So the place looks great. First time here to take a friend out for a belated birthday dinner. Sit at the bar at 445 PM and get drinks within the first 5 minutes. That was the last positive. It took another 30 minutes to place an order of food. 45 minutes after that to get our food. And I didnt get another beer until about 7pm and we left at 720. I was drinking warm beer and then had nothing to drink with my burger despite trying to call the bartenders over multiple times when they were no more than 10 feet from me. By far the worst dining experience I have had and still paid a $90 bill for me and my friend. I couldn't even get the bill to sign after asking two times so I left without being able to tip, not that I would have given more than $5 anyways. Only reason you get any stars are because the food was actually decent and the place looks nice. Check the cameras if you would like. I was at the bar sitting close to the door in a white hoodie. Friend had a plaid shirt on.

Such a good sports bar! I got fish tacos with sweet potato fries. The nachos order was massive and super loaded and there's always a lot of beers to choose from! Gets busy during games/weekends though, but there is plenty of space here.

2 out of 4 people were sick.... before we even could leave Assembly Square. We are assuming the fish. The chicken from my salad was forgotten and my fries were cold. On the plus side the staff were very nice.

We love all the Tony Cs but this one has exceptionally good service. We sat at our table with apps for a long time in a busy Friday night waiting for my niece to arrive from sports practice and never felt rushed. Food is always surprisingly good and if you want to watch the games, there is no place better!

Went here before we went to event at Lego Land. They had quite the selection of stuff on tap. I personally don't like beer, but anyone who does will like the selection. We enjoyed our meals otherwise. Overall we had a great experience.

Food was good, brought fast to our table. The Blackberry Mojito tasted nothing like a mojito should, more like a watered down drink, had hardly any alcohol in it. The draft beers were on the warmer end aswell. Our waiter "dissapeared"in the end for about the last 40 min. We had to wave down three different waiters to help us find her. We were always told sure we will look for her and then nothing happened. She finally came around about 1235am when the lights were taken off dim, hence they were closing at 1am and people were leaving... we paid and just left.

Fast and they followed all request and special instructions to the T. Service that no amount of words could compliment. I want to go back to Boston almost just for another meal at Tony Cs!

The worst service ever. The waiter ( Janet ) came 20 minutes after we were seated ,and never said sorry. The order was wrong from the appetizers to the entries with side order that never came and of course the ice cream we order 3 vanilla, and they came all chocolate and she blamed it to my kids. As a complimentary we had to wait 20 minutes to get the check and a box with no bag. "Thank you Janet for making our family dinner so special."

I really expected much better from this restaurant. The atmosphere looks good but the food was awful! I ordered one of the house specialties and I expected it to be delicious but it was not good at all. The chicken was raw, the sausages was not fresh. The bowl of watery broth , too much rice and like 3 shrimps in it and smelled really really bad like rotten seafood. The burger was greasy and smelled unpleasant. The waiter even didn’t ask what kind of bun we would like! We got small burger with thin sandwiches bun! The dishes were dirty and the glasses smelled like yolk egg :/ They ruined our night. I feel nauseous after that and got stomachache.

Tony C's Sports Bar and Grill is a straight up 5 star entrainment spot. The air is refreshing, the food is great and very affordable. Staff is polite and friendly, service is fast, and it is a real sport bar with all the massive plasma screens showing a diverse and competitive sports all at once. I will definitely recommend this pristine environment for an exciting getaway.

I tend to prefer more of a pub setting but this IS a sports bar after all. And a BIG one at that. With an expansive collection of beers on tap and plenty of big screen tvs surrounding the enormous bar. I did not eat but food that was coming out to others looked good. Plenty of seats and tables for big game days.

Poorly run establishment, service very slow, staff not friendly or responsive. It's clean, but this caters to a low-end audience in the area, reflected in the operation not rising beyond what is expected and the other reviewers on here. Not like the one in Seaport at all. Server took 10 minutes to greet table, walked up like no big deal. Manager appears dull, dim-witted, and clueless on what is happening in his restaurant.

