AWESOME FOOD HUGE PORTIONS & Family friendly prices

Went there for the first time in about 10 yrs. Always drive-by to go somewhere else..glad we gave it a try. Hubby ordered a cup of Portuguese kale soup and the Portuguese combo ( steak with shrimp Mozambique). He soup looked good, smelled good and he said was good! (3 for 3)!! Lol. He enjoyed the Portuguese plate of food also. We have been to many Portuguese restaurants in the past. This plate looked to be right up there with the others. I ordered the chow mein sandwich with fries. It was good, but I would have liked more vegetables (onion, celery & bean sprouts) in it. There was plenty of meat. Would have appreciated a little more gravy to soak the bun. Fries were good, not greasy at all! We will go back and try other meals in the future.

Absolutely awesome breakfast!! This cook knows how to do it! Not greasy and everything is cooked perfectly!! The prices are so reasonable we were shocked when we got the bill. The waitresses were very pleasant also! Will be back no doubt and will be trying dinner there too. Highly recommend!!

Great little place. Almost always busy. Nothing fancy, but very reasonable prices, consistently good food quality, friendly staff, and very clean. Only caveat would be to get there early, since popular menu items and specials tend to sell out early. Otherwise, love this place. In addition to all of the above, they also provide great takeout. Highly recommend this little diamond in the rough. ****

I've only ever been here for breakfast, but I have never walked away unhappy. The breakfast selections are plentiful, and servings are generous. The pancakes are very good, but the real star of breakfast is the corned beef hash! It is fresh and flavourful. Service is always friendly and fast. Get here early; this place fills up fast for weekend breakfast service!

The doors to this cozy restaurant have been open over 40 years. You can eat at the counter if dinning alone, in the larger dinning area or in the lounge/ bar area. This can be a very busy place at lunch and suppertime. Staff are considerate. Wide variety great tastings local food. Turkey platter was excellent!!

I had high hopes for this place, I looked at the menu beforehand and was set on the white clam sauce pasta....when my plate came out, it was literally bare pasta in pasta water with canned clams dumped on top....it was so disgusting and the so called chef seemed surprised I sent it back and ordered something else. I hate to criticise, but I have to be honest for others. Maybe they'll get a better chef someday and I'll give it another chance

Not from around Massachusetts but came from Connecticut to visit battleship cove, after heading to the museum we were very hungry amd arrived here. The place is amazing. Very friendly and the food is amazing.

I ate about 3 in afternoon, place was quiet and I had the chow mein and half dozen clam cakes. Both were good and service was prompt and I HAD no complaints. I have been going to Rogers for a while and have notice that the attitudes of the waitresses have changed to NASTY! The Last waitresse was even rolling her eyes at us when I ask to really drain the grease of the clam cakes. If I wanted to be treated like that I could have just stood home.

We have been going on & off for years and it’s been ok , nothing great ! The coffee is strong & average food & service ! HOWEVER!! Today we had a RESERVATION made 3 days ago for 9am , Party of 12-14 . By 10:25 or so they asked us to LEAVE??? We had the back room where there was at least 4 empty tables ?? I hardly think 9-11 was difficult to accommodate that many people !!!! Never again !!! The food isn’t that great anyways

Pretty sad you have to charge extra for homefries....prices are actually a little steep. Go to Cindy's in Somerset and get better food for less cash and oh yeah better food quality too

Great comfort food, and even some elevated dishes. The staff is super friendly, too. Kid-friendly, and has a counter if you prefer that to a table. The line can get long on weekend mornings so be ready to settle in for a wait. Completely worth it, though.

Awesome breakfast. Gluten free options (including pancakes on the weekends) are delicious. Mimosas/breakfast cocktails = yum (but not before ten on Sundays :( ). The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The food portions are not huge but just right so you don't have to be rolled out. A breakfast go to in our family!

Wonderful family restaurant and neighborhood pub. All foods are excellent - lots of comfort/local foods! Nice specials. The help is friendly, efficient and knows their products! Clean, attractive, comfortable setting whether eating alone or with a huge party. Fun events in the pub ( best bartenders - love Anna and Jackie!) and incredibly awesome breakfasts.

Roger's Spa! Breakfast or Dinner - a great place to eat and drink! Local music on Friday nights! Rogers also serves breakfast and has recently renovated, and you can choose your seat where they're sitting in the bar or at a tall table or at a regular table. Rogers does a great job with its fried seafood is fresh. They use local fresh seafood. There's very easy access right off Route 195 and the exit brings you basically right to Rogers.

I went here 3 different times to get breakfast before work, I got the same thing each time bacon, eggs home fries and toast. 1st time was 5 and change, second time $6 even (I figured ok the person ringing me out rounded up no big deal still a good price for good food). I went in Christmas eve before work and ended up being charged close to $8. I asked how the price was changing each time the answer was given with major attitude well this is what you should have always been charged(I would have understood her saying price of product or whatever) but the attitude was unwarranted and the price change just shady.... and to top it off this was after waiting almost 20 minutes for take out that I was told would be ready in about 10 (I wasn't upset about the wait because they were busy). The worst part is from what I could gather the person that gave me attitude is either a owner or a manager because she kept saying she had gift certificates printed on her desk.... well I hope you sold a bunch of those because I personally won't be back. With the price change every visit and the most steep being on Christmas eve to me is just shady business, too bad because the food is good and I work right down the street.

Horrible place. I tried it for the first time. Of course saw mixed reviews but wanted to try a new place out. Service was great. The food a complete disaster. Home fries undercooked. I asked for over medium egg and got a slime eggs that were borderline over easy. When waitress approached cook about remake all he did was argue with her and say he could do over easy or over hard. So unprofessional. I could hear it from where i was sitting because the cook in the open area. How does a cook not know how to make over medium eggs. This place is pathetic and cant understand how its still open. I hope what i saw was not a reflection of how they treat their staff here. The fact he was so unwilling and making excuses shows customers are not a priority for this place. Do not reccomend at all. I usually dont do this but this was a terrible experience. I have never encountered such disregard for a customer. I will leave it at that. Waitress was great. No issues with her.
