I went to New Fortune today and unfortunately the wait staff did not come to my table. I waited for them to come and had in mind what I wanted to order and still it seemed they did everything to avoid coming to my table. There was really nobody in the restaurant. I had my daughter sitting on my lap and I still waited and I made eye contact at them and no body came to my table to take my order or asked me was I ready to make an order. Or did I want anything to drink. I have been to plenty of Chinese Restaurant to know how I'm supposed to be treated.They did exact opposite of what anyone would aspect. I knew exactly what was going on and because of how I was treated today. I will say I will never step foot back in that establishment ever again. Before I left I had my keys and purse in my hand and they still didn't come over. I then started to get up and walk they should of stopped us to asked if anything was wrong. But didn't. By that visit it made me feel that I wasn't being accepted and they didn't want us there. Did I mention the two waiter were being rude as soon as I came in they looked at me and said something to each other but never once came to my table . I finally had enough and got up and walked out quitely. If I didn't. I know that I would still be sitting there with my daughter. All I was trying to do was feed my daughter and staff wasn't allowing me to. If I'm not good enough to eat in your restaurant then I'm not good enough for take out. I will never step foot back in that place again after how I was treated today. Update: Just got off the phone with the owner's nephew and he told me that he will let her know. He did let me know that this is a problem that they've been having because of something that happened in the past. It's something that they're working on. He also apologize for the wait staffs behavior.

Very unassuming from the outside but great food and friendly service. We've been going here for years and it is consistently enjoyable. The menu has a wide variety of options and there's a full bar. We like the chirashi sushi and pu pu platter.

Never got a bad meal here. Mostly take out there's other places I can go that are closer to home but it's worth the extra miles for the better quality food. We've been going here for so long they even know our names and what our autistic son's "usual" order is. They also check on how the kids are if we are taking the order to go.

Great people! Clean and reasonably priced food. It is our "go to" place for delivery ($3 fee is worth it). Eat in is great especially since it is in the same plaza as our grocery store. We can eat then shop. Very convenient.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Greenfield. You have to do some careful mining and sifting to find the authentic dishes amongst the typical American-Chinese-Japanese-Thai melange of genetic Asian cuisine, but they are there. I highly recommend the dumplings with hot sesame sauce, for example.

New Fortune has always been my family's go-to American-style Chinese restaurant in the Greenfield area. They are a mainstay - in business for more than 30 years - and the food is absolutely spot-on every time I go. The sushi and sashimi is always fresh, the miso soup is incredible, and trust me when I say you're doing yourself a disfavor if you don't try the boneless ribs appetizer.

The food was HORRIBLE!!! I just spent the last 45 minutes trying to stomach the food because I was so hungry. I'm trapped at work and didn't want to wait another 45 - 60 minutes to order something else or spend it on the phone with them. They are too expensive and couldn't even include any napkins or utensils! Not to mention that I got it at room temperature and SUPER bland. EXTREMELY disappointed.

Placed our order by phone. They did not confirm our order nor give my husband the total before barking out, "15-20 minutes!" and hanging up on him. When I picked up the order, they had given us - and charged us for - a moo goo gai pan combo instead of a la cart, as we'd ordered. The food was sub-par: not very flavorful, the crab rangoon was tough and plain, and the "gravy" for chicken chow mein and moo goo gai pan was weak and thin. The egg roll is below mediocre. There was also very little meat in the dishes. The prices are comparable to the nearby China Gourmet, which has far better food and service.

My husband and I have been coming here since 1987 lately the food has been greasy and cold. This evening we ordered and asked for delivery an hour and a half later we got our food .Cold and gross. Guess we will be looking for another place

great food but slow delivery for me atleast i live in turners so i get if it takes a bit longer for it to get here but they said it would be there 30 minutes or somthing close to that but they took 1 hour and 30 minute for just chiken fingers and white rice to get here i also know the brige is out but still it shouldent take that long.

Their food is delicious!!! I had the sushi and sashimi for 1 and some octopus, the fish had great flavor and a great price for what you get. Will definitely come back for more.

The few times we have been there, has always left us with a full belly and leftovers. The food is very tasty and priced reasonably. The dining area isn't to big, but you usually won't have a problem getting a table; we noticed a lot more take out orders than dine in. When your done, you can go walk it off and go shopping at the several retailers in that same lot.

I have been going here for around 8 years with little to know problems. Sometimes the service in the restaurant is a bit slow however the staff are always friendly and helpful. Takeout is great its rare for them to make a mistake on my order and the delivery driver is always friendly. They upgraded to a mobile card scanner so thats always great.
