Excellent java and delicious treats! Customer service is excellent! Definitely check out this place even if there is a line, it's worth it!

Rebecca Dunbar

This place opened 10 years ago, after I had moved away to Colorado, so it took me longer to discover it. Twice a year though I return, and this has become my go to place. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, and from your seat you can see the master chef, and artist, at work. The wait staff are all friendly and professional, and will help you navigate around a menu that is both creative and delicious. I originally would come here once a week, but recently that has increased to multiple times per week. If you’re looking for a great place to go, look no further as you have found it. It’s worth the trip, even if it’s across country.

Debra Messier-Nagengast

Always an experience. New things to try and a great atmosphere! Especially the outdoor fire pit.

Eileen Calabrese

Excellent food, but chaotic, disorganized service. The wait time ordering is ridiculously long.

barbara blakeney

Outstanding meal. Highly recommend.

kim yarns

Fabulous Mother's Day brunch excellent

Elizabeth Lowell

Everything is delicious and beautiful to look at, almost to beautiful to eat.

Arianna Vranas

The ham and cheese croissant

Kimberly Miller

OMG! This place is amazing! Couldn't wait to get back here. Always a must stop on the Cape!!

Philip Newman

Coffee, butter, exotic pastries. Perfect breakfast spot. Coffee at the fire pit...1100am.

Steve Kaplan

Owner and staff friendly and good service. Always good food above expected. Great baked goods take home.

Alexandra Dixon

Pastries are amazing!

Harrison Niggel

Wow this place has the best little treats around. From croissants to cookies. They bake everything fresh every morning. There are sandwiches, soups, and treats. Would definitely recommend to others.

Judy Cook

Dont miss this place. Do hood. Grest variety Highly recommend.

Gino Battelle

Wow! Pastries and Tarts from the bakery as they should be. Wonderful stuff. Can't wait to try the restaurant.

Michael Simmons

Food great....the "wait time" made the low rating. The setup is not conducive to handle a huge crowd. A lot of empty space because everyone is waiting either outside or inside on a line. Please put a permanent fulltime person on cashier.

C L Fenton

Divine chocolate almond croissant and great decaf coffee. The line for ordering sandwiches and baked goods is the same so be ready for a long wait, even off season.

Colin Belobrow

The food is superb here. Absolutely incredible. Dishes do tend to come out at burn-your-mouth heat, so give them a few minutes to cool off. The only issue I have is that the acoustics in their indoor dining room magnify sound a lot, making it very hard to hold a conversation if there are a lot of people.

Aurora Allshouse

Love this little bakery. We visit every time we're on the cape, and although the lines are usually crazy, it's worth the wait. Authentic French treats and great coffee, and the outdoor fire pits make for cozy seating even in chilly weather.

Vince Osborne

This is the best bakery on Cape Cod, by far. Cookies and White Chocolate Bread.

Christina Filep

We just bought pastries, but they were amazing. It's like a slice of Paris in Wellfleet.

Joseph Mangano

12/29. A great bakery with empty shelves is not a great bakery...it’s a disappointment...especially if you drove from Osterville....when you have empty shelves, CLOSE and post it online...don’t forget how you got to be a great bakery and ignore your customers

Miriam Lincoln

Terrible service. Fair food.

Walter Cicchetti

Delicious!

George Reuther

Excellent pastries and breads, indecision at the counter is common...but can't be helped with all the choices!

Sam Sader

Decent food, pricey

Bruce Perry

Fantastic French pastries and bread. Great restaurant too. Can get busy here. Reservations a good idea during the summer.

Ashley Wagenbach

The pasteries were really good, but was the hour plus wait worth it? You can decide for yourself

Len Lavoie

After two trips I have nothing but praise for this bakery. The pastries are well prepared and delicious. I personally love the blue cheese baguette?

Pat W

Excellent find. Fun atmosphere. Have to be patient waiting in line but the bakery is worth the wait. Croissants are delicious. Pastries are wonderful. And sandwiches are great.

Catherine Clark

Wonderful French bistro. Lunch special, sandwich, drink, soup and dessert of your choice for $14.95...awesome.

Sari Germanos

Stood in line this morning to by some “fresh” croissant and baguette. Arrived home later to find they sold me baked goods from yesterday or before. It was all stale. Very disappointing and dishonest.

Hank Hodes

Lovely French bistro and bakery, with long morning queues for breakfast until midday. Prix fix dinners are served early, and lovely lighting in the dining room. A must visit for any food lovers in the area.

