The wife and I are from Texas and have had a hard time finding good BBQ up here. We decided to stop in and try the food after hearing it was good. Everything was excellent and cooked to order. The cornbread is AMAZING and the pulled pork was on point. Staff was very courteous and helpful. We have been looking for a great BBQ place and wish we would have tried it three years ago when we first got here. I highly recommend Riverside BBQ.

My wife and I ate here yesterday. Tremendous. Pulled pork sandwich on a toasted and buttered bun was heaven sent. The coleslaw was addicting. Baked beans with pork chunks were outstanding. My wife had the cinnamon apples as a side; those were great. Will come back for sure.

Pretty good. I went in for lunch around noon. My ribs weren't terribly hot and tasted like they were reheated poorly. The burnt ends we're the same. The sides we're good, I got Mac and cheese and beans. I expected more punch from the BBQ at a BBQ joint. Better value at Willie Jewel's.

Hands down the best BBQ restaurant I’ve ever been to. Referred here by a friend and this place did not disappoint! They have a great selection of food and great dishes! I ended up having the pig pile which was incredible. Pulled pork topped with bacon and french fries. Excellent food! Will definitely return! This place is a must go!

One of my favorite places in town. Live music on the weekends great bottle selection at a very reasonable price. Everything i have tried has been great, the corn was a surprise, best ive ever had! I would be here every day if they had just a couple healthier options on the menu but it is a BBQ place and they do it right!

Great BBQ spot in downtown Nashua. Right next to the river with inside and patio seating. Ordered the “Pig Pile” sandwich with mac and cheese and cole slaw sides and fiancé had the ribs and brisket with mashed potatoes and cinnamon apples. Very tasty BBQ. Everything was succulent and very flavorful. Choices of BBQ sauces were great as well. The meats were a little cold and it took a while to come out so giving this spot 4 stars for my visit. I recommend you give it a try if you’re in the area.

First time going to this restaurant and I've been living in Nashua for 26 years first time with me and my fiance we enjoyed every bit of food and loved the quesadillas. the service was great. I decided to try this place against hearing some negative reviews and unfortunately it will now be the first and last time. We placed an 5 meal takeout order and the 3 meat combo only came with 1 meat. It was clearly printed on the receipt. I called back to inform them that the order was missing some items and I asked to just give a partial refund because I was already back at work and did not have time to go back. The lady on the phone informed me that there was no manager there that night and to call back the next day. When I called the next day, I was told by the manager on duty that she does not do the refunds and that she would take my information down and someone would call me back. I have never recieved that call...

I went for lunch on a Tuesday. I saw they had a new PBR and it went great with my platter. I just got the brisket with corn bread and a side of collard greens. The brisket was a bit on the dry side but the selection of bbq sauces that were right in front of me at the bar helped. I even got a side of their super spicy sauce. I love heat so let me tell you, don't take this sauce lightly. It had great flavor as well as some serious heat. The corn bread was sweeter than I'm used to but still very tasty. The collard greens I grew up eating are traditionally served with either smoked ham hocks or smoked neck bones. Here they cooked them with pulled pork. That makes sense since Nashua is a very Caucasian little town. I loved that the greens weren't over salted. I didn't get dessert because I was pressed for time. But I would definitely come back. I'm anxious to try their chicken wings. This place is definitely worth checking out. Jenny wad my bartender. She was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I travel up and down the East coast pretty regularly and I'm a huge fan of traditional BBQ. Riverside BBQ does it better than anything north of Virginia in my opinion. From their pulled pork, brisket, to the burnt ends they do it right.

For starters the coleslaw is great! The burnt ends not so much. I picked up 1 quart of Burnt ends to bring home to my family. We were looking forward to some great BBQ then we tried the Burnt ends, it was like eating BBQ flavored chewing gum. The meat was extremely chewy with an overwhelming amount of fat, after cutting away as much fat as possible the meat still had the texture of chewing gum. My father managed to eat half a sandwich before giving up, then we all shared the small order of coleslaw (should have gotten a larger order of coleslaw!) This restaurant gets 4 stars on google for a reason but the burnt ends are not it. We were all turned off with the texture of the meat so quickly and didn't want to deal with the hassle of driving back to return or exchange our order. Moral of the story: if you order takeout here try a bit before you head home to avoid our experience.

Pretty mediocre bbq. However, the pig pile sandwich was very good; I would recommend that. They also have a decent selection of beers. Parking is limited so you'll likely park on the street. I also want to give a shout out to the staff our waiter was perfectly attentive and so cheerful and friendly.

We've been here a couple times now and we'll certainly be back! The food is delicious. The service is outstanding. In fact, we were greeted outside by the hostess on Sunday while we were looking at dining on the back patio with our dog Hunter. They brought us water and made us feel very welcome! Needless to say Hunter enjoyed himself just much as we did! We ALL Love the Burnt Ends! YUM!

This place is really expensive. I was excited for a turkey BLT but I could not get over the $16 price tag. The turkey sandwich we did order was so disappointing. When I ordered it and the lady on the phone didn't ask if I'd want anything on it, I assumed it wouldn't be a plain dry turkey with bread. My own fault I guess because I almost asked for mayo but when she didn't say anything and the pause was too long I just figured it would have something. I guess this place just isn't for me. It was for a takeout order.

A little upset with my dinner at Riverside barbeque. First off the wings we ordered only came with three and it cost $10. What a rip off. Next I order ribs and they didn’t even explain on the menu what I was getting and it was totally different. Next we only got one drink our whole meal and she never once asked for a refill and we had empty glasses for 15+ minutes. Lastly, my boyfriends meal started off ok, but then his burgers consistence changed as he ate it and didn’t taste as good, which was really annoying. Overall, it was over priced and the food wasn’t good. Won’t be eating here again.

