I've been getting food here for a couple years now, and everything that I've had has been excellent. From the burritos, enchiladas, and especially the Mexican sandwich, is great. Especially for the area. Being from Texas, having lived in SoCal, and numerous other states, they hold their own just fine. Not to mention the always polite and excellent staff. Keep it up!

My husband and I ate here on our way to Canada this weekend. We absolutely loved our server Rosy. She was cheerful, efficient, and very attentive to our needs. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Great all-around experience. We will be back if we are ever in the area again.

Bad, Bad service. First Chips and Salsa brought after we started recieving our meals. Your daughter dinner came 12 minutes after ours. Sour cream not brought with meals, had to ask. Had to ask fpr the extra tortillas that I ordered. Manager made excuses. Food bland.

Rather packed when we went in. They are expanding and renovating. Excellent customer service and the food is AMAZING!!! Absolutely delicious! I had the California Burrito with chicken. I haven't had any other Mexican food that was better.

I absolutely LOVE this place. They have the best Chicken Mole' ever! Just like my Mother used to make except better because its served with shredded chicken instead of chicken on a bone. Try it....you'll love it!!

Very good food, this has become a regular in our dining rotation, and our favorite Mexican restaurant. The whole wait staff is very friendly, (Rosy is our favorite, always very cheerfully) and the food is served quickly. I'd definitely recommend Angelina's!

Hands down THE BEST authentic Mexican food.! It's a small place and usually a wait to sit and dine. Stay and wait IT IS WORTH IT.! The wait staff are SO NICE, smiles and service is their motto. From the salsa(mild or hot) and chips to my favorite dish Deep Fried Shrimp Tacos (flour) Dinner EVERYTHING is DELICIOUS.!! This place will not disappoint you!

4 stars for food, 3 stars for price, 4 stars for atmosphere. 1 star for service tonight. Take out which my wife and I do frequently from here, (shes all about mexican food I'm not so into it but I enjoy it occasionally). The take out lady was short with me, rude and caused me to not want to come here for take out. I'm quiet, but tonight I almost spoke my mind. Of course I didnt, but yeah. Southgate never given me problems, but now we live 3 blocks from the allen park spot, we hope this isnt a trend at a good local eatery. Maybe she was having a bad day.

Food is good however do NOT order take out. They place hot food in plastic containers with no liners underneath which melts the plastic into your food! This has happened multiple times despite notifying staff.

We've been looking for a good Mexican restaurant for years, and we've tried them all: from the bland to the commercial to the "eh" to the overrated and overpriced. We had given up on finding a fairly priced Mexican restaurant that served flavorful food without over-seasoning it--until now. The beef nachos were exceptional. We also tried the California chicken burrito, which is so huge it easily feeds two, also beyond expectations. The diablo shrimp was spicy hot, but not over-bearing, and absolutely delicious! We have enough food left over for tomorrow's dinner and then some. Excellent food, huge quantities, & a fair price. Authentic? Mostly. But we're in Michigan and Angelina's is a hell of a lot better (and more authentic tasting) than any others we've tried! We'll be back...quite often.

They're in the middle of remodeling the place but the service was great, the food was excellent. Every time I've been there I try something different and have never been disappointed. Any time I think of Mexican I think of this place. Once the remodel is finished it will look really nice.

When dining in the staff is always friendly and on point. Smaller dining room right now but they are renovating/expanding. Food is delicious and prices are reasonable. Delivery almost always arrives sooner than the given estimated time and is nice and hot! They only complaint (if it can even be considered one!) is they need to have $1 taco Tuesdays!!

I have been coming here since they first opened. Always had good food, good experience, etc. Ordered a carry out order for my grandpa's birthday today and it was extremely disappointing. The lady on the phone didn't hear part of the order when we placed it and we ordered all of the food with toppings on the side. Our carnitas came with everything on them, and a couple people here don't eat onions. When we called back, the lady working was very ride, demanding the carnitas they screwed up back and wanting us to come back for the correct ones. The fajita tacos did come correctly, however, the amount of meat on them was laughable at best. After this experience, and with all the new Mexican spots opening up locally to us, we might not be visiting again for a long while.