Stephanie Fahey

Love this place best bread, pastries, just all around delicious you can't beat it...stood in line over hour and half for my purchase.

Matt V

Good selection, fairly authentic. Some of the pastries and bread were stale. Great location... very busy. In the city this would be a 4. On the cape, well.. it's a 5 but I'm taking off a point for value as well as the efficiency of the service.

Kendra Wright

Always fantastic. Philippe and his family work hard and sacrifice much to provide customers with an exceptional product and experience every time. I've been coming here since they opened and am most certainly a loyal fan. They make it easy to be so.

Carol Nickerson

Superb food,, outstanding staff. Our waitress, Betsy, knew everything on the menu in detail and took care of us beautifully. She is definitely a huge asset. Aaron, the bartender made perfect wine selections for us. The food was fresh, hot when needed, and done with care. TEN STARS!

Trevor

Dinner here is good but not excellent. I find a lot of their dishes too rich. They do have excellent raw bar. Their baked goods are worth the visit into themselves. All in all this place is great. If you're not going there for dinner, go there for some heads and pastries.

Steph J

Oh my. We've been to hundreds of bakeries. This is on top 5%. Rivals best of Montreal and Paris.

Peter Samiljan

Excellent food and atmosphere served with obvious care.

Nicole Bates

Cozy and adorable French bistro and patisserie. Delicious pastries and breads. Friendly service!

Tera Falcetti

We LOVE this place! Don't be deterred by the line, there's a line for a reason... It's worth it! Amazing fresh baked goods and coffee. The almond croissants are the best I've had (you're welcome for the recommendation, please leave some for me

william wolfson

The fine pastry and bread at this Cape Cod treasure is an annual highlight. The croissants and bacon cheese bread made for wonderful meals.

Olga Partan

A very disappointing experience. The PB Boulangerie is getting worse and worse. The management should better train their employees. Our waitress, Selina, was not paying attention to our requests and clearly had no idea about food allergies, making some ignorant assumptions. The duck was overcooked and dry and the 50 dollars steak was also overcooked. While serving water, the young waitress spilled it all over our table. For those who are familiar with good French cuisine this place is simply mediocre. Several customers, were loosing their patience, and instead of waiting for their forks and knives just took it from the other tables. The service is EXTREMELY slow. Be prepared to wait for 1 hour 15 minutes for the main dish. Overall, this bistro is overpriced and pretentious. It's Pseudo-French.

John Bouchard

Outside of Quebec and parts of France, this little bistro is as authentic as it gets for breads, sweets, and sandwiches. Expect to queue it and wait because many others likely think similar thoughts

Samantha Testa

Absolutely amazing dinner. The foie gras app is to die for and my favorite dinner option is the curry clams but I've never had a bad meal at PB

Paul White

This is a must on Cape Cod!!! Delicious and excitement abound! The smells and sites of pastry and breads overload the senses... Can't wait to go back!

Roland Roy

Great snacks, stopover after playing Highland Links. A must do.

Paul Kuda

Fabulous little restaurant bistro. Honestly, it's oddly placed, which makes it that much better. Super friendly staff. Everyone's food was fabulous. It's a bit pricey, even for the Cape in the summer, but we'd return. We'll done.

James Tuttle

Fresh Fresh Fresh Best ingredients prepared exceptionally well and consistent. Hands down my all time favorite since PB Boulangerie Bistro opened. It is well worth the journey to visit

Wendy Kelman

Loved the salmon club sandwich !

Nico V

Very nice setup with alot of French decorations and GREAT food. It is near the road and near the bike trail. If you like chocolat, go for the éclaire, you won't regret it. They also have a fire pit outside with some chairs setup as well as water fountain for us and dogs.

Barbara Allsopp

Best place for hot chocolate, sit around the fire, have a pastry. Absolutely love it here.

Brian & Traci Strachota

Thank you so much chef Phillippe for your hospitality, delicious dinner, quaint dining room, and outstanding service!! Top notch, wonderful experience! Wisconsin girls will recommend your amazing bistro to friends heading to the Cape. Thank you again!

Fernando Oliveira

Great little French restaurant near the head of the rail trail in wellfleet. We had the quiche Lorraine which had a salty French bacon flavor and chocolate croissant which was excellent. Tasty treat after a long ride.

Michael Skazinski

The best dinner you can get in New England! Then, come back for breakfast and buy bread for lunch. It is one of the greatest places I have been to.

