Nice place. Had drinks and food there a couple of times. Everything was fine. Place is on the smaller side, so if you have a big group reconsider. Bathrooms can use to improve. But overall positive experience, I'll go back there again.

Staying from out of town and tried here for dinner. My experience wasn't a positive one. Keto options are very limited. Person I went with has dairy restrictions. Took three attempts to get his side of brussel sprouts without dairy. They did comp one of the entrees. On the way out I heard the hostess apologizing to another customer. Perhaps they had someone new in the kitchen.

I don’t recommend it to tourists or visitors from other countries. They do not sell beer or alcoholic beverages to people who do not have an American passport or American ID. I never experienced racism like this in any other place.

The Biltmore Bar & Grille is a modern American restaurant in Newton, MA with a longstanding history. No corporate restaurant chain or Hollywood set designer could ever recreate The Biltmore Vibe. In 1914, the Biltmore opened and served up breakfast and brew at 7AM for the overnight crews from nearby factories. It came with a 4 lane basement bowling alley that was a local hangout for decades. There was talk of a speakeasy during prohibition. The Biltmore was across the street from a regional rail stop and often hosted private events for dignitaries, politicians and celebrities. If the bar could talk, the stories would fill volumes!

The beer selection on draft was sadly lacking this time around with some beers being out. Service was inconsistent but okay overall. But the food is what sells this place. You can't go wrong with any of the small plates. They're all great; mix and match to make a solid meal.

The atmosphere and the music (mostly rock), although a bit loud to have a conversation in, is good; has a laid back vibe to it. Their waffle fries are amazing, especially the spice blend they put on it. The beef burgers are good but a bit too greasy for my liking. +1 star for the Newburyport IPA they have on tap and an excellent combination with their nachos! 4/5, would visit again if I'm in the area.

Cant officially comment on the real service here or if all the food here is not up to my expectations atleast as I was here for an office get together with limited choices both in drinks and food. The food served was just ok and the service for the drinks was slow. If u know that a large group is going to be there then better get equipped with servers. Ok place for me will not go here by choice I guess.

It's a fun bar/pub with an authentic old time vibe. Food is good but a little narrow range. Check it out, it's worth going to check out the surroundings. Very good Sunday Brunch too!

We didnt try a lot of food, so I cant really comment on food. Tap doesnt have alot of variety but has decent stuff. People were very nice. Quiet place.

Very friendly staff, really cool atmosphere, food is amazing! My girlfriend has Celiac's (yes, really) and this place isn't the most gluten free friendly, unfortunately and it's a little on the pricey side for what you're getting but I still can't wait to go back! UPDATE: so... We went back... The waitress was about as rude as you could be to my girlfriend (who has Celiac's) as she was just making sure her food wouldn't make her sick. She was so rude she constantly interrupted my girlfriend and even did the stereotypical "really?" at her. My girlfriend was mortified. And THEN, we caught our waitress pointing at us and laughing to the rest of the bar staff. It was so blatantly obvious that the table next to us asked us what we did to piss her off so much, too which we had no answer. And then the bartender just randomly dropped off our check. We were there for a trivia night and trivia hadn't even started. We were both planning on getting more drinks as we enjoyed the trivia night but it was clear the staff wanted us gone. Still don't know what we did to set them off. This place sucks, find somewhere else to go.

Cool atmosphere. My boyfriend and I met here for lunch and we had a few small plates and we were extremely satisfied! Bartender mentioned a new soup and I was brave and tried it and I was so blown away. It was a really crunchy chili and it was so bomb. Clean bathrooms!

Staff was good but food was terrible. I ordered a roast chicken and they covered it with some sort of vinaigrette salad dressing. I sent it back and got a BurgerThat Look like it was Pink slime in the middle. I would go there for a drink But the food is a little Off putting

A cozy space with plenty of TVs. Bar staff is attentive and friendly! They have the ticket during football season. (HUGE PLUS) Food & drink prices are more than appropriate considering the quality. TRY IT.

The drinks are great and the food is excellent. We had the pork wings (not a typo!) and they were excellent. My Caesar salad was a bit underdressed though.... Love the atmosphere here.

Good neighborhood spot with plenty of parking on site. One of the few drawbacks is that they close at 1 instead of 2 on the weekends. Plenty of cocktails and draft beers to choose from, and they keep their kitchen open until midnight. There are plenty of bar games available. It can feel a little too cozy at times if there are more than a moderate amount of people at the bar

Great food and service. We were overcharged on tip. Both my boyfriend and I were charged 2x what we should have paid. However, I called back a few days later and they fixed it immediately and were incredibly nice about it. Highly recommend!

The burger was good, cooked medium as asked and I always will commend a toasted bun. The chicken and waffles however, weren't great. The chicken was over cooked and dry, and the waffles were soggy. Pairing the dish with only maple syrup and melted butter was uninspired in my opinion, leaving the chicken feeling out of place. We also ordered the corn beef sliders, which were dry. I can appreciate the attempt at taking the road less travel with southern style dishes, but the cooking isn't doing it justice.

From the bartenders to the servers to the management, this is one of the best bars in the area and you really feel like a part of the community when you come to this establishment. Curtis and Stephanie especially make this bar one of the greatest I've ever been to.

An eclectic hipster joint. It's a good concept that is inconsistently executed. Sometimes the visit is very satisfying, sometimes it's disappointing. Also, the same drink can taste totally different when mixed by a different bartender. It's a "you love the first one but cringe on the second one" type of thing. Hey, I suggest you give it a try and form your own opinion. It's worth a shot.

Was over on a business trip and stopped here for the evening. Really good food and good selection of beers. Juke box playing tunes with a good atmosphere. On my negative would be the music was pretty loud and conversation was hard from one side of the table to the other.

Four stars for the great tap list, which features great locals from Night Shift, Springdale./Jack's Abby, Lawson's, and others. The space has lots of vintage appeal, though the music they were pumping in negated this. The fish tacos were great (pictured), but the half chicken was overcooked and dry and the "Mediterranean" salad was mostly iceberg lettuce. The taplist and vintage decor are the big draw here.

Great spot to chat with friends, while eating great fish tacos and drinking great craft beer. The service is smartly attentive and the atmosphere is inviting/friendly. Parking could be a challenge, but where isn't it a challenge in this area. Great find and worth repeat visits!

Service is always dim, food is average. Recently ordered a burger and they forgot all the standard toppings that are listed on the menu. The waitress didn't seemed concerned to fix it and offered "mushrooms on the side", 10 minutes after my burger was cold. Then, didn't give me any cut on the bill, so I had a cold, plain, $16 burger. I would have been better off at McDonalds. My advice, stick to just being a bar, because your "grille" part sucks and only drunk people will tolerate the substandard food and poor service.