It’s great if you don’t mind terrible service. What appeared to be mom and daughter seemed more interested in conversation. Funny enough, the table next to us had constant attention from the young girl, but we weren’t asked for refills, we literally waited 10 minutes to get our check - which we had to get up and ask for. Had to get up and ask for a box. She literally would look AT us and ignore us. The mother’s response? She was new. Then maybe she shouldn’t be left alone to tend to TWO tables when she clearly could only handle one. Food was mediocre. The gossiped and laughed that we were irritated by her incompetence. And don’t worry about the flies flying around your food, because when the food goes right through you, the flies accompany you in the bathroom too! Place sucks, the reviews were right. Hope they go under so some place better takes their spot.

I went with the RIVERSIDE PLATTER with three servings of meats and two sides ($21.99). For my sides, I picked Mac & Cheese and Collard Greens. The M&C was ok, but the sauce was very thin and didn't really stick to the mac. The collard greens had a good amount of meat included, but it was all dried out. The collard themselves was cooked well, but they were very sweet. When I mentioned that to the waitress, it turns out the had been NEnglanded by adding maple syrup. Really? The waitress gave me some vinegar based sauce, and that helped a lot. The Burnt Ends was very tasty and tender, except some dry bits. The ribs were very tasty with a smoke ring and a nice dry rub. I asked for the Brisket to be cut from the fatty end and it was. This was a tender brisket with a very nice marbling and tasty peppery rub. This was a very generous portion of excellent BBQ, and I was delighted with this.

Riverside BBQ catered the most amazing bbq for my son's 30th birthday this past weekend and the food was amazing!!!! Everyone raved about the food, we had ribs, pulled pork, burnt ends and smoked chicken thighs. The corn bread guest raved about and the sides were great! It was so good!! Dave delivered and helped me set up, I would order again for any event,I highly recommend!!

Wow. Amazing. Would recommend to anyone looking for some fantastic BBQ. The slaw was perfect, was not overpowered by mayo or vinegar. The corn bread was soft, and amazing, perfect. The baked beans were also cooked to perfection. I had the Burnt Tips sandwich, amazing flavor, the meat was soft for the flesh, and the outside pieces were crisp and thick. Overall amazing experience and so much food for the price. Service was spectacular and very helpful. Just, great damn food.

This was a solid BBQ option in the Northeast. The location is great. Parking can be a challenge. The restaurant was clean and the service was good. We ordered the platter and it was more than enough food for 4 adults and a great value. My nitpick for the food was that the burnt ends could have been a bit more crispy. If you are looking for good BBQ in the Northeast this is a great bet.

Had the pulled pork, boneless chicken wings and a stout. Pork was really good and the wings exceeded my expectations. Stout was very smooth and rich even though it came from a nitro can. The beans were some of the best I've had from a BBQ place (even Southern) but the mac'n'cheese had no cheese flavor or creaminess to it. It gets a 3 and everything else gets 8's and 9's. Would go back and give the mac a second go if I had the chance.

Greatest BBQ around. Everything we ordered was flavorful, sweet and tangy. The drinks are phenomenal. A bit pricier than atandard fare, but basically it's worth every penny. They also have a fantastic variety of sauces and condiments, including their 7 Deadly Sins hot sauce, which is the hottest hot sauce I've ever had. Carolina reaper and 6 other demonically hot peppers. They have events and seasonal drinks on top of their already stellar standard lineup Go, you will not regret it.

Horrible Service- placed an order for take out, got to the restaurant to pick it up and they mentioned upon arrival that they didn’t have enough food to fulfill my entire order. I waited for over 15 minutes from there to receive my food and pay. Upon paying they attempted to charge me for the entire order even though they only had enough for half! I had to haggle with them and they still charged me more than what the per unit cost was had I received the requested order. Good customer service in this case would have provided an apology for not being able to fulfilll the order, and a discount for the inconvenience as opposed to arguing with the customer on a price that should compliment the amount of food. While the food is decent this is now the 4th time in a row that I have received less than stellar customer service.

Not the worst not the best. Brisket was dry and corn bread was cold. Fries were good and ribs were decent. They make up on some of the dryness by having a good selection of sauces. About 4 or 5 of them. Not too spicy though if you're looking for something with a kick. Friendly service and accommodating. Waiter didn't have raspberry tea but took their tea and mulled up some raspberries in it which I haven't seen anyone do before so that was cool.

Ordered a few items for a small family gathering. While not a HUGE order, the amount of food we would need nevertheless. Aside from a quick issue, which the restaurant resolved immediately and did so with absolute deliciousness, our family gathering was a success. A small issue which could’ve resulted in a very different review was handled exactly as I could’ve hoped. Great food, great service. Will be ordering again and much sooner than I would’ve expected, too! Enjoy!!!

Both times I've eaten from here the burgers have been very enjoyable. My significant other and myself have been trying for a while to find a good burger place and we both had good experiences with the burgers here. The fries the second time could have been more crisp but overall the experience was very positive and I would and have recommended Riverside Barbeque to friends. Also the "hippy juice" I believe it was actually was very enjoyable. Not being a fan of watermelon I wasn't completely sure about it but the flavor was subtle and worked well. Thanks for a good time.

Lots of yummy and well prepared food. Hugh ribs meant something left for next days lunch. Very casual. Jeans are over dressed. Parking can be a problem as there is almost nothing in back, but there are place on street. Sandwiches are also awesome..Rubin. Great prices and cold beer. Does not get much better.

Burnt ends were dried out but the fries were good, the TV reception was very inconsistent...

Great food, my boyfriend can't stop talking about their burgers. Service staff is friendly and attentive. Sometimes timing can be an issue, but only once in my five visits. The place is casual and comfortable.