Mike Rossi

Well worth the stop for pastries and sandwiches

Karen Murphy

It was shortly before closing. There were very limited selections. We got their chocolate croissants and a baguette. All we delicious. The dining room had a lovely ambiance. We look forward to returning again earlier in the day. Heard everything is scrumptious. Must say that the staff we wonderful even though it was the end of their work day. Well worth visiting. Oh almost forgot to mention how beautiful the grounds are.

Vjeddalentina Gjoni. vvvbb. keida

Beautiful Cape Cod vibe feeling. The store has a patio outside with a firepits making it a homey feel but yet enjoying the nature outside.

Nick Dubrule

Great bread, croissants and French pastries. All worth having, even if fattening

Oliver Cipollini

Best French restaurant and bakery on Cape Cod. Unique French bakery and sandwiches. Fine dining and worth the trip and ambiance. They have a fire going all day and a sitting area outside to enjoy the beauty and enjoyment of their delicious creations.

Jonathan Leone

Been to both the boulangerie (get there early) and the restaurant both tremendous.

cyndyoga

Been wanting to go here since it opened. Wonderful French atmosphere and delicious goodies. Real butter folks. Sorry to hear that they, like so many Cape businesses are hurting for staff. We can only hope to Dump the Trump and let Summer help from other countries return. Leaving was death defying trying to make a left into Rt. 6...

Mary Wilder

Fantastic place....awesome baked goods , jams, pasta + beverages..Service is fast + friendly..We live in New York and visit once a year..we had the opportunity to watch the chefs and prep cooks in action...working very hard preparing for lunch

Phil Kruse

The food was incredible, so full of depth and flavor. We sat at the counter which was a fantastic experience to be able to look into the kitchen. The portions gave us plenty of food. I'd highly recommend the chocolate mousse to finish.

Gary Lam

Even the wait to get our pastries was pleasant. Crossaints were delicious but the danishes were fresh and fruity! Yummy!

Glenn Martin

Good coffee with amazing baked goods. Fire outside in the am chairs. Love it

Kim Chapman

Superb offerings, hands down. I would recommend instead of 1 person taking orders and 1 person cashiering they have 2 people taking orders and 2 cashiers - one of them could use Square on a phone and move the line much quicker. Standing for that long is a definite deterrent.

lauren mignacca

Good service nice friendly staff and good quality homemade foods

Patrick Cunning

Ordered white chocolate bread thinking it’s recipe hadn’t changed. Wasn’t informed by the server that the recipe had changed and now has orange in it. It was one the worst things I’ve ever tasted. Will not be returning!!!!

Linda Nelson

Long line and so do food. The Blue Willow bakery is across the street and is much better with no line.

Erica Chan

Great bread and good assortment of baked goods homemade jams and even homemade pate. Decent coffee and rare to have a place offering almond and soy milk. Watermelon juice is refreshing. The special for dinner service sounds amazing will be back to try it. Cute seating area (outdoor and indoor).

Cyd Depriest

I have traveled to Cape Cod for many years having lived in Connecticut.I now live in California and recently returned for a short visit. Staying in Wellfleet afforded me the opportunity to go to PB Boulangerie Bistro. Let me tell you that if you are any where near this gem of dining......Make an effort to snatch a reservation. It will be the highlight of your trip.Chef goes beyond the experience of Bistro food and makes you feel like you boarded a plane to France. Hats off to a really cool place with the infusion of friendliness, warmth and attention to serving guests in a manner of professionalism and execution. I can't wait to return!

Gary Cloutier

Absolutely LOVE this place. We can not go to the outer Cape without stopping there. The pastries are incredible, and they now have sandwiches that are great to pack for your trip to the beach. There is usually a long line there in the mornings, but it's well worth the wait. Go, Go, Go to PB Boulangerie's whenever you get a chance. You won't be disappointed.

Adam Solomon

Fantastic bakery at the end of the bike path It can get very crowded on busy days and for good reason. The breads and pastries are superlative. The espresso fantastic. I've never eaten in the dining room or had one of their savory goods. There's some very nice outdoor seating and limited car parking. There are also two bike racks on the patio right in front. When I'm bicycling by I make a point of stopping here unless the line is too long. The line can get very very long when this shop is busy. Some of this is due to inefficiency in their order taking process -- you order from one person who gives you the food and then essentially have to reorder from the person working the register. The line is often out the door -- and down the ramp. The bathrooms are spotless.

Nicole Eck

Waited for over an hour in a line that was not very long. They are extremely understaffed. Was here 2 years ago and my experience was phenomenal. This time my almond croissant was heavy and dense (instead of light and airy) after a wait that was certainly not worth it. I heard from locals that this type of thing is the new norm. The owner had a great thing going, he just needs to bulk up his staff!

