly and fast and parking was easy. If you try to avoid fast food like we do and you are anywhere near this restaurant you need to eat here.

This is our families favorite restaurant. We have never had food that was too greasy or not prepared properly. It is a small family run place and the food is prepared per order so be prepared to wait for your reasonably priced excellent meal. The wait staff are there when you need them and offer friendly suggestions. The soups are all made fresh every day not from a can. They serve the best stuffed cabbage I've ever eaten. If you want greasy fast food prepared how they want, this isn't the place to go.

My husband has been picking up breakfast for me on some Sunday's and I've been receiving an amazing cheeseburger omelette, no onion, extra American cheese, and the home fries cooked lightly. Five star's without a doubt. Great customer service when I call my food in, I'm appreciative. Thank you!

Outstanding Restaurant... I was incredibly, positively, wonderfully surprised by this experience. It looks like a standard diner outside, but it's clean, bright and cheerful inside. Wonderful service and delightful food. This is the best Italian food I've found in Detroit (and it's not even an Italian restaurant!) I will be back regularly. One tip... Order from the specials as our server said that everything on the special sheet is homemade each day.

Amazingly well prepared breakfast food. Every egg is done exactly how you ask for it. The service is the best I've had, feels like breakfast at a friends house. They did not go cheap on the quality of the coffee either. Every day they have at least 6 different soups, my new favorite is "cordon bleu". Finally, the price is unexplainable. How you can stay in business at prices this low is incredible. I almost want to let them know they are way less expensive than anyone else, but I don't want to ruin a good thing. Try it out, small town feel with excellent ingredients.

Amazing the food is so fresh! Made from scratch. They actually make your food as you order it, even your salad is cut fresh per order. Absolutely the best dinner salads I've ever seen! I've been in so many restaurants in my life and for this being a little family diner being ran by a husband and wife who are in the back cooking and doing everything else, I'm just blown away. This restaurant is immaculate, the food is incredible the wife creates her own dishes and nothing is old everything is made that day and only enough for that day. Lots of regular customers, the atmosphere is so homey & wonderful, servers taking care of all your needs. Hands down the absolute best Family Diner i've ever been in!! This place should be on the front page of the newspaper!!!

After placing our order, our food still had not arrived after waiting almost an hour on Saturday 03/30/19!! We placed our order at about 11 a.m. At Noon, only one of use received our food. Bacon was uncooked. Pancakes we're okay. The waitress told me to talk to the cook. She blamed the cook twice. The other waitress told me that quesadillas take a long one. No they don't!! Two parties who arrived after us got their food before us. TV program on was not family--friendly and it was extremely loud!! There should be an option for selecting negative star ratings for Aurora's. Experience was horrible!!

This restaurant opened in January, 2012. I've been going regularly for breakfast ever since. Food is really good and good value. Decor is pleasant. Waitress is attentive. In the two years since it has opened, the quality of the food has not diminished: Really, really good! The corned beef hash is the best I have ever had. A quiet gem of really good food.

Very good cinnamon raisin french toast! Might be the best french toast I've ever had. My husband got the corned beef hash, and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was home-made and very good.

Nothing takes the sting out of a long drive home than a filling breakfast that is served piping hot with generous portions and reasonable prices. Compounding the pleasure is the simple yet tasteful decor, and the spotless cleanliness of the place. It is everything you could ask for in a breakfast joint, including friendly service. I had one of the best Farmers Omelets I've had in a while!

This is a tiny family restaurant. It has a very cozy feel. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and they really don't charge very much. They serve the breakfast menu all the time and it is particularly good. I highly recommend the French Toast.

Customer service is horrible!!! Slow and chaotic. Things have really gone downhill in the last year or so. Food is good but you will be extremely frustrated with the service if you come here. I’m standing in line as I wait for my carry out order. They told me 25 minutes and it’s going on 45. So done with this place.

Great homemade soups and a big menu make this a great place to go if you're not quite sure what you want, but you want something delicious. Breakfast served all day; daily lunch and dinner specials. The only negative is that at times the service is very slow. So go when you have time to enjoy.

I love this place. I go here every week to carb load before my long run. When they were closed last weekend when I went by I appreciated them so much more. Other restaurants for breakfast just don’t compare and the staff is so friendly. You can’t beat the prices either for the portion and quality of the food you get.
