Wow. Super good food. Try your hand at speaking Spanish to the staff and get an extra smile. Not a lot of seating. This is a typical greasy spoon / hole in the wall. Awesome find.!

Delicious tacos! I gobbled it up in a few bites. Would definitely need several to get a square meal but since everything is moderately priced, it's not an issue to get your belly full.

Always so busy but the wait is WORTH IT If you want to try a lot of stuff get multiple tacos to try the meats, otherwise get a quesadilla with your favorite filling To die for!

Very crowded around dinner time (as expected). Small amount of seating so if you have a large group you might not be able to sit together or at all. All food options are great, so I don't recommend anything specific as they are all fantastic choices. Cozy atmosphere and great staff. Close to the train and bus stops so easily accessible. Would definitely eat here again next time I visit Somerville.

I don't usually give restaurants 5 stars but it will be unfair if i don't do it this time. I still remember the first time they opened their business in Medford back when i was in high school. Their amazing food with a very reasonable ( i should say cheap) price became a staple for me back in those days because it was right on my way back from school. Years later so many things have changed but their food stayed the same. Its still as delicious as it used to be and i think the price only changed by a few cents. Do yourself a favor, if you like Mexican food, next time instead of going to a scam like chitpole go to Tenoch and give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

NO AC. Food and price were decent. No fountain drinks only bottled at 1.5 for water and 2.25 for soda. It was walking distance from our hotel (hyatt place)

The food here is great. The location is small, but they offer beer and horchata ( a delicious oat drink). Plan on takeout though because it is pretty small.

This place is really really good. The few times I've gone so far there's been no line and I have yet to understand why. The food is really good. Fresh but quick. The service is also good. They deal with one person at a time but keep the line (when there is more than one person) moving quickly. Only thing I wish they had was a water tap . . . I don't want to pay for a plastic water bottle. 5/5

A little outside of the main bustle of Davis Square, this place offers a wide variety of flavorful options. Although not a lot of seating during peak times, it is located near Kenney Park, which has nice outdoor seating available, and only a short walk to the seating in Davis Square. Service is quick and friendly.

Wow! Honeslty, this restaurant offers so many new flavors and experiences! I was so tired of taco bell and needed more nutritious food ingredients! I was amazed, because they had squash flower quesadillas and the traditional drinks I used to know in Mexico. And the best part, they make tortillas using corn maize dough, just like the Aztecs and the Mayas! I can't wait to go back!

I've only had the Churiqueso torta but it was absolutely amazing and delicious. It's a small quaint little place but everyone is so sweet. The tortas are kind of like paninis and the tacos are small but smelled absolutely delicious. I highly recommend to anyone who's in the Medford area. You can't go to the Medford area and not visit Tenóch!

Very good tacos & tortas. All the different types of meat were delicious. I ended up getting the carne Asada & I must say it’s one of those very few places where the meat has little to no fat on it , & I absolutely loved it. Can’t complain as it was fast service & a quick bite to eat. Does get busy sometimes but they keep it moving pretty fast, would recommend if your in the mood for some tacos.

My husband and I visit Tenoch at least twice every month. They do get busy during lunch time but those guys are always friendly and they get my ordered correct every single time. Love their tortas and fish tacos. Always cooked perfectly. I can definitely taste freshness every single time. Would recommend this place to anyone.

nothing special, this place would never survive in a town with good tacos. meats were plain, horchata had way too much cinnamon, they out some weird sauce on all the tacos, and they use store bought tortillas.

The food was delicious. It is a low key venue with counter service and a few tables. This past visit we had enchiladas verdes and a torta. Both were delicious. I will definitely have a torta. I took a bite of the torta. Heaven! My daughter tells me the tacos are to die for. An inexpensive and authentic experience.

Get a torta!!! Have absolutely loved all the Tenoch locations since I first tried the torta per the owners suggestions out of their first food truck several years ago. I recommend them to everyone! My friend from the southwest also loves it and says it is the most authentic Mexican food he has found in Boston.

Great Mexican eatery! I got the asada torta and absolutely loved it. If you are looking for a quick Mexican food stop off you really cannot go wrong with Tenoch. Excellent food, fast and friendly service and a cool, albeit small, dining area are all key features here. All of their food looks great but I can’t comment much beyond the Tortas (sandwich) because they were so delicious we didn’t get to the rest of the menu. Now, if you’ve looked at my other reviews, you know I’m a sandwich guy. And here is the thing with sandwiches, anyone can make a good one, but it’s hard to make really great ones. Tenoch finds that perfect balance, including numerous fresh vibrant and unique flavors in each bite, but still manages to keep the flavor manageable. The ingredients taste almost like they’re layered as opposed to mixed and this gives a really nice experience as each bite rolls through each of the stages of taste bud bliss on the way to your stomach. Seriously this place is delicious, offers a reasonable value for the price and is easily the best Mexican food I’ve had in New England in the last few years! Tenoch comes highly recommended!

This is one of those places that I am willing to get more than the same thing over and over because everything I've had has been fantastic. The tortas (sandwiches) are great but huge so get it if you're very hungry. My absolute favorite is the asada con queso taco which is so good. I sometimes force people to order this just so they can also know how delicious it is. The pescado/fish taco is also delicious and actually holds up to mild transportation if you, say, want to use your own Los Calientes hot sauce at home. I also like the tostadas which are a good size so don't order several of them until you know. Basically everything is good and that's why there's always a line at lunch but it moves fast so hold tight.