Margaret James

It's a beautiful place love love love it

Nathaniel Fahy

Delicious and authentic French bakery. Great decour complete with fire pit and chairs outside. Main downside is the wait. Have never been there when there hasn't been a line out the door. Waited 25 minutes for a loaf of bread last visit

William Haley

I can not say enough good things about PB. Brunch, dinner, desserts, smoked salmon all so amazing. This place can compete with the top restaurants in boston.

Steven Conforti

Never miss an opportunity to get their breads and pastries.

Mircea Marin

This place has a great selection of pastry and french breakfast dishes. All of these are delicious and the prices are ok. Usually there is a long line so be prepared to wait for 15 minutes or more - but it's worth the wait!

Jason Roebuck

It has to be one of the best bakery's in New England.

Graham Bailey

Divine baked goods. Little cramped for how busy it gets, but well worth the wait. Have not eaten at the Bistro but the menu looked superb.

M. Ryan Doyle

Favorite bakery on the Cape!

Patricia Berry

It's my favorite cafe! I love the chocolate almond croissant with the coffee. Never a disappointment.

Benny A

Can't wait to go back!

Eric Wolff

Too good! Authentic French Pastry and breads flawlessly executed.

Richard Maguire

One of a kind place, excellent French bakery and bar

Coffee Is Life

This establishment is essentially 2 business; a bakery and a restaurant. The bakery is packed with delicious goods (their croissants are top notch) and good quality coffee. The line for the bakery is always very long and slow moving though. also, waitstaff is not as friendly as I would have liked, they don't seem too happy about being there. The restaurant on the other hand, is ridiculously overpriced, and the food is not what you'd expect for the price you pay. It's a small place so they have to charge more to pay the bills which is understandable, but along with paying more, should come better quality food, which unfortunately is not the case here. 5 stars for the bakery, 1 star for the restaurant.

Kathleen Mora

The bread and desserts are yummy! All made there Love the hot chocolate

JJ Petrouski

Amazing food, wonderful atmosphere. The staff are very attentive and thoughtful.

Larry Meilleur

Truly delicious French pastries and breads.

Phoebe Otis

Very good.

Frog Mom

Poor 1st experience. No postings or staff assistance until you get to counter (after long line) We had wrong menu- correct menu for time of day was not on display. Had to rush to look over menu and order feeling pressure with such long line. Pre-made sandwiches good but quiche not heated up through out. Worth giving another chance....

Thomas Schwarz

On a positive note the bakery goods are scrumptious! On a less than positive note, my wife and I had reservations for a quiet, romantic table. We were seated at a table for four next to the kitchen door. When we politely asked to the reseated at that table for 4 over there in the corner the manager said, no, that's a table for 4.!!, We are sitting at a table for 4! We politely explained we reserved something private, quiet and romantic. The manager looked at us blankly and said, how about two seats at the bar? Needless to say, we left.

Michael Bush

Get the club salmon!

emre biyikli

I was very excited to find a French bakery in such a rural region. The taste is good.

Dave B

It's a strange experience. I know everyone loves the bread loafs but I seriously dont get it. If it weren't for the 30-60 min out the door line and the crazy cramped interior I'd probably give this place more stars. They should also put their menu outside the door so you have some idea what you want before getting in the door and being rushed to order.

Boris Foelsch

Outstanding service, fresh french-style breads and pastries, great seating, incliudng a lovely patio, draft beer and perfect.location at the end of the bike trail. I got a lunch special, with beer, soup, sandwich and added a pastry for only $16.04!

Manda Salls

Amazing quality, delicious pastries, coffees, and breads. Be prepared for long lines in season or call ahead with your order. Nice patio to sit and enjoy your goodies.

Chika Sakashita

Worth coming to Cape Cod for this boulangerie! The best almond crossiant of my life and I love their version of tart tartine. The floating island at the bistro is superb too. It's a heavenly boulangerie like you find in France!

Stephen Ryan

Fantastic food. it was the last day of their season and they were closing for a couple of months so it was totally mad. Definitely a place to visit.

Kourtney

Best thing to come to Wellfleet! We are so thankful to have such a beautiful restaurant in this town! The Chef and his crew are amazing! Pure talent, love this place!

Carolyn Phelps

Absolutely delightful! Authentic, fabulous French bread and pastries.

John Custy

Fabulous food, good service, though the timing between courses was a bit long. The wait staff were busy, and the delay acknowledged. Looking forward to returning...