Carne Asada was very good and flat steak was a very good size. The refried beans were a little salty, but not by much and best attributed to my preferences. Tea was tea and not brown water as is common in many restaraunts. I would have liked a little more guacamole. I ran out while using it on the steak, which was also due to it's size. The grilled onions were done perfectly, not under or over cooked and stayed up with the steak. I have lived in Texas for 30+ years and this was one of the best Carne Asadas I have had outside of that state.

This little restaurant in Allen Park was better than I expected. I wasn't expecting to be overwhelmed by authentic Mexican food, but was pleasantly surprised to get a very good tasting meal and at a decent price! I had the grilled chicken taco salad for my first visit and will definately be going back to try the quesadillas or the burritos!

I honestly was very disappointed after reading all the reviews- all that I read were good- I’m an out of Towner and maybe that’s why but this was as close to authentic Mexican as Taco Bell is in my opinion- the queso tastes exactly like the white queso u buy in the chip isle of the grocery- and it took us 45 minutes to get it- the chicken was dry and our server was sooo slow- nice but slow!

Yesterday i ordered the Chile Rellenos dinner for delivery. I was skeptical bc I've never been there. I've had the most difficult time finding this dish to meet my expectations of how i like it prepared. OH MY GAWD....IT WAS THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD!!!!! I DEFINITELY WILL BE RETURNING....AND. We love coming to all Angelina's locations but Wyandotte is my favorite. We never usually have issues when we go but the last visit at the southgate location was a little frustrating. It was about 230 and not busy st all. The waiter was nice but in no hurry to help us get on our way with our bill. We eventually just went and stood at the counter until someone came to ring us out. The food was a little on the cold side as well that day. I'm not sure what happened but I hope this was an isolated incident and doesnt continue because we truly love the food at Angelinas

I ordered the chimichanga lunch special with a horchata. Both were very delicious and definitely a good combo. The rice and beans went great together and every taste blended well with every bite taken! I would highly recommend Angelina's to anyone with a taste for good Mexican at good prices.

Was out to try a new Mexican restaurant and was happy I came across this one! Starting off, the dining room had just the right lighting. Immediately recieved the usual chips an salsa, and continued to order in a very easy to manage menu. Food came to the table pretty fast which is always good. Haven't tried dinner yet but the lunch was big enough for any appetite for all around roughly 7~ before 3pm otherwise it's an extra dollar. To finish up my review I'll talk on our waitress Rose. She was really professional about everything from making sure we were good on drinks, chips, and our food which might be an obvious but her personality really helped my experience. When we left my girlfriend left her food on accident and Rose came outside instantly to our car food in hand and brought it to us with a smile, where can you get that type of treatment usually? All together you have great food, great support, and great environment. Highly recommend if passing by or as a regular.

I was so pleased with Angelina's! This was my first visit and I placed an order for one of their taco bar packages. They accommodated me on short notice and everything was delicious. They were fast, friendly, and even carried the large order to my car for me! I will definitely be back with my family and use this location for other company events.

I went there on a Sunday afternoon with my brother. First thing he said was that it appeared very disorganized; and it was. They weren't even taking names of people coming in. It took a good while, but we were finally seated. When I had to get up to get more salsa (our waitress was nowhere to be found), I overheard a woman saying, "this isn't my bill." When the food finally arrived and it was hurriedly dropped off, the waitress scooted away again and I, too late, noticed that my steak burrito had been made with ground beef. So, I got up, found the waitress and called her over. Showing her the burrito, she politely apologized, took the entire meal, and promised to make it right. For the next 10-20 minutes I watched my brother eat, while I had to wait and think. Here were my thoughts: 1. Why did she have to take the meal away, if all that was going to happen was that it was going to be tossed in a garbage can? 2. Wouldn't it have been better to ask if I'd keep the mistake for a discounted price? 3. Wouldn't it have been better to leave me with the wrong meal, make the steak burrito and ask if I'd like it to go? 4. Why not do either of those things if you're just going to throw it away when it gets back to the kitchen? Unless that's NOT what is intended! What if it's just going to be served to the next unknowing customer who orders another ground beef burrito. I hardly ate any of it. All that the restaurant is out is the chewed on tortilla. Why else do they want it back when it was clearly a mistake made by either the waitress who didn't take the order correctly or the kitchen staff who didn't make the order right? Don't think that this doesn't happen elsewhere, because it has. Just ask anyone in the food service industry. Needless to say, I don't think that I'll be back.
