This place deserves 6 stars!! First of all, the place looks really nice. Every member of staff that interacted with us was very positive and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing!! We really liked the octopus and the lobster pizza. We also had the scallops and the croissant burrata. The scallops were good but didn’t change my life and the burrata was a little bit too cold, would have tasted better at room temperature. The croissant was spot on. Now, the dessert! We loved the tiramisu! We also had the white chocolate bread pudding - a little bit too sweet but still really good. Also loved the great selection of wines. Had a glass of Barolo that was divine. Long story short, totally recommend, and totally would come again when I’m in Boston.

Mediocre service, food took too long to arrive. And too expensive for below par food. Gave it 3 stars because it has good ambience and a spectacular spaghetti bolognese (only reason for I would return, but only as take out).

The last three years my family has stayed at the Liberty Hotel. Each time we’ve made a point of eating here. Every time it has been fantastic. If you have kids (we have a six- and a three-year-old) they do have things like pizza and other foods for kids. Our son (the six-year-old) is a pizza snob and they get a literal thumbs up.

Service was terrific, food was average, price was to high for what you get. I have eaten at many similarly priced restaurants and would happily go to others before returning. Mind you I only had select dishes but these were ones recommend for the wait staff. As noted the service is great here.

Scampo is a great 3 to 4 star restaurant, worth the trip and always a great meal. They offer something better then average and consistent. The pasta is not my first choice but everything else will satisfy you.

Great upscale Italian. Absolutely fabulous service! Attentive, but not obnoxious. Food was terrific. Have the bib salad with candied walnuts! Wow! 1 companion had the squash ravioli. She loved it. Another had the brick chicken. He said it was great. And the desserts! Tiramisu - among the best I've ever had. And I shared the toffee bread pudding. Mmmmm! Loved it.

The place is very nice and service was great, but the food was just ok. The buratta and the salmon were pretty good. The Patrick's naan and the avocado buratta BLT were just ok. The manjari flourless cake was very good.

Way overpriced for the quality of food. Dishes were underseasoned. Pasta dishes were mediocre and the pasta was from a box, not fresh. The best dish was the octopus which was good, but q little underseasoned. Very disappointed with this restaraunt which is supposed to be one of the top 20 Italian restaraunt in the country.

This place is fantastic! Met a friend for dinner and sat at the bar. The bartender (I forget his name) was super friendly and made some awesome recommendations. You must try the Elephant Ear Walking, Tandoori Fired Scallops, and the Scampo Duck with Porcini Risotto. Everything was cooked perfectly and the scallops were out of this world. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Boston.

Place is located within the famous Liberty Hotel (previously a prison) so you get to see cool areas of the hotel. The food was great for the $$-$$$, decent size portions for this type of restaurant.

Lydia Shire and her staff never disappoint. The restaurant has been around for a while so it doesn't get the same buzz that it did one at once open but it definitely deserves accolades even after being open for a decade. Absolutely love this place

I took the Chilean sea bass, did not disappoint me at all! The fish is so fresh, the accompanies seaweed has such a nice taste I cannot stop eating them down. Took tiramisu as dessert, the coffee beans added on the side makes the taste very great, very light not too creamy. Enjoyed so much!