The host over there was extremely RUDE!!!!! I literally walked in and the girls already had a bad attitude. I simply came in to make a take out order. From the jump they gave me a terrible attitude. They were not friendly. I should of spoke to the manger at the time but I did not have time plus I couldn’t stand to stay there anymore. I didn’t even get my order because they messed it up. You guys should train your hostesses better. Or better come to my restaurant and we can teach the hostess how to do their job. Cause at my restaurant we are friendly and care about our guest. Overall, I would never come to eat at tony Cs until you guys replace your hostess or they get better trained. Hopefully they give me back my refund cause they charge me for the wrong items and I didn’t even get my food. BTW I’m talking about the one at Assembly Row And I’m talking about the Latina girl with black hair and the skinny blonde lady. Thank you do Better

I went to this restaurant on a Friday evening along with my friend and I was told it will be 15 minutes to see two people. Within six minutes to white guys came in and we’re seated automatically. Yes I myself and my friend are black so you tell me why was this the case? I left immediately and will never return!!!!!

Prices are a bit high for the quality of food. Service was good, got the Mac and cheese. It was cold and asked waiter to talk to management to take off the bill. It was done promptly. I love the truffle fries, get them every time. Sports bar atmosphere, must be packed during games.

My friend and I went here and we got turned away by the bartender even though we weren’t drunk?? She said “I’m sorry I can’t serve you” and basically told us to leave. Bizarre. I asked her why and she said she was just doing her job. Never NEVER going back again. It was so embarrassing and rude.

I like the place very much, sports bar with great atmosphere and delicious food. Price is little higher but worth it. I have tried the fenway location and the somerville location and both have ample seating and great service. I personally like fish sandwich blackened. Kids menu is also good. Sweet patatos fries are must try.

This place was awful! Went with my husband and daughter. The kids mac and cheese was corkscrew noodles with not enough milky water sauce to cover the noodles. The apple we ordered was cut up in pieces, not cored and fully brown inside . Never mind the choking aspect with the core, the apple was going bad. Our sandwich and burger were nothing to rave about. The burger was overcooked and the fries were tiny little over fried pieces. Due to how long it took us to get our food we did not have time to wait for them to do it correctly. The waitress was less than apologetic and had zero personality. We were told the manager would be by to see us but instead our waitress dropped the check while we were still eating and said he took off the kids meal and walked away. Sad way to start off our family night in Assembly Row.

Terrible service and food. Ordered the BLT and literally got 1 strip of bacon on each sandwich torn in half to look like two, a mound of lettuce and a half tomato slice. When asked for additional bacon they brought two slices for the two sandwiches. Server was awful and manager didn’t care to come to our table to address. Do not go here, $13 BLT and other food was not good, combined with awful service.

I brought my wife and son to Tony C’s Saturday afternoon. We were seated quickly even tho the place was basically full. Our waiter let me know he would be with us soon and was friendly and checked in with us to make sure everything was good. He even made suggestions about what to order for food and desserts. My son liked his chicken tenders. My wife liked her bacon cheeseburger, and the parmeson truffle fries. The clam chowder was fantastic, and the quacamoli with chips was good. The padded leather seats were very comfortable at the table even tho I prefer a booth. The Tv’s were really cool and the glass windows looking out towards the river were awesome. My bill for the experience was $70.00 including tip. For a sit down experience I guess the price is justified.

Upon arrival, the hostess told us we would be seated in 5-10 minutes. After 10 minutes had passed, I asked if a table was ready and the hostess told me she didn’t put my name down for a table (I was never asked for my name or phone number) and the wait would be an additional 20 minutes. No apology, no acknowledgement that she messed up. Meanwhile, she is seating parties that walked in after us. You literally have one job as a hostess - seating your customers in a timely and efficient manner. Clearly, that’s too much to ask.

Nice environment, fast service. Most of the food was excellent but the fries were soaked through with oil. When we complained the waitress just shrugged it off and said that, that was a matter of taste. The prices were reasonable as well.

Service: An unusual queue, they will make you wait even if there are tables available outside. In my third experience with them there were 3 staff members at the main desk and they were all crossed arms, looking bored. The waitress was great, we were well attended, paper and crayons for your children to feel comfortable and a little cup form them, the food came very quick Food: I always choose guacamole and nachos as a starter, they are very tasty and easily serve two people. The burgers come out at the right time, but with absolutely no taste, the veggie burger is TERRIBLE, I always have to season my burger with salt I find on the table, this should be advised by the service. The desserts are delicious, especially the brownie and creme brulee.

