I came here with a groupon with my mom and aunt. For dinner, they open at 5, and when we went, the door was locked. We ran the bell multiple times before someone opened the door. The waitress/host/waiter could have been nicer, and did not seem to show good restaurant hospitality. The food was good, but this was my first time trying Indian food, so not sure how authentic it was. It was quite small, and could easily be filled and have a line to wait. Because the poor customer service, I wouldn't return.

It is great to be able to enjoy great food for lunch! They bake bread fresh 5 min after I walk in the door. From the warm welcome, to the first class bathroom to the incredible food. I highly recommend Shanti at Roslindale Village.

I order take out here for my family about twice a month. It's a great place with terrific flavorful food. My kids love the Saag Paneer and any of the Naan they serve. It makes me feel good to expose them to adventurous eating. We've also had the Tandoori chicken and lots of the masala dishes. So glad this place is around to save the day when I don't feel like cooking. They have hearty portions, too. So my family of four can stretch two dinners and one day of school lunch out of an order, which makes me feel better about splurging on takeout mid week.

Prompt service, good prices and delicious food. There was no wait on a cold March Friday night. Small personal dining area perfect for dates, or small groups. The menu was easy to read and understand and the staff was friendly. Overall I spent $40 for two entrees and two drinks plus a %20 tip.

I've never been in for dinner. Because I live close my husband and I always get take out. The food is delicious and the portions are big. Tikka masala is a bit tangy for my taste, but everything tastes delicious. Last time we ordered take out I had the tikka masala and my husband had the bhuna, which was REALLY good. Totally recommend it if you're in Rozzie and in the mood for indian.

Appetizer (vegetarian sampler) was great...and quite filling. The shorma paneer was pretty decent. The mixed vegetable "curry" didn't really resemble curry. Because the app was so filling, we ate very little of the entrees there and they offered to pack up the rest to take home home (took it to the back). When we opened it up, the two small containers were bulging. We definitely didn't get nearly our entire leftover, which is really sad and makes us not want to come back.

Ordered here twice from Door Dash, has vegan options, their website lists vegan options with a "v". I ordered Chana Masala the first time as I love Chana Masala. It was delicious. 2nd time I ordered Baingan Bharta, it was even more delicious than the Chana Masala. Definitely a 5 stars from me

Food is good . But the service quality is not good at all .We went there at 2 :30 PM and we were told we are not serving anymore. The server told us we are close at 3:00 PM where it was 2:30 PM. We were starving and we had to leave the place. Very sad!!

Normally I enjoy the food. I love them however today severely disappointed so not only did we order the gentleman put us on hold twice no big deal with that but then when she got older he is this it have her card number twice which is odd delivery guy comes over we pick up the food too much then the delivery guy decides to ask aren't you going to tip me no bro not after saying that so you going to come upstairs to find out that the order I had just made was not what I had ordered so shanties this time gets zero I'm going to mention here that if anyone orders you will not get them

Food was really fresh but need to have more varieties. Service should be imrove because non of server smile or talk at guests. They pour water into glasses disrespectfully and they behave like people coming to eat there for free. Thandoori chicken and naan bread is perfect.

I came here with my with my wife and our two infants. We called them in advance to get information about the restaurant and they told us that for dinner they open at 4:00 PM, and when we arrived at 3:59 PM; the door was locked so we waited until 4:00 PM, and I tried to open the door multiple times before we got somebody's attention and he opened the door. The waitress/host/waiter was not nice, and did not seem to show at all good restaurant hospitality. He was reluctant to let us in even though was freezing cold outside and we had two kids with us. He had a bad attitude like doing us a favor, annoyed, irritated by our presence in the restaurant. We decided not to stay and left immediately. I don't recommend this place.