Steven Gitnik

Great french bakery/restaurant

Ebuka Umunna

The French pastries here are simply heavenly. Just can't describein words what's on offer here. Absolutely delicious. A taste of France on Cape Cod

Karen Burgess

Wonderful place. Enjoyed a fabulous dinner with our daughter and her fiancee along with future in-laws. Our server, Betsy, was wonderful. Loved her and the evening.

Nonso Umunna

This was a great place to visit. The pastries were out of this world delicious. Had some croissants that were really delicious like the almond croissant and strawberry croissant. The lady who took our order (unfortunately I don't remember her name) was so nice and very good to us. There can be a line from time to time but it doea move and is worth the wait. You'll love it. I'll go back if I visit the Cape Cod again. Highly recommend.

Andrew Blair

The real deal! How this place even exists seems impossible

Lindi Hwalima

Every time is amazing, cakes and baked goods phenomenal!

Dan L

Amazing French bakery. Lots of delicious options and fresh bread to take for later. Not sit down, so make sure to get there before 8 to avoid the line!

T Smith

Great french place. Its all very good. Seems to usually have long lines out the door but worth the wait. You order at the counter and take it to go or sit down.

Tami Hall

I love this place! Anytime we come to the Cape we visit here. They have great breakfast and amazing pastries and bread!! The line is always crazy long but it’s worth the wait!

Karen Quigley

Delightful place to eat. We just had desserts. The staff was most helpful. Would love to return in the summer.

Ralph Alswang

My family and I went on a trip to the Cape in the late fall. We made a reservation and were delighted to be greeted with amazing service! Our server Betsy took great care of us all and guided us through menu to make great dinner Choices. The foie gras was delicious we moved onto the famous raw Wellfleet Oysters & clams late fall is the best time to eat Wellfleet Oysters. Main course of incredible cod. We finished with chocolate mouse that transport to Lyon where chef/owner Philippe RispoliIi grew up and started his storied cooking career. PB is a must stop for foodies visiting the Cape!

Chris Stock

Over priced $60 steak , very bland nothing special, should have stayed home and picked up a nice rib-eye from Highland Park market, cooked it myself

Elias Adam

Top notch service and food. All the staff members I encountered were very charming, professional and extremely courteous. Then there is the food. I had one of the best salads I have had in a long time. The complimentary appetizers were an unexpected surprise and delicious. Overall I had one of the best dining experiences on the cape here. The interior of the building is very well done, Cape Cod on the outside, European in the inside. The food and experience did remind me of memories of France. If you're able to get a table, don't pass up the chance to dine here.

R. Michael Lake

Really good French bakery

Kyle Douglas

Ahhh yes wi wi...

Ivan Alexander

The best of the best

Zachary Kapsiotis

Excellent danishes, good coffee, great atmosphere.

Mary Menditto

Great place to stop for a snack. Crisp baguette and delicious cafe au lait!

Susan Hayes

Um it's French food made by real French people, from France! Phillipe and Boris are the best thing to come to Wellfleet ever.

l dwyer

Wonderful lunch sandwiches and selection of desserts. Sit outside, inside screened porch or inside in air conditioned dining area. Fresh and delicious.

Justin Collins

Unorganized, boujee set up and horrible creme brulee. There strawberry croissants were packed with jam and way too sweet. The place is cramped and they make you walk outside to get to a room that's inside. So glad i didn't eat lunch there, only desert that we didn't finish.

Johnathon Kok

Great place with the Best French Food and Baked Goods. We have been coming to PB for a very long time, and we enjoy all the fine breads, and baked goods. When dining for dinner is possible the food is also just as amazing.

Jose Ramos

Crowded be prepared to wait !

William Gilbert

Great pastry shop!!

duncan hughes

Very good pastries, out of the weather.

Paula Marsney

A must stop by Wellfleet, you won't be disappointed!

J. min

So nice inside and out. Good stuff.

Keith Namiot

Amazing pastries, bread and gourmet ready-made sandwiches. Everything is baked fresh. However, the takeout service is slow. I waited on line for over an hour when I arrived at 7:15 AM. Have not eaten in the restaurant in a few years. The food was good when we last went but there are other options that are less pricey and almost as good.

Susan McKemy

Excellent food, cute spot, quite busy

Alan Pierson

Great pastries!!! And great bread. Would love more savory vegetarian options, though.

Loren Carusone-Wein

Their pastries are an OUT OF BODY experience. This is the real deal if you want authentic, five star French food. If I lived near this place I'd be fat and broke.

Cynthia Cates

French schooled professional chef! He remembers the customers and is delighted to please palates!