The portions were fairly large, everything was reasonably priced, and all of the food I tried was good. The server was pleasant and very attentive. The service was a little on the slow side but not unacceptably so - especially considering we had a somewhat large group of people with 3-4 stragglers arriving late. I wasn't crazy about the parking situation but that isn't the fault of the restaurant. Still, it's a little difficult to find something nearby and, if you do, you have to worry about feeding the meter if you're there any length of time.

We ordered 5 cocktails each tonight (over the course of 4 hours) and both of us walked away not buzzed. Incredibly weak drinks for paying 180$ on our honeymoon. We went here to watch the football gsme. The waitress was nice but inattentive. Food was good for the price. I'd go somewhere else that shows the game for sure if you're in the area.

Food is always good, especially the fries. Burgers are juicy and well-constructed (don't fall apart in your hands) and the salmon was perfectly cooked. Desserts tend towards too sweet, but are still very tasty. Beer selection is large, though not very broad. Bartenders know how to mix many different drinks, and they have a few signature cocktails that are nice to try.

The place doesn't make sense, menu is all over the board and same with the decor. Waitress provided one of the worst dining experiences I ever had, avoided the table, slammed down drinks, threw straws down, never checked in on us. We ordered the steak tips, the sauce was not good at all, potatoes were okay at best.

I dined at Tony C's on 4/22/2017, as a group of 11 celebrating a birthday party. The experience started when I called to attempt to make a reservation the Wednesday prior to my planned evening out. I called, and was told that "We do not, and will not ever, accept reservations on a Friday or Saturday evening. It is waiting list only, even for a party greater than 10." I said okay and went with it. Upon arrival, I put my name in and was told it would be between 1.5-3 hours wait. This was the most central meeting point for the majority of our party guests, so we weren't going to leave. We settled in at the bar and waiting. To Tony C's benefit the place was packed, and as my first time here - I figured that was a good sign of things to come. We ordered apps and drinks at the bar, and waited. Nachos came out cold - and stale. Again, the benefit of the doubt to Tony's. My wife got a phone call that the table was ready so I proceeded through the packed restaurant to the front. I mentioned to the host "You called my wife - the entire group is on the opposite side of the bar so I came up to see where the table was." I was met with "Sir, your entire party needs to come to the host stand - and then we can seat you, otherwise you'll have to wait." I proceeded to walk back to the group - pull them through a crowded bar, just so we could be sat at a table meant for 6-8. To sum this up, my wife and I both got a various burger, both came out well-done & cold along with soggy and cold fries. Again, benefit of the doubt to Tony's because it was a packed Saturday Night. I was willing to let this mediocre experience go, until this AM. My wife and I have both been sick through the night and into the day today, after having only eaten at Tony C's yesterday. For better or for worse our day was hectic - and Tony's was the first meal we ate. And we have been in and out of the bathroom since. I don't find it coincidental that we both had the burger's and we're both not feeling well.

I use to go to Tony C’s all the time over the summer. A few weeks ago I called and ordered over the phone like I usually do when I go there. I called and put in my order, but for some reason they didn’t seem to receive it. That wasn’t the problem, I figured something might have went wrong, so I decided to put in the order once I got there. From the get go once I got to the restaurant the hostesses already had an attitude, once I told them what happened. Once they finished they called my name and that’s when I realized they made a mistake because they put in the wrong burger, I told the hostess who was helping me that this is the wrong order she just started to argue with me when I know for sure I ordered correctly, she decided to call somebody else to help, she only made the situation worse and also had an attitude, so I just decided to get a refund and leave. I am also a hostess and I know for sure this problem could’ve went so differently if they had just a better attitude. I had already put out a review and someone reached out and told me to contact them, I called the store today and asked for the manager and they told me that he wasn’t here so I asked when he would be there and the woman just rudely asked me “ Just tell us what you need and Who is it? ”. I gave this location the benefit of the doubt but after this I don’t think I would return. I would advise for the owner to definitely look into it’s hostesses and help them fix their attitudes (coming from a person who works in customer service)

If you cannot find parking close to Tony C’s. There’s always the Strip where TJmaxx and Bed Bath and Beyond is.

Excellent place to dine at when in a special occasion or just a typical night out with friends and family. I do enjoy the selection of food that is available to the public. This was my first time here and thanks to a friend of mine, I now know what this place is like. The staff are very friendly and they greet when walking in and out. Servers are always on top of the costumers and have the friendliest attitudes. The food is great and very tasty! I highly recommend for anybody that is looking for a new place to eat!

Warning, they close about 30 minutes earlier than their sign says they do. For example if you walk in after 12:30 AM, they will loudly announce they’re closed. They also throw everyone out even when a major game is going on.

I stopped in here for dinner on the day I got into town for a work trip. I walked from the hotel and it was an easy walk along the river, with the restaurant easy to spot. I was sat quickly, but service was a little slow overall. It took me a while to get my drink order taken and then took a while between that and my food order, but the restaurant is quite large (although not crowded) and my server was friendly and efficient, so not a big complaint there. I ordered the lobster roll and it was well-priced and and good portion, well on par with other places I've gone to. There are huge TVs on almost every wall, so if you want to catch the game, this is a great place to go. There's also substantial seating so larger parties or families seemed to fit well. They also have patio seating if the weater is nice.

Very reliable sports bar with better than sports bar food. If people asked me to send them to a sports bar in the area I would probably send them here. They have incredible nachos. Fish tacos have been a favorite and also the Kale salad which is finely chopped with pomegranate seeds. On game days it can get pretty loud, but if you like Boston sports with a group you should totally go.

This is one of the worst experiences I have had in a while and I always come, but I normally sit at the bar. since i came with group of work friends we decided to get a table our server was "Steph" you could tell was uninterested she looked like she didn't want to be taking our order let alone talking to us we felt she was rude and unprofessional, we had to ask for refills multiple times it felt like we were constantly looking for her, all the other waitresses were more helpful and nicer. It was not busy the only good thing was that our food came out quickly and the runner was very helpful bringing back sauces and utensils we did not see our server again until everyone was done with their food and by that point what we wanted was to pay her so we could sit at the bar and actually get some good service! we payed and finished by getting desserts and drinks at the bar with Marissa which by the way was a very attentive talkative and kind even while the bar was busy she was still able to come joke with us and she was always checking on us whether we wanted drinks or how the dessert was Marissa was awesome and thanks to her service we will be coming back , it was a very disappointing experience and i probably wont sit with a waitress here again i'll be strictly bar

One of the staff members asked us to move away from the bar area and when my friends and I were told we couldn't have a table, because we were here for drinks. My friend who works in bars mentioned how unprofessional it was and the staff member replied with, "What did you work at Cheers?" We felt embarrassed and unwelcome. We live nearby and aren't sure locals are welcome here. The staff member who was unprofessional is circled in red watching TV. #barrescue #jontaffer #calltaffer

The food was reasonably price and delicious. We went with my kids and their food was also fresh and tasty, much better than most other places. We went in the afternoon for lunch and it was a great place for the kids, except for the bathroom, which my seven year old thought looked scary and called it the haunted house bathroom. In her defense the toilets are black and the lights are red. I gave the place only 4 stars because I service was slow, even though it wasn't very busy.

Nice pleasant Applebee’s type dishes. Think 99 restaurant. But beautiful scenery and a wide variety of reasonably priced Dishes. Kid friendly as well. Open late and generally the go to place when your looking for a snack and enjoying assembly row of somerville.

Service was bad food was undercooked and had a sharp piece of plastic in in that could have caused serious harm. Management didn’t care and did nothing to appease us or make things right other than say sorry and it didn’t seem sincere. Would not recommend at all.

Honestly, go to a better sports bar. The service is bad whether you sit at the bar, or at a table. The food is perfect, if you want it cold. Your appetizers will show up at the same time as your entree for some reason, and you’ll probably just sit there dumbfounded of the way the server goes, “not sure what happened here.” And then they’ll charge your card twice and say, “there’s nothing we can do,” so you’ll have to go through the hoops of getting the refund from your card company.
